Day 0 (lol) Travel Day. Flight leaving Denver was 30 minutes late. Not totally unexpected, as most things landing and taking off at Denver are always delayed. Same for San Francisco. Total of 20 hours confined on a flying tin can, plus an additional six hours in layovers. Draining experience to say the least. I moved to Denver from the SF Bay Area a few years ago and at that time the SF airport had completed their new international terminal and the older terminal buildings were undergoing renovation. Was somewhat of a surprise to find the airport once again undergoing some reno projects. Made for a very long walk from arrival gate to international departure gate. At least it did not require leaving a secure area so no need to pass through security checkpoint again. Next stop Taipei. It has been many years since I have flown through Taipei for anything…probably 20 or more. Back then it was still called Chiang Kai-Shek International and consisted of two main terminal buildings. Now we are Taiwan Taoyuan International with terminals A, B, C, and D. Naturally, our arrival was in Terminal D and the new departure gate was in A…thus another very long walk. Certainly got my steps in on this trip. Change in carrier from United to EVA. Was reminded once on board EVA how much better the Asian carriers do at customer service and the food was pretty amazing. US carriers in general are just bad all around…in my humble opinion…by comparison. Somewhere between Denver and Bangkok I completely lost one day. Wednesday just ceased to exist. Arrival was 10:30am Thursday morning. In my previous trips to visit with my Thai friends, they always had me arrive late in the evening between 11pm and midnight. Not sure why they always preferred that…possibly work and family schedules…but the late arrival always messed up my internal body clock and I had a terrible time adjusting for a few days. Since I was not planning to depend on them for this trip, I scheduled my arrival for mid-morning and I have learned that is much better. Will definitely do that again. Arrival was on time, immigration/customs was a breeze, and I didn’t need to wait on my checked bag. I had completed the new online entry form prior to departure in Denver and printed it out. Went through the priority line for seniors with no wait whatsoever. My luggage was on the carousel before I got there, probably because of the distance I had to walk from the arrival gate to baggage claim. These airports are so huge nowadays. Thanks to recommendations from forum members, I had pre-booked with SP Limousine Service. They provided very detailed info via email about where to meet their contact person, and it was seamless. I think the entire process from deplaning to getting in the reserved car and on the freeway heading to my hotel was only 45 minutes! I was amazed…and grateful. Other than the travel duration, in general the trip was long and tiring but uneventful. Day 1 Bangkok Thanks to the many posts and recommendations from forum members, I decided to step outside of my normal comfort zone. After all, this trip was all about me and having some fun…not spending time with my friends and their families. Naturally, traffic from Suvarnabhumi to Silom was horrendous, so even though my entry to Thailand was smooth sailing, it was probably 1pm before arriving at Ibis Styles Silom. Overall first impression was it was new, modern, and staff was all very friendly and helpful. Check-in was easy and I was given a room on the 5th floor. As per previous comments on the forum, rooms are definitely on the small side. Since I have never stayed in a hotel here before, I really have nothing to compare it to. For me, it’s fine, but with two persons for a week I imagine it would be very cramped. View out the window was a bit unusual. My room overlooked the back which was mostly low income family residences. Lots of small, pieced together buildings mostly of steel siding and roofs or fiberglass. Just not something I expected to see in the middle of Bangkok. I would have thought some developer would have bought up all of that property and built another shopping mall or high rise. However, it did make for some interesting people watching. To be honest, I wasn’t really planning on much excitement the first day in BKK assuming I would be exhausted. Those plans quickly changed. Based upon several recent posts on the forum about using apps and how successful some members were, I decided to add Grinder to my phone. While I did not post a photo, I was pretty honest about age and appearance. It was like my phone was blowing up! From the time I checked in to my hotel until my first ‘date’ was about 4.5 hours. 27 year old, originally from Surin, twink, very dark complexion and a real cutie. Just getting off work at 5pm…where was I staying…could be here by 5:30pm via BTS…could we please meet. I simply couldn’t refuse. Met in the lobby then went up to my room. Oh, and not a MB. All in all, a great first day and I surprised myself at being so adventurous. Certainly helped with the jet lag to stay up and active until 10pm. Had to turn my phone to silent. Went right to sleep and other than a couple of trips to the bathroom during the night (normal routine) slept soundly until morning. Woke up refreshed, hungry, and ready for more experiences.

