Not sure of the relevance of the topic title, I just like Monty Python..... So you are off to Brazil and you have mastered ativo ou passivo? Well, the fun doesn't have to end there, here are a few more, related phrases you might want to try out. You can try them one at a time....one boy at a time....or perhaps as a group. Whatever you decide enjoy the enrichment of learning a second language: Papai mamãe. Frango assado. De ladinho. De quatro. Em pé. Cavalgando.

Hey guys....I have enjoyed reading the various posts and find most of them very interesting...My experience has been extremely different...A little about me before I dive in.... I am in my early 30's and have been going to Rio since 2008. I was a college athlete and currently train regularly and know some Portuguese. I'm also African American.... I go to Rio because I love the culture and enjoy the sauna scene for exactly what it is....no strings fun....While I have been to both 117 and Pointe in Copacabana, I am looking forward to the newer one that has been mentioned in several of the posts... When I go to the saunas, I actually enjoy the steam rooms and the shower…

Pollution in Rio’s Guanabara Bay 2. The water and energy crisis 3. Olympic development is raising social tension 4. Street crime and public security I would still bet traffic is going to be a big issue...just saying! :-)

I moved your question about phones into a new thread because your question does not related to the price of garotos at dinner or overnight. It is called "hijacking" to bring up a new topic in an established thread. Provided your telephone is truly "unlocked" from your carrier, you should be able to buy and use a SIM card in Brazil. You can buy SIM cards on the street but I would advise against that . This is because you have to register the SIM card and you will not understand what is being asked of you while registering. Also, you probably do not have a CPF number which you would need if you try to register a street purchased SIM card. Alternatively, you can go…

Rio de Janerio I don't remember if these links have been provided in the past, but for someone who has never been to Rio before they offer some general advise, information and things to see on your first trip. plus some good photos of different sights. http://www.gayrio4u.com/ http://www.riogayguide.com/ Porto Alegre There is a 8 page glossy folded gay business/map/bar/sauna listing brochure for Porto Alegre but I cannot find it on the web, I picked it up about a year ago at one of the bars and it's very good, I will see if it's possible to scan it in a way that I can print it on here.

I receive e-mails and phone calls from friends who live in Brazil or visit Brazil fairly often. These friends occasionally fly on weekends both from Santos Dumont (in Rio) and/or from Congonhas (in Sao Paulo) to Porto Alegre. During the past few months, even though they travel with a small carry on and use either TAM and GOL airlines, two of my friends were required to check their small bag that would easily fit in an over head bin or under a seat. For those who travel to Brazil, has this happened to anyone here lately? It has never happened to me. However, I will be returning to Brazil at the end of the month and do not like the idea of having to check a carry …

  9. As if there was not already a massive outcry over the huge Petrobras scandal, Brazil's "Internal Revenue Service" is also involved in a nasty scandal involving billions of local currency. This likely means that the Brazilian Real will sink even farther than it has so far during the past year. It won't be long before we are getting at least 4 - 1 in currency exchange. Here is an article that discusses the problem and the scandal: http://riotimesonline.com/brazil-news/rio-business/tax-scandal-may-cost-brazil-billions-in-revenues/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+TheRioTimes+%28The+Rio+Times%29

From the London Telegraph, U.K. ... Osmar Paiva Camelo, who was a retired military police sergeant, was reportedly killed for supporting the pacification process to seize back control from drug gangs in Complexo da Maré, close to Rio's international airport. Despite being occupied by 2,700 troops since April last year in the run up to the World Cup, shoot-outs and deaths in Maré have continued. Earlier this week, military police began to take over security operations from soldiers. However, as the city builds towards next year's Olympic and Paralympic Games, Maré residents are disillusioned with the security forces and the climate as tense as ever. "It's going t…

  11. Today’s Rio Times reports that a Dutch transport technology company used GPS to track and compute 146 major cities of the world to determine how cities rank traffic wise with traffic congestion. Again, for the second consecutive year, Rio ranks number three for having the worst traffic. Worse, even than Sao Paulo - One line in the article grabbed my attention where it states: “Residents of Rio de Janeiro lose a hundred hours per year on average stuck in traffic.” Remember, the above statement applies NOW - Before the Olympic start next year. This study and confirmation cannot bode well for next year’s Olympic games. Here is a link to the full article: http…

