  1. Warning - not for those looking for Brazilian sauna stories - ignore this thread - - Once in a while, and not very often, Sao Paulo and Rio are blessed with some extraordinary cultural events. Last year, MASP had a large exhibit of more than one hundred Henri Toulouse Lautrec original paintings and drawings. A few years prior to the above event, The Museum D'orsay in Paris decided to remodel and wanted a good place to store a large number of wonderful paintings during the Paris renovation. Sao Paulo and Rio were chosen for the famous paintings. The display was spectacular. Here is a short utube film made of the exhibit of paintings from the French muse…

I am going there in July(not the best time, hot, humid and frequent afternoon showers!)but I getting my permanent residency Visa! If you are 60 or older, and meet Mecico's financial requirements for monthly income and savings you can skip the 4 year TEMPORARY VISA And go right to permanent status. As a side benefit my Brazilian boyfriend is joining me there!

A new sauna is opening up in Rio in the next 1 - 2 weeks. It puportedly will be the largest in Brazil. It was the site of a former Casino and Hotel, so has the "rooms" already! It has been going extensive remodeling the past 3 weeks adding the saunas, and making it into a useable form for a Gay sauna. I saw a video yesterday of what it looks like. It is going to have 16 or 18 suites, a large showroom/dance area with Gogo boy cages 10' above the floor and also a smaller separate bar for having negotiations with the guys where the music is quieter! Oh...and it is very close to 117! It looks to be about 5 blocks apart on Google maps! They are trying to have it open by …

  4. Gentlemen, Many of you perhaps already know about www.misterbandb.com, the gay equivalent of airbnb.com, but I thought I'd take the time to apprise you if you did not. In conjunction with this web and its offering, I typed in Rio de janeiro and clicked on whether or not I wanted a room or the entire place. Some interesting places and relatively low prices appeared. I also tried to do it in relation to Havana, Cuba but was not that successful, or I did not do a lot of searching out of a little frustration. But I do have some salient information regarding the latter.

  5. Over the past year, I had many disappointing visits to sauna Lagoa. A few of my visits were "okay" but my "okay" visits did not equal the quality nor quantity of garotos I found at Lagoa over the past sixteen years of visiting Lagoa many times each year. I realize that nothing is forever (except for death and taxes). My disappointment with Lagoa was because of the marked change in the type and quantity of available garotos. Over the past year or so, it was not unusual to find less than a dozen garotos working at Lagoa even on supposedly popular…

I arrived to Medellin two days ago. At the airport, I booked Uber. They driver accepted by was not by his parked car in front. I waited for 10 minutes and cancelled. Uber charges a fee. Ok. I rebooked and got the same con guy. He showed up and spoke in Spanish something like I have to pay him more because costs too much for gas and uber pays little. Uber quoted $65K COP, exactly the same as white taxi. I booked Uber because it was late and I didn't see any exchange open. Luckily the security lady helped me to the open cambio upstairs. It was 2AM. I changed $100USD and wend back downstairs for a white taxi. The guy quoted $65K COP. I agreed. It was a scary drive f…

I will be in Buenos Aires in the first week of July. I've been reading through the various posts on the subject but I note that they are mostly from last year (Latbear4blk's threads on BA have been exceptionally helpful:) In terms of sourcing/hiring escorts -What is the going rate at the moment? I know the prices would have changed since last year due to inflation! -Other than Soytoyo and Leonos are there any other recommended websites?

I am curious to know what people think, did, will do about the yellow fever vaccine. My ID specialist suggested me to avoid the vaccination until I was staying in Rio and São Paulo City centres. (I had to get the vaccine from the day I begun to go to BH, PA and other minor Brazilian cities).

  11. There is a series on Netflix called "Inside the Worlds Toughest Prisons" where a British ex-con goes inside to "live" inside a tough prison for a week to document conditions. Not surprisingly many of the toughest prisons he visits are in Latin America. Check out the episodes where he is in Brazil, or Colombia and it is not hard to imagine some of the tough guys that he interviews working in either 117 or 202. There are a lot of hot, shirtless guys in this series but more than anything it shows me what a fine line there is between a hot, seemingly well spoken guy and someone who could be a killer. It's worth watching not just for the eye candy but to remind us all to be ca…

  12. I sent them a WhatsApp message asking for the catalogue, and they added me to their maling lists. I am getting tons of pictures and voice messages recorded by the manager. It sounds like a very interesting alternative when visiting Medellin. Does anyone know the fees?

