If a boy finds himself in such a gogo bar, as an adult, he needs to take control of the situation and move himself to another bar.
My last off from Fresh Boys had been there 5 days, after moving from Classic Boys where the evil mamasans asked for 2000 baht after he went home on holiday.
So some of them do have the balls to deal with despicable mamasans.
I believe the gogo boy, whom i got the info from, has no choice because he is a Viet boy. There might be other arrangement that the bar had made with him. Or he might have overexaggerated his hardship to me.
Anyway, i am happy to have met him.

Excellent trip report, Vinapu! I rememeber seeing Mekhin when I visited Jupiter last March. Glad to find out that he is professional. I was also intimidated by his presence when i saw him. Now will be willing to at the very least invite him for drink and chat when i go again (tentatively March). I just hope he doesn't get taken away quickly!

My Bangkok trip report (friday 23 dec to wed 28 dec)
Day 1
Arrived at airport. Massive jams. Soi cowboy in evening with my str8 friends. Late at nite went on my own to Dreamboys. Off a Thai boy.
Day 2
Patpong gogo bar with my frens. At nite went to Xboys on my own. Very good show. Off Viet boy.
Day 3
Xboys. Saw Viet boy. He asked me to off him. I told him tomorrow. I off a Thai boy. Viet boy looked really down.
Day 4
Xboys, As promised, paid bar fine for Viet boy. But a thai boy caught my eye. No choice. A promise is a promise. Off Viet boy. Got to know him well thru the nite. Exchanged line.
Day 5
Distracted whole day chatting on line with viet boy while i was out at shopping malls with my str8 friends. Really enjoy talking to him. He asked me to off him again but i desperately wanted the thai boy.
We agreed on compromise. I paid bar fines for both thai and viet boy. I requested viet boy dress up but wait at bar for me while i took thai boy back to hotel for short time.
After finishing with thai boy, went back to bar for viet boy. We didn't go hotel. We just walked street together and chatted. We had dinner. Whenever one of us couldn't understand what the other was saying, we use google translator to translate english to vietnamese and vice versa. Passed by a massage shop. Went in for thai body massage, side by side being massaged by two thai ladies. Felt like a couple.
Viet boy wanted to go hotel with me for long time. I said no. No sex as i oredi had short time with thai boy earlier. I don't know why but i told viet boy,"no sex. You friend. I like you. Was in bangkok over christmas weekend and went to both girl gogo bar (with my str8 friends) and boy gogo bar (on my own)

- boy earns nothing from drinks
- boy earns nothing from bar fine
- boy must give 300 bht to mamasan from short time fee that he earns
Girl gogo
- girl earns 80 baht from 180 drinks (40%)
Couldn't find out more from girl gogo about bar fine and amount to give back to mamasan bekoz i didn't proceed further than drinks with girl gogo
Anyone who can confirm?
Once i found out that boy gogo didn't earn anything from drinks, i stopped buying drinks (on my last night). I gave tips instead.

You are right! Xboys has one hell of a show! So much better than Dreamboys. There are genuinely talented dancers at Xboys and they perform with a smile. And drinks is cheaper too at 400 baht.
Last night had a great view. Seated facing the front of the stage. Watched the whole show. Full house. Some VIPs came halfway thru the show and the mamasans, waiters and gogo bars took turns to say hi to the VIPs. Must be big time spenders.
Me. I was contented with my one drink. Sat next to an Englishman. After the show, we agreed it was a good show and cheers, merry christmas with our drinks.
Bar off is 500 baht. I brought back a vietnamese boy for short time. 21 years old. Work at Xboys for one month. Nice smile and handsome face.

Great report! I am in bangkok till wednesday but with my straight friends. I shall try to go to x boys one of these nights.
Just arrived at bangkok from singapore yesterday. Massive queues and traffic jam. Accompanied my friends to Soi Cowboy. Prices there so affordable compared to gay gogo bars.Tilac drinks were 90 baht during happy hour until 9pm. Popular because it was featured in the movie Hangover 2. Then we went to Baccara which was full house koz so many girls. Drinks at 180 baht each. My friends called it a night at 10 and went back to hotel.
Once back at Tawana Bangkok, i freshened up then went off on my own to Dreamboys. Full house. Drinks at 480 baht each! Show was rather slapstick unfortunately. I prefer to watch shows with dance choreography and happy smiling performers (which is why i always enjoyed Classic). Managed to find a cute boy. He said he's 19 and just started working at Dreamboys for 2 months. Good short time fun at hotel. Paid him 2000 baht and even gave him 100 baht for taxi home.

Day 3 (Monday)
Woke up, had breakfast, took BTS to Central. Shopping and sightseeing. Thrilled to know that there's a Madame Tussaud at a shopping centre. Went in, had lots of fun looking at the wax figures and taking photos. After shopping, back to Surawong. Lunch at Japanese restaurant which had huge advertisements proclaiming its spicy and yummy chicken wings. Went in, ordered the wings and agreed it was really that good. Back to hotel to rest.

At 11pm, I told boy that I wanted to go to another show. He seemed reluctant but agreed and we went out to X Boys. He had been to all the other shows on Soi Twilight.

Day 2 (Sunday)
Purposely woke up by 8am for hotel breakfast then took BTS to Chatuchak. Amazing place. So many stalls and such variety! Could have stayed there whole day. Unfortunately made the mistake of buying some bulky stuff early during the shopping trip (2 exquisitive wooden bowls and a handmade laptop bag) so could not continue shopping while carrying so many things. Shopped till noon before arms just got too tired lugging the purchases. Headed out to main road to grab a taxi to go back to hotel.
Took tuk tuk to Arena massage. DIdn't realise it was near. Could have just walked there. Arena was located at top floor of an old shopping complex. The entrance of the massage place had a gym for the massage boys to work out. Manager offered me a drink and sat me down while I made my choice. Stayed at Raya Surawong. Nice hotel next to Soi Twilight. Mostly Japanese guests. Booked a standard room but was upgraded to a deluxe room because all standard rooms were fully booked. Deluxe room is spacious. King sized bed with TV. There is also a separate living room with a sofa and another TV. Best of all, the toilet has a glass shower which can be seen from living room!
Day 1 (Saturday) - Arrived in afternoon on Thai Airways. Took taxi to hotel. Checked in. Rested awhile then went out to Sala Deang BTS to take train to Asok BTS to go to Banana massage. Had a hard time walking there from Asok BTS. Ended up in Soi Coyote, which is full of girly go-go bars! But after walking around, finally reached Banana. Owner was very friendly. The boys were seated on second floor. Picked a handsome boy for one-hour massage. Classy place and well-decorated. Lots of ambience in the individual massage rooms. Shower was huge.