FIRST NIGHT IN BANGKOK I started the evening with a stroll. Through the various streets lined with boy bars and massage shops... What struck me was how quiet the streets were. Few people were walking around or entering the bars. I was therefore afraid I'd be the only customer if I went in. But when I entered Freshboys just after 10:30, it was surprisingly packed. The show wasn't anything new. It was mostly the same. During the big cock parade, number 31 caught my eye. Gorgeous body, six-pack, nice tattoos (not too many, but distinct. Chinese theme). But I can't remember the context. Maybe I saw the guy once when he worked at one of the boy bars. Or maybe I even met up with him on one of my previous trips... I asked him to give me a soft massage because I was experiencing some pain, and he knew exactly the right pressure so it wasn't painful, but you could feel that he was doing something. Satisfied and tired, I crawled into bed after he had also provided the extra service to my satisfaction. Bangkok Day activities: A visit to the Mahanakhon skyscraper. The view is impressive, as is the skywalk. bicycle tour by night. Great experience, but I prefer the day tour. Luckily, I paid an extra 100 baht for the VIP room, because if that was a VIP room, I don't want to know what the regular rooms look like. The massage was better than expected, with a pleasant body-to-body massage. As soon as I turned over, the real fun began. Min turned out to be a very enthusiastic bottom. We showered together at the end. From start to finish, 70 minutes. Highly recommended. Grindr: Probably a coincidence, but the money boys were much more responsive than in Pattaya. I got one boy into my room within five minutes of our conversation. I ended up meeting two boys, paying them 1,200 and 1,500 baht respectively. Both were okay. ---- I had a wonderful trip to Thailand. It was great to be back and see how things have changed. Some for the better (Jomtien Complex), some for the worse (Sunee, Boystown). After visiting Colombia often over the past five years, it was good to have a change of scenery. Will I go back? Definitely, but my next trip will be to Colombia again. I went to celebrate friend's birthday. As I could pack light, I didn't take taxi but instead took airport train to Silom on Friday evening. I stayed at new Hotel Nishitestsu Croom until Sunday. My regular guy was back in Vietnam to celebrate Tet so I met another guy for both nights. They know each other casually. Saturday night was dinner gathering with some favourite forum members at G's. We even took a nice group photo. After that was a trip together to Atlas before we split up to Freshboys and Hot Male. Eventually we met at Foodland again for supper before going back happily with our guys. Second trip was documented in this trip report. Now to 3rd trip. Thoroughly refreshed, I went to Foodland Patpong supermarket to get a birthday cake. At 9.30pm, I entered Freshboys. Mamasan was happy to see me back. Lots of seats available as only about 5 other customers at that early time. I took front row seats facing the stage. Two waiters prepared the birthday cake on the table. 50 candles. My regular guy joined me and sat next to me. I also invited 4 other guys down from the stage. I bought drinks for all of them. Once candles were ready, my regular guy and I lighted them. The DJ played Happy Birthday song - the hilarous and fun Thai version. I cut the cake and we ate while catching up. I told mamasan I would pay off fees for my regular guy for 3 nights. Once we finished eating the cake, I settled my bill. I tucked 200 baht each into the front of the shorts of the guys seated with me. One of them cheekily pulled his shorts wide open for me to tuck the notes in! I also tipped mamasan and waiters. I said goodbye to them and I will see them again. It was not even 10pm but I was out of Freshboys, happy with the person I had come to Bangkok to celebrate my birthday with.

Next day I went to Khao Kheow Open Zoo I joined a tour group which I was told was a Russian tour but English would be fine, it was not 😅. Tour guide spoke a little English however a few of the Russians on the tour did speak English, I used translation app to translate most of the tour info. Everyone was friendly enough. In the end the made everyone goto one of their shops to try and get people to buy overpriced items. The zoo was great. Got to see all the exhibits and everyone had a lot of fun. Throughout the day the massage boy from Grindr kept messaging me, getting really needy. The bad thing was Every time I walked out of my hotel I walked by him at this massage shop and just waved and kept walking. I decided to goto M Bar to see what it was all about. However shows they on were uninteresting to me and it seems like this bar is mostly just to get the boys to sit with you and have a little fun on the couches. The boys stand on stage.. that’s it.. felt kind of awkward. There was only one other person in the bar besides myself, one guy kept looking at me on stage and making it very obvious he wanted me to off him. I was interested in another guy too but he appeared bored and wasn’t looking. I decided to buy the guy making googly eyes at me a drink, we discussed fee. He asked 2500 I counted at 2000 which he accepted. He got dressed and left. I believe off fee here was 500. Caught a grab and headed back to hotel, he told me how it’s slower now, he use to dance as a gogo boy on walking street and make more per night, it’s what he likes to do but those bars have slowed down so he looked elsewhere. I forgot to mention when we stepped out of dreamsboys it’s directly across from xboys the mamasan was outside and she saw me and gave me the why you didn’t come back look. I was surprised she remembered I hid behind boy and she laughed. boy and I had fun, I decided to tip him the 2500 he originally asked for cause he was great. i did a bit more shopping during the week, next time I think I would visit more gogo bars however I did like staying in Jomtien and I think I would again. I found nighboys club I didn’t go in because it was dead outside and kind of late. There are also a lot of boys around the bars in super town that appear to:be offable if you are braver than me to approach . that was it for me in pattaya. I had a blast, I am in bangkok now and having a lot of fun.

