Indiscrete question about how many boys you have had a day?

Huge sigh.

It’s not about what “EVERYONE” here knew what the poster meant, but about what it states in plain language to those who may read / monitor the site.

Asking a question in print about “having sex with boys” — in an age of FOSTA / SESTA where websites are being shut down for promoting underage sex and pornography with minors is a really, really bad idea.

Under the sweeping new FOSTA / SESTA federal law, the feds are looking for ANY reason to shut down websites that they view promote child sex trafficking. Therefore, precise language regarding consensual sex with adults is very important.

Some more flippant and cavalier posters may not care if this website — like others already have — gets shut down and the webmaster catches a federal charge that he will have to spend all his resources defending. I happen to like the place and want it to stick around

The OP seemed to understand this when it was pointed out to him.

I mean sex with men more thatn 20 older... , no children, I have never done it.  I dont like it.

Because the question was non-discrete as opposed to non-discreet, it was ambiguous, so I assumed it was related to the number of entries into this loja in Botafogo or other Rio locations and beyond.

So say I to the prospective prosecutor.

I went in to browse several times but I touched nothing and there was no financial transaction.

If my "Portulish" were better, I'd have asked questions about product age-appropriateness.

------

Parenthetically, boytoy colloquially means a female of age available to a male of age, or a male of age available to a female (or male) of age.

Joking aside .... guy, provider, scort (please, not 'scout'!), etc, any one or more of countless options distancing from the notion of child, being under legal age of majority, or outside of the legally acceptable age differential where sexual consent age is less than the conventional threshold definitions of adulthood, etc.

Otherwise, a "boy who is not a child", which is too cumbersome.

I already weighed in earlier in another thread regarding the term. The flippant or casual sloppy use of "boy" here, by now, is forthwith puerile.

IT MUST BE CLEAR... I MEAN SEX WITH ADULTS, MEN.

If you are not touching children, then you should have nothing to worry about!  The FBI isn't looking at this forum that has no child porn or talks about child porn or talks about sex trafficking.  If you are talking about it, then the Law should shut this shit down and take your ass to jail. But what it won’t be for is someone using the term “boy.”  The secondary definition of Boy is -used informally or lightheartedly to refer to a man.  Which is obviously what the poster was saying.  But being extra as you have proven to be you take to another level! Lol

Point taken, but best to use squeaky clean terms, and the discussion here helps to develop a community standard that assuages understandable anxiety yet does not impose much burden on posters asked to use alternative terms. That is easier than second-guessing the outcome of various related law enforcement trends.

You were a pioneer. Online, this clear adult phrasing is appropriate and necessary in a FOSTA/SESTA world (for any US-based or US-operating website or message board).

Adult-oriented websites and message boards are now being shut down for MUCH less!

Previous to the bill, individual web users were legally responsible for what they posted. Now, any number of company employees could face up to 10 years in federal prison if their platform hosts anything that “facilitates sex work or sex trafficking.”

It’s a broadly written law that could affect any adult-oriented businesses, including those that market sexual films (another form of “sex work”) and forums advocating sex work legalization. The law essentially allows state and federal governments to shut down any sites it doesn’t like in the name of preventing trafficking.

Companies don’t have the time or technology to effectively filter out all of this potentially illegal content. It would take an expensive and powerful form of artificial intelligence to detect it, and teams of lawyers to handle any potential lawsuits if anything slips through.

Instead of paying for these exorbitant costs, most businesses have just opted to shut down any forums for sex or dating. Others have banned any and all “adult content” (including discussion boards) and created rules forbidding sexual comments.”

Fortunately Oz hosts this site far outside the jurisdiction of US law (so-called) enforcement.

Adult-oriented sites and message boards that discuss the commerce of sex, or post pornographic images of models that cannot be proven to be adults have been shut down after FOSTA / SESTA — either voluntarily or by the feds.

These include not only sites that actually do traffic in child porn or sex trafficking, but also sites that merely contain  message boards where individual users have inadvertently posted something that could be interpreted broadly as a federal sex crime. Good luck convincing a federal prosecutor that the “intent” for the use of the word “boy” was simply just an adult after it was used sexually. Perhaps after months or years and tens of thousands of dollars spent by the webmaster as a defendant (because under FOSTA / SESTA, they now hold the website owner criminally liable for the words of an individual message board posted), the feds will drop the harassing case.

