Has anyone been there for the carnival mid-feb? If so, please share info and tips, tourism and sex. Thx (-:

  2. Started by Peter Parker,

After spending a wonderful week in Salvador in mid-August, I took a two-hour flight north to São Luís for a long weekend. The city is well worth a short visit. I enjoyed wandering through the historic centre, which seemed better maintained than most other Brazilian cities, and felt safe walking around during the day, particularly on the main shopping street. Unfortunately, the beaches were disappointing—the seawater was cloudy and green, and the sand was hard and compacted. Even so, I enjoyed dining in high-end restaurants along the beachfront near Ponta d’Areia each evening. I also visited the GP sauna, Go.61, which turned out to be a lot of fun with a good sel…

  3. Hey all. I've been travelling around a fair bit in the past few weeks, so thought I'd share brief reports in the next few weeks on my experience at some of the places I travelled to. I was in Sao Paulo and Rio recently (you may have seen me posting a couple of weeks/months earlier asking questions on Rio). As a disclaimer, I was actually more occupied with non-sexual touristic activities (which I will not bore you with), so there's probably not as much I can report on regarding the sex scene. Sao Paulo I was here just for 3 nights (weekend) and stayed at Intercity The Universe Paulista - close enough to walk to Av Paulista but far enough to not be tr…

  4. I started my slow traveling experience in Rio. I am here since last Monday. As my priority this time is not the saunas, I rented an apartment in Recreio dos Bandeirantes, with a nice beachfront balcony. I cannot recommend this neighborhood more for those looking for tranquility. It is far away from the Copa and Ipanema party and overcrowded atmosphere. Even better, my rent is in the strip between Posto 12 and Pedra da Macumba, where the main avenue runs one block away from the beach. The front of the building opens to the Avenue, the back opens to a ciclovia with no cars traffic. It is an area full of surfers with a neo hippie vive, and plenty of small cafes and bars, and…

https://www.instagram.com/dedalosrio/ Third delalos will open in Rio soon. At least now we have a 24-hour sex venue daily and not just on the weekend in Rio. Getting closer to SP, BH, and Fortaleza.

  6. Started by KJ1993,

Hey guys! It's that time of year again. I'm off to Brazil for a few weeks (SP, Rio, Goiania, Fortaleza, Salvador ) before heading over to Colombia for a wedding. My Brazilian friend has very kindly let me use his Wise account which gives me access to the infamous PIX. Been testing it out today - it's great! Last time I was unprepared and ended up spending a fortune on fees and horrendous exchange rates when withdrawing cash, particularly for saunas and GPs. PIX could well be a game changer. Just wondering if anyone has any experience of paying GPs in the sauna via PIX as opposed to cash. Is it a thing ? Wise transfers also seem to be getting…

Chamber of Deputies votes tomorrow whether to throw in with the Senate to revoke recent visa reinstatement. Tentative opinion is that the proposition will pass.

Instead of waiting until the last minute, I decided to go thru the process for the upcoming visa requirement for US Citizens... Didn't require any banking info.... I had to upload a foto like 3 or 4 times, i'd get an email saying no showing teeth (I was smiling) then another they couldn't see my eyes (I winked) another they couldn't see my ears.... I'm guessing that they're using Ai to process this stuff... In the end, it's took 7 days, but really only 3 days if you do the picture right 👍

  12. Started by brall3,

I visiteded Gold therapy massage (https://www.goldtherapy.com.br/) and the experience was a waste of time and money. After multiple exchanges of information on Whattsapp, specifying what type of massage I wanted, selecting the person, time, etc., when I arrived I was told that the person I requested was not available. I asked why wasn't I informed of that 2 hours ago when you RE-CONFIRMED my appointment? I was told that the fellow decided not to come in at the last minute. Then I was shown photos of guys who were readily available, and despite my better judgement, I selected another guy. When the fellow arrived, he did not look like the guy in the photo. What …

Hi all, Can I ask which hotels would you guys recommend in Rio? I have a trip coming up next month but haven't booked a hotel yet as I'm torn between staying near Ipanema or Copacabana. Help please! 😅 This will by my first trip to Rio, so I'm planning to check out the saunas and bars. I know a lot of the bars are around Ipanema, but the saunas seem to be scattered around in terms of location. For now, I'm looking at either Arena Ipanema, Orla Copacabana or Grand Mecure.

  14. hey, i’ve been reading threads on here for a min… but is there an official updated list of which clubs, sex clubs, cruising places, and or place with GP’s are current/active?