ARRIVAL I've been flying business class on my outbound journey for years. It's quite a long journey from Europe, and I love arriving in Thailand refreshed. This way, I can immediately dive into the sodomy that is Patpong, full of energy. I also find that by flying business class, the holiday begins during the trip instead of only when you arrive at your destination. Another advantage: you can use priority lane at immigration. After all, the lines at passport control can sometimes be very crowded. While boarding my 2nd flight/leg in Doha, I spotted a well-dressed, well-built guy. The kind you know right away is gay. A shirt that was way, way, way too tight around his muscular torso. But I did have something delicious to look at and fantasize about. And who did I meet on Grindr hours later after arriving? The last-minute prices for the luxurious Meridian Hotel, where I'd treated myself to two nights to kick off my vacation, were very high. So I decided to look for a cheaper option in Silom for one night and then move to the Meridian Hotel on day two. I found a very good deal on booking.com for Squirrel House, a relatively new hotel in the building that used to house the BBB Inn. I often prefer newer hotels. They still look fresh, are often clean, and have a modern, bright interior. I remember several other forum members having stayed there as well. See: I found old photos of the hotel on Google Maps when it was still the BBB Inn. It's funny to see that they advertised the hotel back then with a photo of a staff member lying on a hotel bed. I wonder if any members here ever found a staff member lying on their bed back then? The location is, of course, ideal. Within walking distance of all the bars and massage shops in Patpong. At least, within walking distance for most of us. @Olddaddy would definitely take a motorbike taxi... I think someone on this forum already mentioned the hotel's lack of an elevator. And of course, lucky me, my room was on the third floor... I had to lug my heavy suitcase up the stairs. The room is very basic. The bed is a bit too firm for my liking. And it's quite noisy. I hear a lot of noise from others walking in the hallway, from other rooms, and from slamming doors. The renovation of the adjacent (former) Take a Nap Hostel is currently also causing noise pollution. In short: it was nice to try a new hotel, and thankfully it was only for one night, but I won't be booking this one again.

Day 2 Bangkok - Part 2 Thanks to all of you wonderful forum members who have described in detail just how the boy clubs function, I was somewhat prepared for what to expect. We arrived at 10pm with the first show scheduled to begin at 10:30pm. I knew from comments here that the likelihood of the show actually starting on time were next to nil. lol. We were the only two customers in the place. They had 13 number guys rotating on stage in groups of four. I am guessing you would call him papasan, immediately pounced on us to invite boy over to sit with us. I wasn’t rude, but declined the offer, said we were a couple not interested in additional company, and just planned to enjoy the show. That seemed to be accepted and we were left alone the rest of the evening. During the first rotation/set the guys all wore yellow shorts and black tank tops that said Moonlight. During the second set, they only wore the yellow shorts. What was interesting to me is even though there were very few customers, and just the two of us for a good 25 minutes, the boys still did their rotation and basically just stood there. They looked very bored. Not sure I understand the reason management would have them just get up on stage and stand there when no customers are there. Anyway, about 10:20pm another caucasian/asian couple arrived and papasan immediately made a beeline for them. Next up was an older Asian gentleman that everyone seemed to know and I assumed to be a regular. All of the boys were trying really hard to attract his attention. Then two Asian young men who ordered a bottle of liquor and was sharing it with a number of the boys and models. It appeared they were all friends. A group of three Asians of various ages were ushered in to a special corner booth in the front section. They, too, ordered a bottle. Last customers to appear were two lesbians who truly sat in the back and made out the entire time. All total there were 14 customers during the entire first show. Between boys, models, waiters, doormen, and other workers, they completely outnumbered all of the paying customers. Show finally started at 11pm with the models doing several numbers, both as a group and some individual. Drag queen performed one number by Mariah Carey near the end of the show. Models did not have numbers, so I assume they cannot be offed??? Waiters all had numbers. Since I was with someone, I certainly had no plans to entertain someone else. None of the waiters or number boys really appealed to me. Would consider going back and seeing if one of the models, Mr. Boss, was available. He is the only one that really did anything for me. There were 9 models. Towards the end of the show you could tip the models with what I would call a stole. Out of the 9 models, 4 received a 1000 Baht stole. During our stay, I saw 3 number boys leave with customers. One other thing I noticed about the entire experience…the number boys all try to make contact with the customers. Eye contact, body language, facial expressions…a lot of interaction from onstage with customers. Models…never looked directly at the customers/audience. When performing, they were always looking at themselves in the mirrors across the back opposite the stage. Several of them looked very bored and disinterested…like they wanted to be anywhere else but in the club. Keep in mind this is my first time visiting these clubs, so that is just my overall impression. After we left the club, we headed back to the hotel, took a shower, did the wild thing, and fell asleep cuddling. Was not ever discussed or planned as an overnight, but we both just kind of went with the flow of things and it was so late it made more sense for him to stay the night. He had to get up early, go home to change, and then off to work. Exchanged contact info with both young men from Grinder. Not sure I will follow up with another visit from the first guy, but definitely want to see the second one again. I could see myself easily falling for him. Dangerous territory.

