I guess you all have heard about Vidigal, a favela next to Leblon that used to be dangerous many years ago. It has been gentrified for a long time now, you can even find Airbnbs at 1K USD per month. Besides keeping many traces of its interesting history, there are a few bars and restaurants at the top that deliver an amazing view (check the pictures I took last August). This post is to let you know that a friend of mine, who used to live there, is now working as a guide. His name is Patrick and this is his Instagram: Patrick Ptk (@tpk_008) • Instagram photos and videos WWW.INSTAGRAM.COM 405 Followers, 1,462 Following, …

Meh. Couldn’t be bothered with 202 Wed tradition so out of curiosity trekked to Gloría. Over a few hours about a half dozen of the older acompanhantes and as many punters, except the single pleasantly surprising hot programa described elsewhere. A massage with ex-stripper (now occasional) Panda, as mentioned. He is very good technically and runs his massage practice in Copacabana around same street as 202 but closer to the beach. I forgot to try to add his socials and I will text him to ask if he’d like the prop here. I don’t think the interactive show, actually average looking dudes, with a handful of spectators, will uptick Wed attendance.

Does anyone have any experience with massoterapia.volupta on IG? Does he actually know what he is doing as far as massage goes? I was thinking of contacting him during my next trip.

Hello... I skimmed through some previous posts, but haven't seen this one. I'm filling out the e-visa application and they say the exact dates of my last arrival and departure are mandatory and the one previous to that as well. My last trip was in June, 2014 for the World Cup, but my email account only goes back to 2017. Bank and credit cards even, and wouldn't have exact dates anyway. Has anyone else been in this situation. I tried calling the company with the visa contract, the woman kept saying she couldn't hear me, while a man was shouting loudly very close to her and then she hang up, then wouldn't take anymore calls from my number. k

Hi Guys, I'm an avid Brazilian men lover. I recently created a OF account, and subscribed to a few stunning Brazilian studs OnlyFans VIP pages. I have noticed a few differences between USA guys vs Brazil guys. Most of the Brazilian accounts charges a higher monthly subscription fee, but will upload all videos with no additional charges. While the USA men will charge a smaller monthly fee but will charge you anywhere from $14.99 to up to $30 for new video releases. I mostly follow the guys from Brazil, because that's what I'm into. Although, I do follow a few guys from the USA. Recently, I subscribed to 2 new stunning Brazilian studs OF page. Both sent me a PM…

He really did it. It was not just a fantasy. The handsome GP at Lagoa was telling me the truth in July when he said he had finished an autobiographical book that would be sold on Amazon by December. It is only $6 on Kindle (Portuguese only): Amazon link. Not very long but I think it qualifies as a book. I just got to the part where he was raped at 12 and thrown out of the house for marijuana at 14. I have not yet read about his interactions with clients! The prose is somewhat florid, but I'm not going to nitpick. Anyway, I thought some of you might find this unusual product worth checking out for a mere $6.

I'm posting this in both the Brazil and Colombia forums. An avid Brazilophile, I have limited experience with Colombia. Yet, in a couple of weeks, I will find myself in Medellin for 4 days, followed by Bogotá for another 4. My time will be limited bc my unslutty husband will (atypically) be with me, the trip occasioned by his need for 4 more Hyatt nights (and thus we'll staying at the Hyatt Place in Bogotá, undecided in Medellin) Enough boring background--my fear is that with my limited time (only parts of 8 days, basically daytimes while my husband hits the museums), I'm going to stagger around (figuratively) wasting a lot of time. I've read all the Colombia…

any help is appreciated… I’ve decided to take the plunge and visit Brazil early next year. That said I’d like to hire guides that can show me a good time (safely). does anyone have any contacts for Rio, Salvador, or Sao Paolo? Ideally I’m looking for a guy that can double up as a buddy: show me the city and beaches, nightlife etc.

Following recommendations of Tomcal, we decided to go to Bangu sauna on sunday which is supposed to be the best day there. Bangu is located 30 km from Rio. We struggled a little since the sauna Casa Grande is not well poditionned on google : it is actually on the opposite side of the railway. But it is well positionned on uber so if you use uber, it should be ok. (The swimming pool shown above is the one of Casa Grande) When you see the police car with the policemen with guns you are close (lol). Sauna opens at 3 pm on sunday. Boys are coming regularly until 5 or 6 pm. We arrived there around 3.30 pm. Around 5 pm, there w…

I've had difficulty with the Brazil e-Visa process and wonder if others have had similar experiences. On September 2nd I applied online and paid for the visa. Several times the agency processing the visa requests has rejected the photo of myself that I took and the photo of the identification page of my passport (VFS Gobal). At the request of VSF Global I FedEx'ed the passport photo and passport page. I continue to receive e-mails stating my application will not be processed due to lack of photo / passport page. I've called the VSF Global telephone number provided for Brazil and a half-dozen times have been disconnected. This a.m. I finally got through and on and of…

