Going to BKK for a month in Jan-Feb and would like some advice on other good places to go....not cultural but for night/bed fun. I've been to PP Cambodia (was ok), Taiwan, China, Pattaya, Chiang Mai. I'm looking for someplace that will be inexpensive to go to/from within Thailand or closeby. A German friend that lives in BKK (for MANY years) says he doesn't go to gogo bars or Discos gets all his hookups on apps....he said I'd like Ubon. Any input/ideas/suggestions? Thanks

I hardly check this site much anymore..... But (remember, this is my opinion).... Cuba sucks now.... I was there before, during and after the death of Fidel.....Like Tom Said, been going FAITHFULLY for about 15-17 yrs. I've dealt with all the shit that goes on there that doesn't happen any other place in the world.....but think I had my last trip. I understand not every guy will be my type....but recognize when someone is cute, handsome or attractive in some other way....they have mostly left to Spain, s. America, etc... since Cuba did away with the Carta Blanca (the exit permit) a few years back. Even walking the streets during the day, I am hard pressed to find someone that I think is cute. Sex use to be a guaranteed success....now you're lucky if they can get hard and boy are they full of excuses. Granted $20 is still cheap, but by the time they empty out your fridge and have ideas of going shopping through your closet for what they like.....just gets tiring and old. Plus the police crack downs WHENEVER they feel like it. If anyone has been on this board or the old Hoo Boy site will know I was always praising Cuba.....those days are gone. I'm pretty well known around town, to waiters, bartenders (don't pay for drinks at the Hotel Nacional), taxi drivers, police....the boys come and go....many have died (HIV is more rampant than they would let on) For price, availability, variety and horniness, there are many places in Mexico I prefer....Brasil is just so damn expensive, getting there, taxis, sauna entrances, restaurants,apartments or hotels.....I LOVE Brasil but the per diem is too high for me. Thailand is fun too, but it is on the other side of the world, boys charge more than Brasil or Mexico....is a big world, a friend was just in Santiago, DR and has been raving about it.

I love Thailand and go at least once a year...have been there as many as 4-6 times a year......love the food (and the FF miles). But with these prices....if you've never been to Brasil.....oh my

Any recommendations ? I did this years ago but don't remember with which place. I wrote a top rated place on Tripadvisor and their rates seem high and don't include transportation. Can't believe TomCal said he'd go with me.....

Funny thing, I met Rodolpho walking down the street one night in Bangkok..... I asked wtf was he doing in Thailand, he owns one of the most famous saunas in the world know for big dick (he's def into size)..... he told me not to worry, the guy with him was the winner of the big cock show at one of the gogo bars, lol

That's the hotel I usually stay at in SP..... if you are going to either sauna during rush hours where there is a lot of traffic, I'd use public transportation and Uber to get back to the hotel. I like both saunas, am kinda well known,lol.......I prefer the guys at Fragata though. If you are into muscle and sometimes attitude, Laogoa is better for that, my opinion. ANYTIME I've had problems in SP, is when I've decided to go to discos or bars late at night....alcohol and late nights in Brasil don't mix well. I usually have my fun at either sauna, go eat after sometimes invite a guy from the sauna to come to the hotel with me, and we drink there. Went to the Chili pepper one time..... nice place, but the saunas spoil you by being able to have what you want, like a kid in a candy store.

Like Jay, I saw where the story was going...... I've been going to Cuba for about 17 yrs. The "Golden" years are gone, I see a decline in quantity/quality on every trip. I have a couple of regulars that I've ended up on my last 2 trips....although when making my plans, I hope to find some new ones...hans't worked out that way. Seems like the good ones have left the island or into more capitalist regular paying jobs....

I vote for save your miles and pay the extra on Eva Air Elite Class/Premium Economy. Almost biz class without the expense.... From LAX-BKK is showing 1345 r/t from LAX in November... double the price of their economy tix. I agree with Gaybutton, find the best price and call to see if they can beat it. Just be aware of the booking class and see if you'll earn miles and weigh the difference. I have never used miles to BKK, it just seems a long way to go without getting miles in return, lol

remember there will be more people eligible for those upgrades now as well.... just like what happened with all the airline mergers

I agree... if you think along the line of the "Big Mac" index or like I do, the cost of a coconut (really)...the current true value of the BRL is 5-1 usd

guys I talked to on grindr are asking 200 reis.... I think there was a typo in an earlier post.... 100 reals is $27 usd, going price in a sauna,,,,and been asked for 150 to come back to my room for overnight, both in SP and Rio

Copa has had service from their USA gateways to Cuba (via PTY) for over a year now. All you need to do is fill out an online affidavit that you qualify for travel to Cuba under current law. United, Jetblue or whoever gets approval to fly to Cuba will have to do the same thing until the travel ban is completely lifted/changed.

Copa (Star Alliance) already offers flights from USA with connections in Panama ....not Charter service, miles and upgrades apply. All you have to do is fill out an online affidavit that you "qualify" under one of the allowed reasons.

Just back from Havana... in Cancun now. Been going for about 17 yrs, well known to the Police and the Bartenders, taxi drivers, etc...not sure if that's a good thing or not, lol I forgot that Jan/Feb can be chilly & windy and many of the guys return to their provinces (someone said that tourism has been expanding outside of Havana and a lot of the guys prefer to look for "work" closer to home) Anyway, I had an OK time, too many queeny guys this trip for me and guys saying they do this and that (all talk and no action) so I stay away from that kind. Good report.... 11 days and I was READY to get out of Cuba.....but looking forward to Brasil with Tomcal in March ;-)

I still don't understand how ANYONE that travels doesn't use them, cheaper plans, free texting back to USA, Free unlimited 3G data roaming in over 100 countries, in Mex & Canada free calls within those countries and to USA..... their CEO is insane (in a good way).... I follow him on Twitter and he loves shaking things up....

I disagree that ALL the smiles and chit chat are fake... if you are a genuinely nice person and interesting, real friendships can be formed.... not with all the boys, but it happens. I'm in touch with several guys that either were working boys or workers at the saunas and here we are 15 yrs later and we still talk/message. Tomcal too is a really nice guy (sometimes) and he too has some of the similar friendships. I also go to restaurants, hotels, flights and like someone else mentioned Dr's & Lawyers.... all there for your money, paid to be nice....but friendships can be formed if there is a chemistry or similar interests. The public toilet comment eludes me

I know guys that do more than just touching/showing in the saunas.... however whether in a room or these "public" spaces, they expect to be paid.... in the rentboy saunas. Lagoa: in the steamroom, bathrooms, pool/jacuzzi, video room Fragata: Steamroom, video room, out back upstairs where guys go to smoke (if no one else is there) and in the bathroom stalls. in Rio.... anywhere in Tomcals apt. also, there are many "non rentboy" saunas & sexclubs that public sex happens....Blackout club, chili pepper, UpGrade, Wild Thermas Club and also the gay Cinemas. Won't find the quality of guys (in my opinion) or the option of just picking someone and they'll go.... be prepared for unwanted advances and your advances being ignored..... is a lot more work, lol

Yeah, I disagree.... the boys have seen and done things that would make your head spin. I hang out with the guys and we talk alot....about EVERYTHING.... you are right, many (not all) of the boys talk about clients and their likes/dislikes, but how many guys say they are ONLY TOP but then when in the room alone are willing to do everything. They say that to save face in public.