Don’t believe that dramatic tittle of the report. Yes, it was not one of best and memorable trips but still , when comes to boys, it brought plenty of fine moments. Still it did not work as planned and envisioned, partially because life intervened, partially because I made hasty decision so my sentiment reflected in the tittle about that trip is accurate. Original plane was 4 nights in Bangkok , followed by three in Pattaya, carefully chosen to coincide with show at The Best Bar in Jomtien as part of Maxhunt ( more about that in relevant part ) and then 6 days in Bangkok again. Then life happened, owing to family matters I was forced, or to be more accurate, I had chosen to be forced to cancel my original ticket. Since it was low cost non-refundable one and I never buy trip cancellation insurance, it meant I threw 700 USD it originally cost to the dust bin. They were other related costs amounting to roughly the same , before I stepped out of plane in Bangkok, three day later than planned, I lost about 1400 $. No wonder I’m glad it’s over. Still , mind you I opted for that misery and I’m glad I did. Life, sigh. Then before I even left home I noticed that one of my boys, lets call him Cambodian Boy (CB), changed his Line avatar to something teary. So out of curiosity I asked him if all is ok. It was not as he explained. Due to border dispute between Thailand and Cambodia he was forced to leave his bar job , returned home but told me he will come on 14 to utilize his 7 day visa, all currently available. I did not spill the beans that I should be in Bangkok for part of his time there but I knew that first bar I visit will be Moonlight hoping for that big smile of surprise. Anyways after all those tribulation , instead of Sunday I landed in Bangkok on Wednesday after having extremely pleasant last leg from Doha with all three seats in my row at my disposal. Day1 Landed early afternoon which is the best time as removes all problems with early check in in hotel and allows to change money at best places. Immigration was a breeze this time , 5 minutes and I was out. Speaking about changing money, in the basement by railway station I got 37.10 for euro, and assumption that it was the best rate lasted only until arrival at Phaya Thai station. Immediately after one leaves paid area there are two booths and one offered 37.28 and next one even 37.30. That rate , by the way was matched by XOne hour or two later. My original plan was to stay in Baan Silom but since my 4 night shrunk to one I went for Raya. Owing to low season that had very friendly rates. Settling there I went to post office as had something to mail , then to XOne to change more money and finally to Foodland for my first chicken with cashews – sadly , this time very average. I have only started exploring SE Asia a few years ago, but from my two trips so far (this being the third) where Bangkok has been the anchor at the beginning and at the end of the trip, I have come to the conclusion that Bangkok is the perfect first stop for me. Decent breakfast with egg station and freshly cooked Asian options and not so interesting industrial grade Western options. Visitor friendly, and no key card required for the lift, which was very convenient since I had a couple of repeat hook ups and a regular from previous visits. After freshing up, I set out on an expedition of grooming and massage with happy ending. I found a nearby nail salon where I had a manicure and a pedicure. Next stop was S’Sense for a two hour hot oil massage. Massage was excellent as always and extras was the best body-to-body massage I have experienced so far. Day 4 Bangkok - Part 1 There is a massage shop called The Master Gallery that isn’t located anywhere near other shops or what one could consider the gay area of Bangkok. While scrolling through the twitter account, it seems they have a relatively new addition to their staff. And, even better, it is the guy I have been drooling over for months!!! So I contacted them via LINE to ask if my preferred guy worked at the Sathorn location and, if so, would he be available for a 2pm session today. The answer to both questions was a resounding ‘YES’. Their therapists rotate around between all three shops, so whichever location is the most convenient for you is where the therapist will meet you. Enter through double glass doors into a large reception area with a formal, wood spiral staircase. There are three levels to this building. Reception area includes desk and comfortable seating. It really is very spacious, as are the massage rooms, and gives you the impression it is a very expensive and exclusive spa. Compared to other shops I have seen it is quite impressive. The rooms are large and include private bath with shower in each room. Tables are very large and wide with built in face cradle. My only complaint would be the padding on the table is rather thin and can become uncomfortable after awhile, especially when laying on your stomach. The tables are also very well made and sturdy. I wasn’t sure what to expect, and had not read anything about these shops on the forum, so from overall first impressions I was thinking it would be strictly therapeutic and legitimate. The therapist walked me up one floor to the room at the very end. He was just as cute and sexy as the photos online. I counted five rooms in addition to mine on this floor. I was invited to disrobe and shower and he would return in a few minutes…the usual routine. I had selected a 2 hour aromatic just as I did at Prestige. Just my preference, guys. lol. Cost was 1390 Baht. I was told in advance via LINE that tip would be 1500 Baht for my therapist. I was also told he was Gay T/B. It does vary by therapist. Finished my shower and laid on the table. Therapist returned with tray of supplies. Ambience in the room is actually quite nice with calming music and soft lighting. When I first laid down I had pulled the towel across myself since I wasn’t quite sure what to expect from this shop. At first he did dry presses over the towel and would move it around as necessary. He was actually on the table as he was working on my legs and back. I would guess maybe about 5 minutes of this and then the towel slowly went away. As he was still doing dry presses but straddling my legs I immediately recognized skin against skin. He was naked, so there was no longer any question or doubt about where this was going to end. Day 2 Bangkok - Part 1 Breakfast buffet at Ibis is ok. Not bad, but not great, either. Mixture of western and Asian cuisines. Western doesn’t seem to have much variation from day to day…cold cut ham slices, potatoes, chicken sausage, toast or pastry and eggs cooked to order. Asian has more variety, as I would expect. 