Planning to visit BKK in November. And I am taking my young friend, 23 yo, from the Philippines for his first trip overseas. I have asked him what he wants to experience in BKK. He is a bit shy so I have to push him to tell me. I asked about massage and he said YES YES. Then I asked him about massage with a happy ending. And he surprised me by saying SURE. So I plan to take him to Arena. I will leave it to him to pick the guy. But I am wondering how he should talk to the mamasan about what he expects. I know my friend is ONLY TOP. And I think he may just be happy with a HJ or Samoking Any suggestions??
  3. So this is in your Home Country, not in Thailand???
  4. Whale shark watching in Oslib is amazing. But it has been commercialized!! They take out about 15 people in a boat and you have only 25 minutes to jump in the water and see the huge whales!! If you go to the far north, to Malapascua Island you can have a more leisurely swim the sharks!! Even better if you are a Scuba Diver!! I have not been there myself, but many Pinoy guys I know like to go there on there school holidays. They just stay on the beach... So check it out!! http://www.malapascua.com.ph/index.html I did make a trip from Cebu City down to Dumaguete. You can stay at one of the Resorts along the coast. We stayed directly across from Apo Island and hired a pump boat took a day trip there. You can snorkle within the Marine Reserve with a paid guide. Or you can hire a boat and go scuba diving in the area outside the Reserve. In either case it is amazing to see the huge sea turtles!! http://wikitravel.org/en/Apo_Island
  5. And no Festival would be complete without getting pics of some handsome guys... I chased the last one around for 4 days. He has a stall near the parade route. Finally got to talk to him. And he was STRAIGHT... So sad!!
  6. Every City or Town in the Philippines has it's own Festival. Most are around the end of January, like Mardi Gras in New Orleans. And they are generally to celebrate Santo Nino or Sto. Nino, the Child Jesus. If you want to read more about the many Festivals around this religious figure, you can look here... http://www.sunstar.com.ph/bacolod/lifestyle/2016/01/28/history-sto-nino-festivals-454155 But there are other Saints that get their own Feast Days or Festivals. I have never gotten to the Mother of All Sto. Nino Festivals, Sinulog, in Cebu City. It goes on for 5-7 days. And features Parades, Dance Competitions between Local Groups, Amazing costumes, Mass at the Santo Nino Church, and even a Boat Parade and Blessing. However, I have not been brave enough to deal with the huge crowds. And of course there are LOTS of Partying all week. The guys paint their faces, wear beads, crowns, and enjoy the days and nights in the Clubs!! I have gone to two Festivals. The first was in the City of Kalibo, on the Island of Panay. It is the Ati-atihan Festival of Aklan. The Ati are supposed to be the ingenuous peoples of the Philippines. They are also Negro. And that is celebrated in the Festival along with, you guessed it, Sto Nino!! There are days of Parades by local groups. All with amazing elaborate costumes! A Mass at the Cathedral. And on the final day, all of the locals come out carrying their statues of Sto. Nino to be blessed. I will try to post a few pics here. The last pic is my friend from Manila who took me there. The other Festival I went to was in General Santos City, in the far south of Mindanao. It is named Kalilangan. It was a bit calmer than the one in Kalibo. Again, Parades, Mass, Markets, and lots of fun. I went there with two of my guys you can see them in the last pic. So if you plan a trip to the Phils, be sure to try to take in one of these Festivals. You will never forget it!! OH all my photos are TOO LARGE. Guess I will have to resize them and post later...
  7. Of late there have been warnings about visiting several areas in the southern islands. One is the south part of Cebu Island. But I still think Cebu City is very safe. There have not been any bombings there. Here is my suggestions. Go to Cebu City. There are many malls and discos in CC. I think there are even some Go Go Bars but I have not explored that. The main Party Area is Mango Square. Crowded with young men and ladyboys. Two main Clubs: Alchology and Juliana. Check with NIrishGuy also on here. He was just there recently. Most guys are on PlanetRomeo and looking for Sex, a Date, or a Lover. Many are available to meet up and would love to go out for a night of fun. And most are not money boys. Make a Friend!! Then plan some side trips. If you want unspoiled white beaches, not taken over by the tourists, go to Bantayan Island and stay in Santa Fe. Take a Pinoy guy with you as there are not any pickup places that I know. Go to Panglao Island, which is part of Bohol. Plan to stay at Alona Beach. Lots of guys there!! Or you can meet some hotty from Bohol on PlanetRomeo. Or even take a flight over to Palawan Island. There are direct flights to Puerto Princessa and, now, even to El Nido. Beautiful beaches, ocean, and mountains. Other places I can recommend are on Mindanao, Cagayan de Oro is very safe (go river rafting) and Camiguan Island off the north coast (swim and go to the hot springs). I even feel Davao City in the far south is safe. But they did have a bombing there this past year. And of course there is always Boracay Island. Beautiful with the best white beach and lot of FUN FUN FUN in the evening. Easy to meet guys or take one with you. Flights from Manila or Cebu to Catician and a short pump boat ride across to the Island. OH and I almost forgot the Island of Mindoro. Fly to Manila and take a Van down to Batangas. Then a short pump boat ride over to Puerto Galera. Stay there or go to White Beach. Pick a time of one of the Parties when all the horny guys from Manila come down to Play!!! INGAT!! or Take care!!
  8. Thanks for the information! I will pass this on to my friend in the Philippines. His problem is the man who wanted to marry him now has "cold" feet. So probably better they did not proceed.
  9. I once went there to get a manicure and pedicure. (Had to look my best for my Long Time!!!) The Man and ped were great!! I saw they had massage rooms upstairs and I asked about a handsome young man I saw outside. But was told he was with a client. So they said call back another day. I did but again was told he would not be there that day. So I am now surprised they have THREE locations going. WOW!! But you have no choice as the the guy who will do your massage?? HUMMMM
  10. Makes sense... Money always trumps legal requirements. OH Did I say "trumps"?? Even more reason to disregard any legal requirements...
