Black and White bar is basically a pick up place - last time visiting picked up a gorgeous Argentinian there - was 60 Euro (2 years ago). There are many gay bars and clubs in the city - some better than others. Sauna Adan is basically a brothel - many Brazilians, Romanians and Latin Americans. The going rate is Euro 50. Sex happens on the premises - not sure if they will be willing to go to your hotel. A wealth of information about gay scene online. Off to Istanbul tomorrow. Had to settle for Sagrada Familia which is the still the uncompleted Roman Catholic Basilica by famed architect Gaudi. By the time this structure is competed in 2028 it will have been in construction for 148 years. When Gaudi died in 1926 it was only 20-25 % completed . Reportedly Gaudi had said his client was not in a rush. Photos do't do it justice to its immense size or unconventional looks. For those of you who tout Gayromeo, how could you not have any responses? I don't know what your profile looks like or says so it is difficult to say why no responses. Is it the age factor which generally is not a big consideration in Thailand? Is it your location on your profile that may make others think you are not actually in Barcelona? Is there something in your profile or message that offends those in Spain? Is it a language barrier? Is there an economic difference by area? Is there a stronger mix of non-locals looking to hook up with locals? I guess there are many possible reasons why your experience is likely not the same as Thailand. I know I would not get the same response in my home country that I get in Thailand either, so the same can also be true in many countries. It is also a good idea to enjoy the culture. I only look 18-24 and I always start in the Escort section of Gayromeo outside of Thailand . I find very little response in the General Section of Gayromeo outside of Thailand and I never use the Escort section of Gayromeo in Thailand. I can't explain why I got very good response in Madrid vs Barcelona. That included Grindr and Hornet. Hornet seems to be the #1 Gay Site now among Jack'd Grindr and Hornet. I have had a number of hits by men that I have no interest in mostly because of their age. On short trips I prefer to pay and find my preferences. That worked in Madrid but not in Barcelona although again the escort section had a number of ads I liked on Gayromeo but they had not been online for awhile. In Europe some of the cuter escorts seem to go from city to city and at any one time they could have ads in multiple cities but only respond where they are working at the time. Bottom line nothing is like Thailand for use of Gayromeo. I get responses in Pattaya to 90% of my queries. Bangkok is probably only 40 %. Difference being there are a lot more Gay Boys in BKK looking for boys or men in their own age bracket. In Pattaya they are mostly all looking for baht. I am staying at the Hilton airport and they treat me good there since I am a Diamond. He immediately accepted and I made him reservations on Easyjet which is cheap and only a 1 hour flight. Long time since I've done an overnight anywhere except Thailand.. But I love the photos and the reviews and his back and forth with me has been great. 300 Euros for an overnight is reasonable enough if he lives up to his reviews. Lot of building could use some loving care and but the Monuments are kept very nice.. Very hilly but they have these outdoor elevators that can cut down on the climbing . Some are up to 7 floors are higher..