199 Baht…don’t know how that compares to other places but convenient. My original plan was to check out one or two massage shops I had on my list, but those plans quickly went south when I received a message from a really handsome guy originally from Phuket. He has lived in Bangkok for approximately 13 years and is a supervisor with one of the bigger banks. Anyway, he had the day off and wanted to know if I would be interested in ‘hanging out’, as he put it. He is in his mid-30’s, very much a clean cut business type. Hey guys, This is report on my trip about 2 weeks ago in BKK. Had a work engagement there and decided to extend the stay for a short weekend vacation. Thought I'd share some info on the bars I've visited. (Sorry for any typos or grammar issues 🙏. Writing this out on my phone) Jupiter Finally, after talking about it in a few reports, I finally took a guy out from Jupiter! Lol I came in initially just to watch the show. It was a Friday night but the bar was no where nearly as crowded as before. Still a lot of customers relative to the other bars I went to, but plenty of empty seats. I had one of the mamasan helped me with the boys. Basically, from what I understand (and confirmed by the boy I eventually offed), about 5-6 guys only exclusively go with women. From the rest, a lot of the str8 guys are ok to go with male clients but vary in terms of what they are willing to do (usually they won't kiss other guys). The ones that are open to all are the gay models. The first guy I invited over for a drink was a fit, next door kinda guy that I had my eye on in my last trip. Only one other client beside me there. I didn't see any of the other Tawan guys that were there on my last trip. I spoke briefly with the owner but he seemed tired/distracted. After one drink, I just left. Tahn Tawan This was formerly Tawan/the One. Apparently, a new owner bought over a couple of months back (I'm sure someone mentioned this in another report). The bar was actually crowded, and there were more muscle guys/bodybuilders here than at Atlas. Some of the faces that were at Atlas before came back to Tawan. They had around maybe 15 guys, of which half at least are muscle/bodybuilding type of guys, while the other half is a mix of lean/fit next door guys or average twinks. (The guy who previously played the doorman role is now in rotation) I saw the guy I've offed several times before and decided to off him for that night. Huge bodybuilder guy, solid muscles though not shredded for competitions yet. He told me that he and several others left Atlas because apparently Atlas is trying to cater more to clients who prefer twinks (though from the my earlier visit, hardly seems that way). The new owner of Tawan apparently is a nice guy and flexible with the models. I had a good muscle worship session with him, followed by a good, passionate sex. Greetings from the Land of Smiles! I am now in Bangkok after spending five days in San Francisco visiting old friends and colleagues. I do not plan to report as detailed as I did back in October/November, but will share some tidbits along the way. Since I will be here for seven weeks, a detailed ‘blow by blow’ (pardon the pun) feels like it will be boring and tiresome to read. Although it was cold and wet in SF, I did enjoy getting to spend time with my friends, eating at some of my favorite restaurants, and even managed to take in a play. I was shocked by the overall condition of San Francisco these days. So many businesses have closed. Entire blocks filled with empty store fronts. Even the entire Westfield mall in downtown was completely shuttered. Market Street was more like a ghost town than a bustling hub of excitement and energy. To be honest, it was quite depressing to see. Flight on Singapore Airlines was great, although we did experience a fair amount of turbulence the first couple of hours due to that severe weather system hitting California. The cabin was very comfortable and service exceptional. I believe I said this on my previous trip as well, but the customer service of Asian carriers is superior to anything you find on US carriers…even in first class. The long 17+ hour flight went far quicker than I thought, and we actually arrived in Singapore about 30 minutes early. My connecting gate for Bangkok was in the same terminal and an easy 7 or 8 minute walk. Could have easily made the short connection, but after being confined for 17 hours it was good to move around and explore the airport. So much to see and experience. Flight to Bangkok was a short 90 minutes, although what seems to be more the norm at Suvarnabhumi these days, air traffic control had us circling for a good 15 minutes before the actual landing. Immigration was packed and seemed to be short on staff. I opted for the seniors priority lane which only took around 20 minutes. No problems, and got my stamp for 60 days. Had to wait less than ten minutes for my luggage to appear, then off to the limo service, S & P, recommended by a forum member. I used them in October and it was a great experience, so opted to use them again. Aside from the usual Bangkok traffic, I arrived at the condo and was ready to get settled in. For the short stay in SF I was living out of my luggage, which I hate. In the condo I was actually able to unpack, put things away, and get myself organized. Since my flight arrived at 11am, I was determined to stay awake all day so I would sleep well that first night and my body clock would adjust