There are many reports of adult and sex worker websites being harassed under the new law are being posted on the Internet. Google is your friend:

https://www.techdirt.com/articles/20180614/08352740037/doj-lets-cops-know-sesta-fosta-is-shutting-down-websites-not-busting-sex-traffickers.shtml

You honestly have no idea who monitors this site or how the information posted here is disseminated to law enforcement. And based on your comment, it seems that you might not even understand how the internet works. The “FBI” doesn’t need to sit around and monitor individual websites. Once something is posted onto the internet, it never truly goes away and can be saved, screen shot, tracked or recovered.

I would much rather be “extra” than a fool.

That’s great for OZ, but it doesn’t exonerate / insulate anyone from US federal prosecution or harassment that has conducted any deemed questionable activities on US territory — including posting from the USA to a foreign message board through an ISP located in the USA.

Sadly, you delve deeply into the various colloquial meanings of the word "boy" rather needlessly as we all know what is meant and how it is used. The word you should thinking about is "should" - yes, you 'should have nothing to worry about." Tell that to the righteous warriors of this current administration who drag the owner of the site into court and force him to spend his money in defense of their opinion. Ruin can follow very quickly.

@SolaceSoulwas simply pointing that out.

I think it is useful to be reminded of the repressive regression permeating commercial sex work legislation in general.

Being Canadian, it is illegal to pay for webcam performance (so no Boytoyflirt, CB, etc credit card registration for me); for S&M even if no objective physiological arousal because the government owns the definition of sexual gratification; to buy a mickey of Canadian Club for the local 68-year old streetdweller to jerk me in the privacy of my own home; or communicate with any provider about service provision even if no followthrough booked session.

Not just fines .... mandatory minimum prison time.

And my marginal tax rate is 39%, so if I want to compete with the old street hustler for trade, which is legal, I get to keep but $6.10 for the fantastic blowie on offer, not to mention 40% of my income pays for these ridiculous rules.

Philly born but orphaned? No Dr Seuss avail for Mummy and Daddy in the local libe? [teasing]

Don't confuse a desire for clarity with poor vocabulary skills. Indeed, the opposite is true.

Anyone can ask for clarification. I can accommodate. Even reword or summarize on request.

Best to ask soon, though, in case I too am puzzled by what I wrote. LOL.

That is why there is Q&A in the many conference and symposium presentations I have given. Seeing as you mentioned Oxford don a while back, I can confirm that I have been published by Oxford U Press, at their invitation, with no edit requested following submission for print.

There are a lot of posts that are lost on me because of my lack of comprehension or lack of familarity with background or contextual references. It is not a problem. Personally, I would rather see more complexity, to stretch me, than endless thematic repetition.

I am sure it is time for another argumentative discussion about "service fees", though now potentially risky if we do not codify it differently.

Hey now ... I cannot easily connect the two sentences. I really need to think it through. I can almost intuit the meaning, often good enough. Seriously, not an imposition, though.

You state an opposite of something is a truism. The four potential opposites are: do confuse, non-desire, non-clarity, and good.

I am going to sift through the options, assuming various combinations of the four possible juxtapositions  ....

None work! I need to replace a word or second-guess you and rewrite it.

A desire for clarity reflects good vocabulary (?) ... No, not always true, because sometimes poor vocabulary inhibits comprehension.

*The person whose writing lacks clarity has poor vocabulary skills.* That is as close as I can get on this pass. Though it is not really an opposite of anything originally written. Different, but not diametrically. And can certainly apply to anyone, including me.

*The person with average vocabularly can detect lack of clarity.* Also a contender. I just did it.

So happy this is just an exercise and I do not have a mandate to regularly edit everyone else.

A good audience steps up to the level of a common denominator that may exceed the average.

The best evidence of my audience familarity is grasping you occupy the patchy throne at Paco's quilting bee.

I just went for the 1st time the end of June.....going back in Sept.

Laboratory was also an amazing scene!

Lab.oratory is also an amazing scene, particularly on thurdays when everyone is naked including many cute men.

But some younger guys, even if they are in a sling, are reluctant to be fucked by an older guy, which does not happen in FickStutenMarkt since mares cannot refuse stallions.

There are more good looking guys in Lab.oratory than in FSM IMHO

What are their enforcement mechanisms?

Oz lives very far outside the reach of US law, far as I know.

Some legal options already exercised in similar cases:

Shutting down websites. Demand for federally required documentary evidence of legal age requirements of subjects in pornographic images under USC 2257. Securing warrants for the IP addresses of individual offending posters. Closing down back accounts of suspected offenders. Arrest warrants. Extradition.