  11. Ryanasia, I also need to apologize. My Partner and I were both American Citizens. I can now understand why you are so upset by the requirements of US Immigrations. Public wedding photos do seem extreme to prove you wedded to your long time BF. I wonder if just a Wedding Certificate filed with the local County Clerk would not be sufficient. That is the Document we have to proved we are Husband and Husband. In any case, I am very interested in how you are proceeding to bring your BF to the US. And good luck!!
  12. Decided it was time for me to post about some of my experiences in the Philippines. But as this is a first post I will keep it an overview... I have been visiting the Philippines for over 12 years. And in that time I have fallen in "love" with the Country and the Guys!! My first trips where for exploring, and I generally flew to Manila. Visited Manila, Baguio, Mindoro, Boracay, and Kalibo. All interesting and beautiful places. Particularly Klibo, where my Pinoy friend took me to see the Ati-Atihin Festival. Then I met a wonderful guy who lived in Cagayan de Oro, on the big island of Mindanao. So off to there!! We were good friends for many years. But then he got sort of weird. I think he actually has Bi-Pol-er Disorder. Sad to say I invested money in some of his future schemes and they never came to fruition. But I always enjoyed CDO. Great seafood, great river rafting, not so good beaches, and other great guys there!!! If you go be sure to take in the Night Market on the weekends!! From Mindanao I enjoyed adventures to Iligan City (where I met a handsome young man who was actually in love with a Ladyboy. I also met her), and to Gingoog, and Camiguin Island (a must do if you are on Mindanao). Oh, and Malaybalay, up in the mountains. The home of another friend. Next on my travels was Davao City. Back then it was very safe. The then Mayor Duterte ruled the City with an Iron Fist and his Death Squads!! I fell in love with several nice guys there. And ended up putting three through College. All are now working overseas. Also went to Gen San, in the far South. Very nice!! One of my guys from Davao Family had a problem and they had to move to Surigao City, in the North of Mindanao. He and I have been friends for 9 years. So I have made several trips there and across the water to Siargao Island (the surfing capitol of the Philippines). HAHAHA not much to do there except surf. but we did find a wonderful small Thai Restaurant. Too spicy for my friend but heaven for me!!! Now, for the past several years I go to Cebu City on the Island of Cebu, also in the South. It is much better than going to Manila. Many things to do. Only sort of bad traffic. Beaches are close. And a good jumping off location for other places on the Island. Try Panglao Island and Bohol, Bantayan Island (unspoiled new Boracay), the Camotes (very very QUIET), Moalboal with its stunning White Beach, and Oslob to swim with the giant Whale Sharks. I have also gone from Cebu City down to Puerto Princess City and to Sabang Beach to tour the Underground River. Sorry have not gotten to El Nido. So I can say I have had many wonderful adventures in the Islands of the Philippines. Still a long "bucket list" of places to visit. If you have any questions, just ask!! As they say "Ingat and Paalam"!!
  13. Two years ago, I married my Partner of 48 years. So now we have been together for 50 years. We had a simple Wedding before a District Court Judge. He even had his Assistance be the Witness. No "public" ceremony , no pic in the local newspaper. No problems with being OUT. He and I have been out since a long long time ago. And being Married has some significant advantages, regarding taxes, property, and even insurance. So I hope you find the effort there in Bangkok to be worth it. Just hang in there...
  14. GOOD GOD!! Do not tell me you are visiting Manila?? Land of Jeepneys!!!
  15. So Steveboy, maybe it is time to stop smelling the boy's roses and let him smell yours?? Plenty for things an older man can do...
  16. An article from the Associated Press in our US Newspaper said the cremation would be on October 25. And it mentioned that will be the second 5 day mourning period to honor the King. So I am not clear if the 5 days is from October 20-25 or October 25-30. Anyone have better information from there in Thailand??
  17. HAHAHA a447a is persuading me to add another adventure up to Chang Mai in my plans for November!!!
  18. What you say about Income Requirements for Married Couples is a surprise to me. I have a Filipino friend of many years who is seeking a man from the US to marry him. HUM sounds like the same story for so many guys in the Phils. I have advisedhim and his American BF to go to the US Embassy in Manila and apply for a Fiance Visa. Guess I had best inform them of other requirements to meet... Thanks
  19. HAHAHA I think Ryan just uses LOTS of those Whitening Soaps and Creams. I know my Filipino Guy does...
  20. I have some great memories of times in NB!! I had two hot young guys there who would almost fight over who would get the off. They were both ready for action in the bar but would not to both go back to the hotel. Too bad.. I could never feel comfortable going into Golden Cock or Super A. More sleaze than I could endure.
  21. Come on spoon, your statements are groundless. I know many Filipinos and they are honest and trustworthy. Yes they take difficult jobs overseas to support their Families. But they do not bring with them crimes. Talk about bigots, look in the mirror.
  22. OK, I am new to this Forum. But not to other Web Forums about Thailand. I enjoy reading about members trips, adventures, opinions, places to see and go... But not about their Web Fantasies and seeing those accompanied by fake photos of some member's Wet Dreams. And jfarmer017, that is exactely what I have found your posts to be. Your Fantasies and Wet Dreams!! Nothing of real value to this Forum. Maybe Scooby could be open to making a separate Room just for you. And you can jerk off to your heart's content. I am sure you will also get off on all the Views and Replies. So now you have heard from more than one Member who is not pleased with your posts here. GWMinUSA
  23. Life goes on I do not think it is worth rehashing Need more posts of trips there!!! Koop khun krub...
