Despite my knowing that Thursday is generally not a busy night at Lagoa, I got talked into going there last night. It was an absolute waste of time, effort and money to go there. There were some garotos in attendance but (in my opinion) very few good looking ones. The clients out numbered the garotos by at least two to one. That inverted ratio tends to cause the garotos to become a bit aggressive and nagging about taking them to a room. I stayed only a couple of hours due to the composition of the sauna. Well my once in a lifetime Brasil summer trip approaches. Two weeks in Rio, two nights in Porto Alegre and one night in Sao Paulo. I will get to try Lagoa for one night which is nice. The apartment was expensive so I guess this will be my only Brasilian summer trip. I don't expect i will post daily reports, keeping postings to observations as to what has changed since last September. The R$ has reached 4.3 to the £ but sunk back a bit, how low will it go i wonder?

I went to Meio Mundo this past Monday, I was in the city and debating whether or not I even wanted to go. What convined me was that they were going to have some type of Bingo with a grand prize game of 3000Reais. I thought this would bring out lots of boys and clients. Wrong! I got there at about 4:15. Finally it's that time of the year again. Waiting for my flight to Rio for my 4th trip to South America. Other than a few small hikes, this will be a more narrowly focused trip for me. I have a bias for São Paulo and POA over Rio, but the flight to Rio turns out to be cheaper, and I do want to do a couple hikes like Pedra Bonita. I booked a trip to Brazil for Mid January. Porto Alegre/Rio/Sao Paulo or more specifically Mezziniu-Bar Mixx/Meo Mundo-117/ and Lagoa! For the first time I have already pre-booked all my overnights, and my afternoon apartment/hotel visits for the entire trip! lol That leaves 5:00 to 9:00 pm each night for meeting new guys at the saunas or at the hustler bar in Porto Alegre. Most of the guys are on Facebook so i use that to stay in touch and set up the "dates". Was in Rio last week end.
