  1. I appreciate all the helpful replies; many thanks!
  2. I have lived in Thailand a long time, no need to work and still enjoy a good gay life. However what with the recent bridge club fiasco and other issues I am considering whether there are other countries that may be able to offer an alternative place to live.... Any suggestions and why? What about the Philippines or Malaysia? Thanks any input!
  3. My view: sounds likely X on "something", perhaps YB hence causing the aggressive behavior. I assume the tip was paid. My experience is that such an attitude from X can be as a result of drug taking, then again I am no expert, and many will be on "substances" with no outward signs etc
  4. Thank you brall3 for an interesting topic on this web site. In my opinion the boy was not only being disrespectful to the older farang but also disloyal. I cannot abide disloyalty so my reaction would be far more dramatic than what actually occurred.
  5. My answer was directed to the question about COPA and the underwater show. Of course the only underwater show at Cupidol may be when there is excess flooding!
  6. Yes- the underwater show is back. Quite good and skilful. No more boys on the stage but the cabaret show that starts @ 11.00pm right after the water show is first rate and very professional.
  7. My tip: Make sure you have medical insurance to cover you for any emergency etc when in Thailand.
  8. I also would recommend Phuket especially Patong Beach. But if you want it quieter can find some resorts away from Patong but with access to it. I stayed in Phuket last month (June). Even though raining on a few days, there is plenty to do in the day and at night. There are some great beaches and many excellent seafood restaurants. The night life whilst not on a par with BKK or Pattaya is vibrant with more than enough to choose from.

  10. Whilst a little bit pricier and not quite central south Pattaya, you would be very comfortable here if they have any rooms available: http://www.theresidencegarden.com/en/

    BAR CHARGES

This past weekend I went to Dream Boy in BKK. The drink charge is now 400B, the off fee is 650B, and the minimum fee to the boy is 2,500B. The place was packed on Saturday and Sunday nights, with mainly Asians customers. (Quote from brall 3 above) -These prices are in my view ridiculous. It is catering for and aimed at the Asian market. If they are stupid enough to pay these amounts then more fool them. As said by Richard they have no qualms spending 10,000 or more per night. Hence less farangs in the bars in BKK, and more in Pattaya where the prices have not yet reached outrageous levels.
  12. Some very interesting replies to my post, so thanks to everyone. I do not, nor should I have any problem with the gender of any customer in the bars providing they have no problem with me. However as Christian rightly says: "Unacceptable behaviour (the loud-mouthed Chinese females, getting on the stage; and the Thai staff moving other customers to the side). " My group had the best seats in the house but we were asked to move to inferior seating just to accommodate the Chinese plus we were there to look at guys on stage not a bunch of short time tourists taking over the dancing! Of course if I am ever again asked to move in any bar(except for good reason) I will not move but pay up and leave immediately. To answer the question by Aussiebi14: I do not know if any of the boys were offed as when the conga started with the noise levels reaching ear splitting level, I and my group paid up and escaped. Thank u anoone for your helpful suggestions for other bars.
  13. The discrimination was that the gay customers were ordered to move aside to allow the chinese to occupy most of one side of the bar; then the boys were ordered off the stage to let the screaming women to take over the stage and dance as shown in the photo. I wonder if I and a group of other gays went to a go go bar in walking street and ordered the girls off the stage, and my group started to gyrate on the stage instead....how would the straight customers react?!
  14. Willie: do not dispute most of what you say. Maybe you or anyone else here can suggest where in Pattaya there is a gay bar which is not at risk of being invaded by females in their hordes. Or is it the case that you say there are no gay bars in Pattaya?
  15. Last night I was enjoying myself with some others in Toy Boy, when suddenly a large group of loud mouthed Chinese females-led by a tour operator- barge into the bar, take over almost one side of the place and start screaming non stop as they consume their beer bottles and command boys of their choosing come down and sit with them. To make way for the rabble, regular gay customers are shunted to the side lines, most of whom decide to pay up and leave. The bitches get louder and louder and even try to pinch boys already sitting with customers. Some of them order the stage to be cleared to parade themselves on it as shown below. By this time most of the gays already in the bar have left and several other potential gay customers who had come to the bar entrance once they see what is going on inside the bar conclude, rightly, to go elsewhere. When these females decide it is time to do a conga around the bar, it is well past the time for my group to get out. Is there no where safe for us gays?!
  16. OP: Very enjoyable post, so keep us entertained. Especially more detail about the "blah blah blah"!

    Koh Samet

OP: Ko Samet, in my view, is good for a day out, or at best 1 night. Difficult to find gay scene there, so if you decide to go to KS and stay for any length of time bring someone with you. But take heed of what travellerdave says re the "stare factor." Agree what others say above re Phuket. Far better for what you want than Ko Samet. Easy to get there by air.
  18. http://www.andrew-drummond.com/2014/07/briton-who-abused-boy-at-point-of-gun.html I am pasting this for information only as its' Thai related and reports on someone who got away with his sordid behavior in Thailand but has now received what he deserves elsewhere. Good riddance!
  19. "So I took off one of the boys I knew of old and after our going out drinking and playing pool in a lady boy bar until 4.30am or so we went home and had GREAT sex until 2pm today" -Wow. 9 and a half hours of great sex. Who is superman ? And who has the sore rear end?!
  20. http://www.page10hotel.com/ -Some straights I know tell me this is a good centrally located hotel though I am unsure how gay friendly it is.
  21. OP: can't you tell us the name of the dentist/clinic concerned? A few years back I was in BKK and had some dental work done at a clinic there. It was so bad I had to travel down to Pattaya twice to get Dr Tappasit to remove the offending work and replace it. Dr T said the work was so bad(pictures taken) the dentist doing it ought to be struck off.
  22. A friend just called me to say that the Bitch Forum is gone. I looked for it and it seems to be off line. Does anyone know what has happened?
  23. OP: This really is a marvelous report so well done indeed. it is highly entertaining and informative. The links and illustrations are useful and appropriate. Congrats!
  24. Being scammed by a B/F is not unique to you. Assuming you are genuine tell us your story in detail as there are plenty of astute posters here who can give their opinion.