quicker. I discovered that trick back in October and it worked well. You all might remember that I made quite the connection with a therapist from Paradise in October. Never had such a stressful start to a holiday... While I was on the train to the airport (the travel time from my home to the airport is over two hours), I saw that the plane that was supposed to fly me from Amsterdam to Doha was still in Doha. According to Qatar Airways, the delay would be about five hours. With a three-hour layover in Doha for my flight to Bangkok, I was already getting a bit grumpy. I wouldn't make that connection. But the closer I got to the airport, the more negative the news became. Missile attacks in Doha and the surrounding region. Check-in wasn't open yet at the scheduled time. I had to come back in an hour because there was still no news about whether the flight would even go ahead. And the delay had now increased to eight hours. Just before the hour was up, I received an email from Qatar Airways. My flight had indeed been canceled. My gut feeling told me I had to act quickly and find an alternative flight. Because many people will do that. I managed to book the last seat on a direct KLM flight at a reasonable price. Departure in about three hours. Perfect. Go straight to check in. In the past, I always avoided direct flights from Europe to Bangkok. Sitting on a plane for twelve hours straight seemed like a real nightmare. And indeed, it was twelve long hours. Economy class. There was plenty of legroom, and the food tasted good. But still. Eventually, I couldn't quite figure out how to sit anymore. I started to get a bit of back pain. One advantage: despite the departure time being later than my original flight with Qatar, I arrived in Bangkok hours earlier because it was a direct flight. Arrival in Bangkok went very smoothly. There were no lines at all at immigration. I was able to walk straight through. And by the time I'd gotten money from the ATM and purchased a SIM card, my suitcase was already on the conveyor belt. I reached Silom by taxi (fixed 600baht including toll) without any traffic jams. And when I tried to check in at Le Méridien around noon, they already had a room available for me. Wonderful. A bit of positivity after a stressful start to the day. A short nap turned into a few hours' sleep. And even after that, I felt tired. Of course, I'd turned on Grindr in the meantime. It was also completely unplanned but when accidentally while looking for something else I spotted very attractive package of flight , centrally located hotel with breakfast and transfer from and to airport, all of the sudden I had urge to see what changed in 47 years since my last visit there. I was not planning to write anything but was encouraged to do so by few members and I yielded to pressure , lol, And I’m glad I did although not entirely for right reasons – I’m great lover of ruins and sadly a lot of building stock in Havana are ruins or about to become ones and still plenty of them are inhabited. Still there are plenty of pockets of grand edifices already renovated or being in process of. Thus city is full of contrasts where ruined or half ruined building is standing next to shiny place/ hotel / museum and often stretch of street with piles of uncollected garbage taking half of her width after few steps becomes clean, neatly paved block of cafes and restaurants. Parts of city further from Old City like Vedado and Miramar are much neater but also less interesting . I felt in love with the city and chances are I will visit next year as well as week ( 6 full days, arrived late evening on day 1 , departed early morning on day 8 ). There are few paradoxes which ,make city quite unique. First , its dirty, streets are full of rubbish which is being collected but obviously not fast enough and still in all my day long walks here and there I did not see single rat while in Bangkok, shiny capital of much more developed country hardly evening stroll along Silom or Suriwong goes without spotting one. Second, despite police being rarely visible- I don’t think I saw 2-3 cops in my week there city is very safe and it needs to be said , more dark and uninviting street looked, more safe and undisturbed I felt. I’m not kidding you. Sure, it must be crime , one evening I noticed I’m followed but people on the street seem to ignore tourists passing by. Of course there are bloody exceptions – Central Park, all 4 plazas in Old City and Obispo – pedestrianized street connecting Central Park and Plaza de Armas in old City. There one is harassed without mercy and Havana hustlers are among the worst and most persistent I ever met and believe me , I was here and there . But as I said , solution can be relatively easy – use side street to reach your destination and you will be left alone. Few practical information : Internet – in hotel it was very poor and after day of trying without success I gave up. Simply because I had solution at had- SIM card purchased in the airport for 7$ for 7 days, worked very well without glitch. Of course because of idiotic American embargo certain sites were out or reach i.e. e-bay , but I could get to this forum without any issues, e-mail worked, Grindr worked but closest profiles I could see were from Key West 90 miles away. Food- situation much better than I expected. Bangkok this is not but restaurants are in all tourist frequented places and simple snacks and even pastries can be purchased almost everywhere. Quality may not necessarily be highest and serving tastiest but all what I had was edible plus at least. Meal in private restaurant on one of plazas , count on 10 $, if you find government one , I will be half of that. No, I did not have any stomach problems. Breakfast in hotel was surprisingly varied, at least 4 kinds of cold cuts, delicious if one likes salt but beacon was excellent , so not for one second in my wanderings was I hungry. Beer was surprisingly good for less then 1$ and can be purchased in myriad simple stores opened by everybody whenever aunt Rosita sends parcel from Miami. Best beer was Bucanero Max, quite strong one at 6.5 %, there were also lesser known Spanish and Dutch beers for sale along with some of locally produced which I venture to say taste better than American or Canadian stuff. Stuff I did no see for sale was toilet paper and tea so better bring your own. Apart from hotel room only toilet where I saw toilet paper was in the airport but public toilets whenever I went were reasonably clean and maintained. If there’s attendant , she will expect some ‘donation.’