Is there a good selection of guys to choose from at Lagoa the Thursday -Saturday nights after Ash Wednesday?

  2. Started by Tomcal,

Last night(Friday) was the opening of the new “Manhatten 21” in Centro! Several of the guys who were there told me it was oof and they had 50 working guys show up! 16 suites all with showers. It has 5 floors with 3 floors occupied and the 4th and 5th for future expansion! It is open Monday thru Friday. I was told that centro is pretty empty on weekends so it was decided to be closed on Sat and Sundays since they are traditionally slow nights at the saunas! i will see it in person next friday.

"For the next few hours," Avianca is offering fares to Colombia from the US starting at $265, with allowance for two pieces of baggage. Well, golly gee. I'd like to go to Colombia. It is $265...from Miami. To Bogota from LAX is $500...is that a deal? It's a nonstop flight. The offer ends "in a day." UPDATE: The sale ends tomorrow, has a $300 change fee but is otherwise nonrefundable, and there is a 7 day minimum trip. You can go anytime until the end of April. Problem for me is I want to go to Medellin, not Bogota.

Hi guys! This is my second post in the blog and I’m lookin forward to read your advices and learn a little bit more lol. Currently for work I’m arriving to Havana each weekend, needless to say I’m enjoying myself a lot the city is beautiful and the vibe of the people is the best... However sometimes I’m need of dick and I heard Cubans are good when it comes to sex (hahaha). however I noticed that things have changed quite a bit from what I read on the forum, nowadays there’s no boys or pingueros hanging out at the malecón or at vedado, and parque central is basically dead, it seems that the “golden age” of picking up boys at the malecón or at Cine Yara is done …

Well having spent the month of January in Colombia I thought I would give an overall view on the country and some of the places I have had the pleasure of visiting. Colombia in general. I think it has a bad rep it no longer deserves, like anywhere in the world if you wander into the wrong part of town or go looking for trouble you will find it but a bit of advance research and you should be good to go. Dating apps are busy here and when you arrive in a new town and log in expect to be inundated with messages and 20 subsequent photos, which if you do not respond in 3 seconds receive ????. I have received many messages from a mix of guys from not my type, old…

Most people who visit sauna Lagoa in Sao Paulo agree that Wednesday and Friday are the best nights for a heavy turnout of available garotos. To use the Southern language of Jeff Sessions, t'aint so! Tonight is the first time that I actually left Lagoa early. I have been going there more than fifteen years. I left at 7:30 because the place was almost like an undiscovered tomb. I doubt if there were even fifteen guys there and they were not attractive, in my opinion. Even the client attendance was poor. As I was getting ready to leave I noticed the client locker area had clients preparing to leave (again at 7:30). Bottom line? Just…

  9. We frequent travellers to Brazil repeatedly hear from garotos and from Brasileiro friends telling us how wonderful and honest Bolsonaro is. We often read or hear on news media that Bolsonaro "will clean up crime and violence and stop corruption and bribes" - - Well, well, well - From reputable news reports, it appears that Bolsonaro's son could very well be guilty of taking bribes. Forty-eight unidentified and mysterious deposits of 2,000 reais each were deposited to his bank accounts within one month, some deposits were made by ATM. There were many other large sums paid but the defense of the large payments is that they were loan repayments - su…

  10. What do folks think: Argentina or Brazil for January 2019?? Have a chance to return to South America later this month I enjoyed Rio and could manage to speak some Portuguese by the time I left. I was thinking about Buenos Aires and maybe traveling to Bariloche or some other nice place. However, my Spanish is very poor and going to bed at 7pm, dinner at midnight and clubbing until 5am is not my usual routine ! Other than that, the idea of going to BA, etc seems exciting. As for the boys, from the internet posts it seems that places like 117 or 202 do not exist in BA. However lots of other opportunities to play with the locals or pay to play with folks (perhaps…

OK, I finished Bogota and ready for the report. I spent 3 days here before 5 in Medellin and now 2 days back before going home. I felt a duty to report on this little-known place and was determined to crack it's hard-to-penetrate shell. From worst to best: Neighborhoods: TEUSAQUILLO-- Just above downtown, from about 35th to 50th Calle, a trendy fashionable neighborhood with embassies and several universities. SAUNAS: CLUB BALTIMORE SAUNA Actually in a hotel (the Maria Isabel). Gets lots of mentions. That doesn't mean it's good. I went in and the entrance was outrageous- like $60 but I was assured it was worth it because they had A (as in one) masseur who was standin…

Unlike my favorite writer here, I have no new trips planned. I discount the venture to Raleigh as it is for a family wedding. (Not that I want to go looking). so, what does one do in Raleigh? Perhaps I will find the wherewithal to New York. We'll see. Where would you go if you could?

