  1. (Sorry a bit late) But still needs to be asked....: So, you got bigger out of Thailand??? Just saying!!
  2. Great lesson in dealing with mamasans! We all need to remember that one for sure! Thanks Numazu!
  3. Faranglaw And thanks so much for giving me an ear worm for the rest of the day of one of the stupidest songs of the last century! Maybe so but, hell, did I dance on that song!
  4. Only speculation that is left is how many boys it will ne that night! Yaaayyy we are back on topic!
  5. (Sorry for the digression Numazu but it needs to be answered) -Your psychobabble, steveboy, is just a way to try to hide that you are moralizing -You can't "DESCRIBE" someone you have not met -I know why I want to bash and, without going as high as "troll", the reason is the majority of your posts are just nags, annoyances and bothers. If you were keeping to the thread of the threads (!) your "commenting" would then be "like any member here is free to do." If you feel you need to answer me, please do so in a PM so that Numazu can get back to his report which we enjoy waaaayyy more. Regards
  6. Great report Eurasian.... Aren't we all dreaming of asian boys??
  7. Good report Eurasian and very well written. Along witg Numazu's report it make me want to make Cambodia next hop from Thailand. Looking forward to your next days adventures
  8. Blue Karma Resort is a good choice as it is gay-rated by Gay Travel Asia and I can confirm it is gay frienfly, habibg stayed there last December. Details at: http://www.gaythailand.com/forums/topic/10456-trip-report-bali/page-2
  9. Welcome back Numazu. And if not possible to meet in Bangkok in the near future, maybe in Mexico as I will be there end of June, beginning of July!
  10. Gay Travel Asia say it is the Atlantis sauna that was raided; https://www.travelgayasia.com/jakarta-gay-saunas/ Having been at the Millenium Sirih hotel, the other gym/sauna mentionned in that webpage is well equiped and the pool is nice. I can't say if the sauna is good or if there is some "action" going on as I did not go in but considering it is a busy "regular" hotel I doubt there is much going on
  11. Was not asked abt the 20k on my entries in Thailand. Change I leave for maid or a boxes in airport. Large bill will pay for food at airport.
  12. Maybe a sixth sense made me not go to the sauna last December when in Jakarta but it was really lack of time. On the other hand, Indonesia has Bali which can still show homosexuality brings advantages like the pink tourist dollars. This is why, as we are getting into the season of the remembrances of the fights for our rights, Stonewall being its inception, that Pride festivals are still important and necessary. Hopefully, while the raid in Jakarta is not acceptable, it can spark the same in Indonesia. All Prides this year should mention of this event in their programs.
  13. I do not know about guides going for sex after the tour but one thing for sure Siamroads guides are good at what they do.
  14. I always had good service and good cars while using thelimopattaya. Well recommended
  15. It was getting to the point it was no fun to read any posts. Can we just go back to giving information about hotels, restaurants, food, bars, boys, beaches, tourist sights and places? And add pictures to make it more informative and enjoyable? Which are the reasons this site is interesting. We will never ALL agree on our preferences, be it lodging, food, men or sexual position. So there are no reasons to make one preference better than the other guy and make it into a posting fight. Let's go back to being happy and envious (!) of the person having fun in Thailand and appreciative of the time taken out of their limited time to posts their stories here. That is, until the time each of us can go back and take the time to post our own trip report again. Yes, bomb throwing is acceptabe, but let it be on the joyful side and not on the war to posts side.
  16. In fact Numazu, since you were in that part of the world just now; Mexico used to celebrate it as well. It was called Sabado de Gloria (Gloria Saturday) which is the day of Easter when the baptism into the Catholic Church happens or is renewed. Since the baptism is done with Holy water i was given by the priests to the worshippers to bring home and baptism again their family and friends. From there the shooting of water on everyone. But considering the geological problems of Mexico City being built over a lake and (quoted from History.com); "Mexico city is sinking because people are thirsty. The city has sunk dozens of feet in the last 60 years because 70 percent of the water people rely on is extracted from the aquifer below. This has caused buildings to lean and sink into the ground at a rate of up to one foot a year in the most extreme places." So, the city has made it illegal to have those water fights in order not to waste any water. Anyone caught having those fights will be fined about 140.00 USD.
  17. Welcome back Numazu. Looking forward to your next post. And thanks Paulsf for the counsel on the alternative posting! That way Numazu can post on Puerto Vallarta and I can complete with other information plus of other parts of Mexico. (I live there quite some time) I did not before because I was too afraid to angry the "you'r posting in the wrong thread" police (!) In any case Numazu, you are right; there is "a huge world out there" and we should be able to talk about it. And instead of having to build a "thick skin" we should take a breath or 2 and if snipping is still on our mind at least let it be humorous and positive. After all, we are writing about the Land of Smiles not the Land of the Bitches...
  18. Which of the 2 beaches did you prefer Abang?
  19. Data is not only on 80%. The analysis is made on the following: OAG must have received data for at least 80% of scheduled flights operated by an airline. In fact, most of it is based on more than 95%. See attached chart indicating how much coverage the data is based on. (The column got removed when I did the first post. My bad)
  20. Here is how OAG calculates the results; The league is based on approximately 54 million flight records using full-year data from 2016 to showcase the best performers in an expanded range of categories. To qualify for inclusion in the OAG Punctuality League, the OAG schedules database must have data for at least 80% of all scheduled flights operated by an airline or for an airport. • OAG’s definition of on-time performance (OTP) is a flight that arrives or departs within 14 minutes and 59 seconds (under 15 minutes) of its scheduled arrival/departure time. • Cancellations are also included. • The minimum threshold for airports is 2.5m one-way seats. Airports include arriving and departing OTP. • The minimum threshold for airlines is the Top 200 by annual Available Seat Kilometres (ASKs). Airline OTP is for arrivals only. • In this report, a ‘record’ is defined as a flight for which we either have a ‘code’, or an actual time of arrival (and departure in the case of airports), and this year includes cancelled services. OTP data is not included for other categories of flights, such as charter or non-passenger operations. The other thing is that it is easier for Hawaiin Airlines to be on time with 90,490 flights than Delta with just under 1,9 million flights but still get a 84.29% accuracy. You can get an interactive dashboard at; http://www.oag.com/pl-dashboard Overall for both major and low-cost carriers it give this and you see the number of flights for each;.
  21. Sorry about that. Excel file does not paste very well!! So here in picture! For pricing and flight schedules kayak.com is also good. OAG (provider of aviation schedules, flight status and analytics) just published their 2016 On-time performance (OTP) results for airlines and airports. Here are the results;
  22. For pricing and flight schedules kayak.com is also good.