. Money, official rate is about 120 peso ( CUP ) / USD but I doubt anybody is exchanging at that rate. Only exchange counter I saw was in the airport. Street rate is slightly above 400, I was exchanging at 435. If somebody quotes you attractive like 500 – be prepared you will be cheated. Guy who carried my suitcase to the room told me ‘don’t exchange money on street “ and he was right as I learned next morning to my peril. Best way is to find driver or restaurant proprietor, even better host of casa particulare (bed and breakfast ), in short some place where you can count your money. Another solution is to bring plenty of low denomination of USD and use it for payments, restaurants may give you change in local money – I paid 6000 bill with 20 $ note , they gave me change in pesos. Foreign coins are useless , euro often is taken 1: 1 with USD so not very economical. Getting around: Local transport – there are local busses but I did not use one and while crowded , certainly not overwhelmingly so like sometimes shown in You Tube . From Park Central there are 2 tourist busses hop-on, hop-off type , one T1 goes around the city stopping at 20+ various attractions , another one T3 goes to Eastern Beaches and it’s handy to get to Morro castle on other side of Havana bay. Both cost 10$ for a day so you . Bicycle taxis are everywhere and 2 hours city tour I took on 1st day for 10$ was one of best things I did as I gave me great idea where various places of interest are. There are regular taxis , fees negotiable. And finally crown of them all – classic American cars from 50ties which can be renter for tour but also as ordinary taxi. There are tons of those and if you are ancient car lover there’s no better place in the entire world than Havana to indulge. 1 hr drive 25-30 $ more tomorrow, may be even it will be some gay stuff

Last year was my first visit to thailand and I had a kit of fun so this year I decided to come a bit longer and do pattaya and bangkok. This report only focuses on pattaya. I was a bit unsure if I wanted to take a taxi so I decided to hire a driver from nams lady drivers. Which was the right decision. They were waiting for me when I arrived and had a comfortable car waiting for me. Drive was pleasant. I would highly recommend. I also booked them for my transfer to bangkok, which was another great experience, I booked the agate. I had a crystal pool room I believe, on the back side of the resort. Night time was very quiet no noise from the bars was heard. Staff were friendly. No issues with guests, able to come right up with me. first day I stopped at soda massage. I picked a boy who was sitting down and off we went. Soda massage has a shared shower room, cabins are smaller but adequate with dim lights. You can however hear everything in the cabin as next to you, as I heard a guy negotiating a price with the boy he had. I didn’t negotiate any extras in the beginning. Massage was mostly light strokes after flipping boy gave me price however I’m sure he knew what price was negotiated next door cause he didn’t try to quote higher. I accepted. Surprisingly he was verse and we had a fun time showered in the room with another guy showering aswell. Back to my hotel for a quick nap to recover from my long flight. After I woke up I messaged a Thai guy on Grindr and had he come over for some fun. I then headed over to the best bar for the show, this is a cabaret show, mostly drag queens lip syncing. This is my one gripe in these bars. The queens lip sync based on the sounds from the music, they do not know the English lyrics. I feel it would be much better if they lip synced to Thai songs. I highly doubt it bothers anyone else but it’s a little thing I notice, show was ok, I wasn’t really impressed. next day I did some sight seeing and did some exploring, walked around the area I was staying, visited the gay beach and just get a general feel for the area. I booked the Tiffany Cabernet show for the evening. This show I truly enjoyed. The musical numbers were great. The outfits amazing, and the giant led screens that cover the entire back of the stage really immerse you into the performances. Was mostly a Chinese audience and everyone really enjoyed the show. I did end up taking pictures with a lot of the cast after its 100 baht per performer. The lip syncing was great here. In the evening I went to m2m bar for the cabaret show, this show is really well choreographed. The lead boy is really good looking, I have seen him in videos and got lucky as he had just returned to the show after a 3 month trip in France. I got there just before the show was about to start and it was empty, however after 5-10 minutes the bar filled out with people arriving for the show. after the show I went on Grindr and a boy messaged me who turns out was a Massage boy from a massage shop two doors down from agate. I decided to do massage at shop with him. We had a great time massage+ was 1200 all in. I had a great time however he kept pushing to massage in my room next time, still not sure why. Next I went to Koh larn, I booked a tour which included speedboat transfer, sea walking, snorkelling, couple hours on the beach and lunch. All in was 1600 which I felt was quite fair, I’m sure if you looked around you could get cheaper. The sea walking was really fun and is something I would likely do again. after I got back I was tired and basically just slept the massage boy from the previous day messaged me again saying he wanted to see me again, I had a great time so I decided to:meet up:with him again for another good time. will continue in a bit, just have to move laundry to dryer.