I've been watching round trip flights, and they suddenly dropped a few days ago. Round trip from New Orleans to Sao Paulo in April is currently just a little over $500. Also Austin, TX to Rio at the end of March or beginning of April..$609. Prices vary from day to day, and depending on specific dates. But $520 is the cheapest round trip I have ever seen, US-to-Brasil.

Hi Guys-- I am a 37 yo white guy heading to Rio for the first time in February and have a few questions for you guys... I am definitely SUPER pumped to hit up the saunas, but, as I have never been to remotely anything like this, being a small-town Midwestern guy--I was hoping those of you who have experience could answer a few questions: 1) I don't know ANY Portugese.... will I be ok? Should I hire a "guide" to come with me for the first time? 2) Do the summer months generally mean more or less guys at the saunas (I will be there BEFORE Carnival)? 3) I used to play football in college--but, I let myself go and am now a big/chub guy... Will this …

Photos posted on this site are being shared with sauna guys! There is a member here that has been doing it for at least 2 months. One of our regular posters was contacted while he was in Rio yesterday to say that the guy had seen the photo and even thou it did not show his face or him naked he was upset! This is the second time in the last 6 weeks this has happened. So it has to be a member on here who is doing itl I am going to stop posting period, and go back to sharing with guys I know personally and only correspond through email. there is always some jerk that ruins it for everyone else.

This post is fairly wordy and heavy on details, so it is not for everyone. But I hope this post is useful for anyone wanting to visit Brazil for the first time. Just a background, I’ve been a regular contributor to the GayThailand.com, having been a regular visitor to Bangkok up until recently. This was the post of my last trip in May: …

Of course we recorded videos of our sex-capades in rio.. Links are below. ENJOY!!!! I'm so thankful for this forum and it's content. Because of the posts I feel as though I've learned how to safely and effectively find what I want while visiting Rio. My husband and I were very excited to hit up Rio for New Year's eve because we'd heard so much about how the saunas are crowded and that there would be hot men all over the place. As i sit at my dining room table back in the states, I can truly say that this was the BEST NEW YEAR we spent together. We arrived in Rio around 10 a.m. on New Year's Day, Jan. 1st. Tired from the long flight from Florida, we decided to c…

  22. Day 0: The Setup So I can’t claim the term “newbie” anymore, as this would be my fourth trip to Brazil in 10 months. I do feel that I am not an expert yet, compared to some of you here. But I have gotten over my initial hang-ups with Brazil (dangerous, language barrier, samba overkill) and can honestly say that I am thoroughly comfortable with visiting the country and mixing it up with the locals. To clarify my three hang ups above: dangerous – I still think it is still pretty fucking dangerous, but one can manage the risks when one gets there; language barrier – Portuguese is still a difficult language to learn for me, but I am getting along faster than I thou…

There was a time (for about twelve years) when I visited Fragata sauna whenever I was in Sao Paulo. During those initial twelve years, I enjoyed Fragata sauna far more than I enjoyed Lagoa sauna on other days of the week when Lagoa supposedly was the best sauna ("in the world"). Traditionally, Tuesday nights and Sunday nights were the busiest days of the week to visit Fragata during those early years. On those nights, Fragata was often filled with magnificent/handsome looking garotos. Fun was had by one and by all. However, about three years ago the garoto and client turnout at Fragata dwindled and became hit and miss and the crowds were, patheti…

Direct flight to Rio today from Atlanta... Got in super early, was settled into the apartment by 9:30 am... Weather has been overcast all day but still some decent eye candy around the beaches... Walked around Copa earlier, got a drink and a massage and then walked around Ipanema later... Weather is decent but is definitely overcast which has put a stop to many of the gays on the beaches although I have seen tons... Will update on the saunas later...planning on hitting up Pointe in the next hour and then going to 117 if it is slow there...