Nerdy as fuck!!! Woke up one morning, three weeks ago and decided that I had had enough reading other people’s sexcapades in Brazil. Visa Application My British passport expired late last year, I have not had time to renew so I had to apply for a visa with my Ghanaian Passport and Green Card. Since I was not sure if the visa waiver policy was going to apply to permanent residents as well I decided to go ahead and apply for a visa anyway. Gathered the required documents (comp…

Has anyone been invited to and attended or heard of the invitation-only Klub MeeTinGs located in Rio Centro. I received invitations to the weekend events which start late Saturday and continue until Tuesday morning. I understand it is a well-heeled and attractive invitation-only crowd. Just wondered what happens. I think they got my WhatsApp number from another customer I speak with at 117. But we did not discuss this club. Very little info is available.

  17. Hey guys, first time poster here. I’ll be in Lima next month for a 4 day weekend. Have dinner reservations lined up for Astrid y Gaston and Central. Gonna go sand boarding one day and Will do the requisite sightseeing and artisan shopping (recommendations welcome), but also looking for a guide and/or hot escorts. Love muscled young guys with great asses. Also, like smart, traveled guys that can converse in English as I only speak broken Spanish (again, recommendations are welcome). Anyone know the going rate in Lima? I clicked around and saw a few posts on the city but not much. Would love to hear from folks — DM works too. Thanks, guys. Ethan …

  18. For those who visit Brazil and first spend time in Sao Paulo then go to Rio, you might want to be aware of the below article. The article advises that the largest runway at Rio's at Santos Dumont airport will be closed for a month for upgrading. Only small aircraft will be allowed to use the smaller runway at the downtown airport. This mean that flights from downtown Congonhas Airport (Sao Paulo) will fly to the larger international airport (GIG) in Rio, much farther than downtown Rio (SDU). If you are visiting Sao Paulo during the above dates shown in the title, and if you plan to visit Rio from Sao Paulo, make sure you book one of the smaller aircraft…

  19. June 17, 2019 puts an end to the need for Americans (and citizens of two other nations) to get a visa to visit Brazil. No more wasted time going to a consulate. No more wasted money for a visa. No more wasted money paying an agency to get the visa in case you are not near a consulate. Also, beginning tomorrow, if Americans have a flight to Brazil, it is now possible to check in on line 24 hours prior to your flight. No more waiting in line at airports to have someone verify that you have a visa. Bolsonaro might be a lunatic but at least he had a good idea to stop the visa requirement. Think of how much tourism money was lost for Brazil because…

  20. Bar Mixx moved to a new location since the last time I visited Porto Alegre, less than one-half mile from the old location. It's a much bigger space with more tables, a dance floor, stage and an outdoor area. The concept is still the same with some guys who were working earlier coming to Bar Mixx along with some local guys, showing up around 10:30 - 11 pm. I was there on a Friday and Saturday night and neither night was very busy but both nights 15-20 guys there. They also have some rooms for rent as well. Be careful if you Google for the bar's address as the old address still shows up on many sites. Search for Novo Bar Mixx and not simply Bar Mixx. Here is the…

  21. Most of us already know that Trump is bigoted and hateful (and crazy). However, last week he did something no one outside of an insane asylum would do - Question - what business is it of Trump which flag is on an American Embassy in foreign countries? 24. In a different thread about Lagoa started by a different poster, I ended my post as follows: I am currently in Brazil again and plan to go to Lagoa tonight. Remember, Wednesday and Friday are usually (not always) the busiest and best nights at Lagoa. My last few visits to Lagoa were disappointing. If the place is filled tonight and joyful, like it used to be in prior times, I will report back. I arrived at Lagoa tonight a little past six. There were hardly any customers or garotos. As time passed and within an hour, a few more clients and garotos arrived. Of the garotos at Lagoa tonight, there were about three garotos I thought looked pretty good u…
