  1. That is my guess too. In 2011 I took a massage lad from Bangkok to Patong Beach. He sat apart from me at the airport gate.
  2. As long as collecting it doesn't create another queue for us jet lagged and exhausted travellers.
  3. I always paid to get in, the fee included a drink(s); I had some good times there 2011 onwards but too smokey for me in the end.
  4. I'm in Bangkok but I rarely walk past GOD late at night. Does anyone know if it is open again and, if so, which nights?
  5. I agree completely. I had a friend who met a young Tunisian man and sent him money for years. The lad virtually never worked in 20 years. I know Tunisia isn't easy to get work but we don't help them by encouraging them to sit on their arse and smoke weed for decades.
  6. Dreamboys had more customers when I was there a few nights ago. I give plenty of lads 100 bt when it's quiet and the occasional wealthy customer gives out loads of money. The higher prices for drinks, the drink tips and extra tips for the lads, some offs; it clearly must work as a business as most go go's have reopened. I do not claim that most lads will break out of the poverty but the dream is the rich farang bf.
  7. Latest iphone, gold necklace, expensive perfume or, cheaper, a visit to a 'destination' like a waterpark or whatever that he can put photos of it online to show to his friends and gain face. I once hit the spot giving my favourite Vietnamese man a tablet so he could watch football and films on it with his mates.
  8. It's a good idea. The lad I'm seeing asked for perfume.
  9. This is the business I use and trust. Used them about 4 times.
  10. I had the same experience there, made worse by arriving with lad 1, who ordered many dishes, while we were waiting for his friend, lad 2, to join us. Lad 2 was not really hungry. As well as 'face' (order expensive dishes), there can also be the assumption that we must be really wealthy. One reason I can be generous to the lads is by being careful in my usual expenditure so I dislike seeing my money wasted.
  11. My chip not working well today. May 2020. A new YouGov poll of 1,640 people suggests that 28% of Americans believe that Bill Gates wants to use vaccines to implant microchips in people - with the figure rising to 44% among Republicans.
  12. Sorry to hear this. I am feeling a bit rough. Is that Soros and Gates?
  13. Depends on when you want to visit Chiang Mai but many avoid it in rice fields burning season. Is cooler as a bit higher. I suggest Pattaya, not Phuket, for more twinks.
  14. I agree. And selective checking would save on staff at airports. But I will print mine out as I like the t's crossed arriving at BKK.
  15. According to Bangkok Post, you are ok: All visitors to Thailand must show proof of at least two Covid-19 vaccinations under revised rules that coincide with the revival of travel from China, authorities said on Thursday. As well, visitors... https://www.bangkokpost.com/thailand/general/2476069/proof-of-covid-jabs-for-all-visitors-revived
  16. Some 53 years ago, when I was 17, I was pissing blood sometimes. I think it may have been a cut inside the penis from my dick rubbing against my tracksuit as I was running a lot. Whatever it was, it stopped, and I am still here.
  17. No date when it starts yet but it won't be long https://www.bangkokpost.com/thailand/general/2476069/proof-of-covid-jabs-for-all-visitors-revived
  18. Haven't Met Bangkok Silom by Cross Collection I have not been but the reviews look good.
  19. My understanding of the law in the UK is that it's illegal to send or possess or download indecent photos of anyone under 18, even if it's two 17 year olds exchanging selfies. And also illegal to pay anyone aged 16 to 18 for sex, though the age of consent is 16 for all, unless one person is in a position of responsibility.
  20. I am getting positive reports of more customers in Bangkok and Pattaya and I will see for myself when I arrive there in 29 days. My favourite bars are Freshboys in Bangkok and Picky Bar in Boyztown.
  21. My sense is very definitely it is upstairs, whether managers or above them, as you suggest, that makes all the rules on Patpong Soi 2. That includes attire. There is not a unionised and powerful workforce. Even bars with close connections with the police have to abide by the rules of the month.
  22. Thank you for so many useful comments. There is sure some truth in the above comment. I have been three times this year and I went to Freshboys every night I was in Bangkok. Plus some other venues. I don't think the lads are getting many offs, unless they are stars. And I see many customers arriving for the shows there so this encourages the management to do long shows. I'm in touch with multiple men who work in these bars and their current reports are very various on business. I think if they can get a couple of offs a week they are fine. If they are not popular and spend night after night grossing 400 bt and spending 200 bt on taxis it is not sustainable. If we were once young and penniless we can be a bit generous to them.
  23. As it's high season I thought there would be more customers there. It was ok ish in October when I was last there. I know the lads always moan but they don't seem happy. What do people on the ground think?
  24. I too get more generous after midnight. But I don't like to feel I've been invited just to pay the bill. Anyway you had a good time.
  25. Freshboys on Patpong Soi 2 is open until 01.00. I just checked with a lad who works there.