  15. Started by davet,

If this has been the subject of a previous thread, my apologies. I did not find it. Is there a list of recommended love motels in the two big cities? Something with a jacuzzi and "exhibition shower" would be nice, but otherwise just something comfortable, clean, don't-ask-don't-tell. I'd like to get one as my second home for the next trip. I've been to two: Estela do Sul near Praca da Arvore and Luxatel near Ana Rosa. Very bare minimum but they do their job.

  16. Started by davet,

Are the mega-hung guys in Rhyheim videos available for private sessions? I'm talking about Gabriel Coimbra, Andy Rodrigues, Gael Kriok, etc. Are they in Brazil and what's the best way to contact them? I know Roxas Caelum is advertising in LA (he must be the American exchange student).

Interesting article in the Washington Blade today. https://www.washingtonblade.com/2025/07/18/rise-in-sex-parties-in-brazil-upends-countrys-gay-nightlife/

  18. I'll be in Sao Paulo during Pride weekend (June 19 - 22) and then heading to Rio for a few days. Do you have any suggestions for a three or four nights side trip from Rio that ends in Sao Paulo (exit)? I am contemplating Salvador, Recife, Porto Alegre, Belo Horizonte or Brasilia.

  19. It seems that a trip report of southern Europe is surely misclassified in a Brazil forum. And certainly those looking for specific details on Brazil will find it useless (although with the migration away from the saunas and onto garotocomlocal, I find I have ever more idiosyncratic experiences, with a much greater YMMV factor than years ago) But, since the Europe trip was really a specific substitute for a Brazilian trip (and I was determined to overcome my usual attitude in Europe “I’m not paying 200 euros for that when I can wait a month and get something better”), I think it is useful to address larger questions of opportunity cost: Is Brazil worth it? At least durin…

Hello folks, I'll be in Salvador in less than 2 weeks. I've been there several times and always rented a car using Localiza. No difference this time except I got an email a few weeks ago from Avis about my rental (?). I know I did not make a reservation with Avis because Localiza has always been great for me and the Avis reservation had the generic 12PM pick up and drop off times. Has anyone experience this before? It's as if Avis spied on me and made a reservation based on the one I made with Localiza. I've confirmed with Avis that it is a true res. and I think I'm going to keep it since it's at least 500 brl cheaper than Localiza. What do you guys think?

  22. Due to my self-inflicted wound (described in another thread) of waiting until the last minute to apply for my Brazilian visa, 10 days have passed, and unless it materializes in the next few, my trip to Brazil will have become a trip to Buenos Aires, with the Brazil portion limited to a very long 18-hour or so layover in Brasilia airport, which presumably, I would not be able to leave without the visa. In wistfully perusing garotocomlocal for Brasilia, I came across a guy I know from SP. (I could get him in the Intl terminal by buying him a refundable award ticket to my destination), but then where do we go? (I'm really not one for a quickie in a bathroom stall, not …

  23. As of January 2, 2025, the new, increased entrance fees and suite fees for Club 117 in Rio are now (in BRL): Entrance fees: 96 BRL — if paying with credit or debit card. 88 BRL — if paying in (Brazilian) cash. Suite fees: 77 BRL — for 40 minutes. [Editor’s note: Before any tourists complain about this slight increase, the prices for almost everything in Brazil are increasing, and the exchange rate for the USD, the EUR and the CAN are currently at insanely favorable rates for foreigners (currently above 6:1 for the USD).]

  24. In this series, I'll review saunas, dark room clubs with interactive boys, and online hiring based on my trip in December 2024 and January 2025. I'll also share a brief comparison of Brazil with other countries and my thoughts on Brazilian saunas. I hesitated to write this because it’s lengthy, and some forum members can be difficult when my views differ from theirs. Still, I believe truthful information is valuable, allowing readers to filter what matters to them. So take whatever valuable to you and ignore the rest! For some reason, many here never disclose sauna or online hiring costs. Whether this is because regulars pay less and prefer to keep rates private or f…

I arrived Thursday on Copa in business class from Mexico City, they are a solid airline with good prices when bought in advance. Being Thurs isn't very good anywhere and I'll be here a few weeks, I stayed in... visiting a friend that's recently retired here, staying at his place he's just remodeled and went for Thai food.... was very bad Thai food made for Brazilian palates , no spice whatsoever. Friday night went to MM because Monday and Friday are reportedly their good nights.... there were 4 guys I was interested in and picked one.... YES, after months in ASIA finally had AMAZING sex, obviously a big dick that he knew how to use .... 24 yrs old and passionate…