  13. If anyone plans to go to Brazil for the 2016 Olympics and is concerned about finding housing or a place to stay, the esteemed Airbnb housing agency plans to find 20,000 rooms for about 380,000 visitors. All I can say about their plans and expectations is "good luck" in over crowded Rio. Here is a link to an article that discusses the matter: http://riotimesonline.com/brazil-news/rio-real-estate/airbnb-strikes-deal-with-rio-olympics-to-host-tourists/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+TheRioTimes+%28The+Rio+Times%29 Maybe they will pull it off, maybe not.

  14. For those not interested in sex, can anyone share any experiences hiring hot Brazilian guys for massages with mutual touch, or strippers for private dances with touching? Do the go-go dancers at clubs allow touching for tips? I'm not interested in escorts who will massage or dance if asked, but rather the boy next door straight types who may not go as far as an escort, but would allow their muscles to be explored for the right price.

  15. Started by wncdemcub,

I read a lot of posts about hiring a guide. Beyond the non-sexual visiting the spots that the tourist should see, how does a guide work in relation to your experiences meeting guys. Do they go to the saunas with you? Arrange guys to meet at your hotel. What would the cost be for this? I'm exploring a trip to both Sao Paulo and Rio.

  16. Hey question here.... If i invited garoto from sauna to come with me for a dinner, how much should I pay him ? and if he come to your hotel for overnite how much is avg rate ? Thanks guys, I will be in Rio this coming Friday and can't wait !!!

  17. I love this video and in scene 2 there is a great top and bottom. I want to know both but I like the top the most with his hot piercings. Does he work in any sauna? Do you know where I can find him, hire him and marry him to bring to America? http://boytoyvideo.com/dispatcher/movieDetail?movieId=180704&locale=en&theaterId=73833&genreId=102

  19. Despite what I heard or read about Sao Paulo garoto prices increasing, I must disagree. About one year ago, there was an effort (of sorts) for garotos at Lagoa to inflate their asking price. The effort failed, for the most part. My own personal experience and the experience of others at Lagoa support my observation that garoto prices at Lagoa have not increased over the past few years. Asking prices increased for a short period but that did not last. On the other hand, I did notice that the official taxi company at Sao Paulo's international airport increased its "fixed" fares. The fixed fare from the airport - GRU to the area of Morumbi was about R$150 and to th…

This video is supposedly from this year's Carnival, but it could just as easily be from any night that Tomcal is in town..... Many of the boys are sauna boys and/or are typical of what you will find in the Brazilian saunas http://www.xvideos.com/video10813255/baile_de_carnaval_hb_2015_wmv_v8

My plans to spend the weekend in Porto Alegre last Friday afternoon got disrupted due to heavy rains and flooded streets in Sao Paulo, where I had been staying for about two weeks. No taxi or bus could make its way to the local airport, without extreme delays, through the heavy floods that were in different parts of the city. The local airport in Sao Paulo (Congonhas) was operational but countless numbers of passengers were not able to get to the airport to make flights because of flooded streets. For those passengers who could make it to the airport, the flights left with them. For those who could not make it in time at the airport, the flights left without them. …

I was wondering if any of you guys know of some areas to meet escorts on the street? I know that near LeBoy it is possible, and also at the gay beach stands, but are there any other places where hookers hang out looking for trade in Rio? Thanks! James

  25. Started by mvan1,

Some or most visitors to Brazil prefer to visit the many rent boi saunas in order to make a "hook up" with a hustler. On the other hand, just in case you are an internet type person who prefers to hire from web ads, rather than in a sauna or elsewhere, here is a Brazil web site that might be to some liking: http://www.garotolandia.com.br/ Unless you speak and understand Portuguese, you will most likely have a problem contracting with the guys advertising on that site. Some guys speak English or have a friend who can help with the communication, but most do not. Therefore, it can be frustrating to try meeting a garoto from a web address even though some people prefer…
