I read way too much Narnia when I was lutheran and small. In Junior High my tastes improved.

Nothing about the style of his short story (I haven't read The Englishman) turned me off, it just wasn't a particularly captivating style like say Colm Toibin or Dennis Cooper. You may not have noticed, but the picture that the link to the music video you posted in "this" thread had a photo of a kid, so we had to delete it. I don't know any in Colorado, sorry. But, some advice. I've been a skier for over 30 years (started at 4) and have been snowboarding for 15 years. That said, in the beginning learning snowboarding can be much more frustrating than learning skiing was (on skis you can at least stand!!). But don't give up. By the third/fourth full day something should click and you'll be rocking!