Still traveling through South America (I’m in Rio now, review on that coming later), but wanted to share some notes on the places I’ve already hit: Iguazú Falls 🌊🌴 The Falls: Did the Argentina side only — miles of trails, tons of spray, and every bit as breathtaking as expected. Where I Stayed: Stayed in Foz do Iguaçu (Brazil) which was an easy base. Extra Adventure: Crossed into Ciudad del Este, Paraguay for a night of drinking — no passport stamps needed for a quick visit. Gritty but a fun little side trip. Tip: Wear good shoes and be ready to get wet — it’s part of the experience. Curitiba 🇧🇷 City Vibe: Clean, organized, wi…

Hello all, Planning on my second trip to Rio by the end of November, this time I might have to avoid saunas like Pointe 202 and 117 with GP since I'll be in Rio during the Gay pride weekend, and probably most people including GP's will be at the pride parade and other events. I was doing some research for parties during pride weekend and found out a few cruising bars and parties advertised on Instagram, I was wondering if any of you guys have tried these bars/parties/events and if it's worth going: Taurus Bar - Lapa: advertised as a cruising bar with darkrooms and glory holes Black Cat: Copa, similar as as Taurus but seems more touristy than locals? …

In a trip report of Africa I am writing in the Africa forum,( www.gayguides.com/topic/72912-bottoming-in-sub-saharan-africa/#findComment-473447 ) I describe a Grindr guy who only afterwards decided he was a “sex worker” and demanded crazy sums; I refused, after which he refused to leave and attempted to physically restrain me from seeking help. While I have seen the horror stories of killings in Brazil described here and elsewhere I am more interested in the personal experiences of forum members. I have invited, (I estimate) a couple of hundred GPs to my apartments and a few dozen (free) Grindr guys, and there have been very very few who tried to change …

My research indicates that I can invest R$1,000,000 which is less than $200,000 (or at least it is for the time being until the current administration finds a new and improved way to drive the economy off a cliff) in Brazil and obtain permanent residency. Could I buy an Airbnb as an investment in Ipanema, hire someone to manage it in the near-term while I sort out what exactly the terms of my divorce with Merica are going to be and then, um, drink caipirinhas and stare at the ocean and exchange bodily fluids with nominally 28 year olds that have a toned swimmer’s body and a mocha complexion until the sun explodes or I die, whichever comes first? If you are curious, …

I’m complete newbie to Brazil. I’m 40. Looking to top only, non GPs. Are there great SP/Rio sex clubs, saunas or reoccurring sex parties where you don’t have to pay for sex? Similar to cruising spaces in Spain/Canaries

There has been a widely reported instance of tainted alcohol showing up in venues in Sao Paulo--including apparently in some upscale venues. The situation was deemed serious enough that the health minister urged people to avoid ordering mixed drinks. My friends in Brazil tell me its a big deal and people are avoiding mixed drinks and drinking beer instead. Does this mean we won't be able to enjoy that Caipirinha anymore without fear of going blind or worse? https://abcnews.go.com/Health/wireStory/brazilians-avoid-drinking-after-authorities-confirm-methanol-poisoning-126217016

A quick belated update on another visit to Nordeste this past August. Excellent trip, and I really love that part of Brazil. Great beaches and plentiful sun in this season, food not too bad, authentic parties. Everything is at least half price of RJ and SP. Azul and some others fly from Florida direct into many cities in Northeast - less than 6hrs flying time on an A321, no need to go all the way to SP/RJ and backtrack, and it's very cheap (I flew to Belem and out of Recife, and my tix were about $200-220 one-way). Fortaleza is slowly gentrifying, but that can't be said about saunas - however they are not getting worse at least! Dragon sauna has closed and…

I've pulled the trigger on a decent airfare from Tampa, FL to Rio de Janeiro, arriving September 27, leaving October 6. It's been a while since my last visit. 🙂 I haven't booked a room yet but it'll likely to be in Flamengo or Catete. Anyone around then, maybe we can meet. Otherwise, anything I should know that hasn't already been posted on this forum (visa issues?), I'll appreciate a heads-up. Thank you.

Tomorrow I am leaving Rio and settling in Salvador for a month. I will be staying in Barra. This would be my second visit, my first one was before the pandemic. I understand Clube 11 and Sauna Fox are the two GP saunas still working. Questions for whoever has updated info: are there other saunas? What are the best days and times to enjoy these two establishments? Obrigado!

I am curious about the La Cueva bar in Copacabana. I searched here for "Cueva" and only found this one paragraph from one post from 2022: I'm sure this description will repel many of my pals here — but I want to check out La Cueva as a potential post-sauna stop on the way to my Copacabana hotel. Thanks in advance for any reviews or tips! IG site: https://www.instagram.com/lacuevabrasil/