Day 8 Bangkok Well, as the saying goes, too many men and too little time. Realized when I went down for breakfast this morning at the hotel that tomorrow is Friday and I will transfer from Ibis Silom to the tour hotel in the afternoon for the beginning of the next part of my adventure. There are still so many different massage shops I had hoped to try that are not even going to make it on the short list, which is very sad and disappointing. Now that I have also dipped my toe into the world of clubs, it has wet my appetite to check out some of the others. I am afraid these adventures to explore more will have to wait for another trip. There will be some ‘down time’ on the tour where you can opt out of certain experiences, and I may take advantage of that while still in Bangkok. Once we are on the road going to different communities, not sure what mischief I may get into, but am definitely planning to keep my options open. Already know when we reach our final destination of Chiang Mai that I want to visit Aqua CNX and Classic House. Also mentioned to Woody about possibly going to the club there, Adams Apple, if we have time. Anyway, planning to lay low this morning at the hotel and probably sleep a little more. Not sure what time Paradise young man will contact me, but expect that won’t be until later afternoon or early evening, which gives me a little time to play during the afternoon. lol. Had a lazy morning hanging out at the hotel. Was not sure if I wanted to venture out for fun or not. Had mixed feelings about whether the meeting with my Paradise guy was actually going to happen. You just never know about these things. Was hopeful that all would go according to plan, but trying to be realistic at the same time. As it turns out, there was no need to be worried or concerned. He lives about 50 minutes by motorbike outside city center. Sent me a message via LINE to let me know he was going to head my way around 2pm. Ask if he had a swimsuit and told him if he did to bring it. If not, we would go and buy one. He had one. Since he was coming for the afternoon, I decided against venturing out and getting into any more mischief. At the recommendation of @vinapu, had the lunch special of cashew chicken at my hotel. For me, it was the best of all three locations. Had no mushrooms whatsoever, plenty of white meat chicken and cashews along with red, green, and yellow peppers as well as onion. Also came with a fried egg, which was a nice touch. By the time ‘Sam’ arrived it was close to 3pm. Came up to the room, we changed into swimsuits, and went up to the rooftop to enjoy the pool and relax. Ordered a couple of appetizers to snack on as well. He said he had already had lunch, but wasn’t 100% sure he was being honest with me. Knew it would be awhile before any dinner, so couldn’t hurt to have a couple of things to snack on. He also had a beer…I stayed with my Thai tea. Was just a nice change of pace and relaxing afternoon. Eventually headed back down to the room where we proceeded to enjoy a shower together, some play time, serious cuddle time, short nap, then headed out to explore the night market and find a place to have dinner. Just a nice relaxing evening compared to what I have been putting my body through the rest of my trip. lol. Decent restaurant on Silom not far from Night Market. Had some Sea Bass soup and Wagyu grilled steak. I am not a big seafood lover, but actually enjoyed the soup more than the steak. Sam preferred the steak. He also enjoyed another bottle of Chang. He was so polite and really over-protective of me while we were out walking around. Wanted to make sure I was ok and having a good time. I was enjoying the attention and the affection. Headed back to the hotel for some more playtime before falling asleep with my arms wrapped tightly around him. Magical, blissful evening for me…hopefully for him as well.

No , absolutely you were not cheapskate. While those days quite a few boys may ask 4000 or 5000 for overnight, certainly that should not be a case when boy is staying with you for several days for two reasons : a/ you are fully entitled to substantial volume discount as boy secures income for that same period b/if boy stay with you , not only you will pay off fee but for his meals and entertainment. You both go to the bar - you pay yours and his drink so 500 becomes 1000 etc. while 2500 / day may be on lower side is still very reasonable and I'd say 3000 is absolute maximum. fact that you paid him 5000 to avoid scene is OK but after that you made two serious mistakes - buying his meal and paying for his barber. Nothing wrong with that in general but not after you have feeling you already overpaid him for your overnight session. Good to hear you regained your sense and refused taxi money, I would be using plain language " I already gave you enough ( or plenty ) " - this is what I say when they ask for taxi money. If you , God Almighty forbids , go with your plan , expect more of that day after day to a point that you will wonder who really is in charge of your space and time. It's different story to take boy for a trip when both of you are travelling which is different dynamics than host and overstaying welcome guest Do you really want to play host to somebody who treats you that way and gets paid for that ? four advices from me since you asked although I have my doubts you had me in mind when you said 'learned forum members" : A/ if sex is great engage him for overnights or short times as often as you wish, pay him and send him home after each session but forget about having him as permanent resident as fast it will become taking toll on you and your vacation time due to need to entertain him and bar with his antics B/ invite him ( or any other boy you meet) for a meal and pay for his taxi but ONLY if you feel like , not because he asks. Otherwise taxi money of 100 today will become 300 by next Wednesday etc. C/ do not be concerned about him losing face with his friends. You are on vacations , not on boys therapeutic session. You know the ritual—take a seat, sip your drink, stop yourself from choking from your drink and attempt the impossible: picking just one guy from a sea of gorgeous. It’s like being on the judging panel of Thailand’s Next Top Something. Then I spotted him—stocky, toned, with a broad build that reminded me of the Saboten Escorts in Tokyo. Siem Reap – ruin seekers and boy hunters friendly city I wanted to visit both Siem Reap and Phnom Penh on this trip in any order but since there was direct flight to Siem Reap on my planned day I went there first. I mentioned it may times that Angkor ruins is my ultimate travel destination and in my heart Siem Reap is one of world’s greatest cities , not provincial backwater which in fact it really is. On second thought I may take it back though since city supports no less than 4 gay bars . Anyways after one hour I landed in the new airport which turned super efficient. It took exactly 23 minutes from moment I stepped out of plane to moment airport bus started rolling. Enough time to clear immigration and buy SIM card. Few day later out former poster Z909 achieved the same in 21 minutes. Sim card 5 $ for 7 days, airport bus 8$. It took about 50 minutes to get to the city and that trip was graced by beautiful sunset. In the bus terminal I got tuk-tuk or remork to my hotel for 1$ and driver sensibly suggested we exchange WhatsApp in case I need his services in the coming days. My hotel, Chaetata was short walk to Pub street, but location was quiet. By time I settled it was evening already so I took tour of the center with intention to check at least 2 of the said 4 bars. BBall is in quiet street close to old Market, there were few boys sitting outside and one of them turned to be one I’m watching on Grindr for a while so obviously I parked myself beside even if he was drinking with some local girl. Sensibly , he suggested we exchange WhatsApp as well just in case. I was discreet enough not to mention anything that I know him from Grindr but sensible enough to mention I’m not averse to get closer to boys I like. During my 1.5 hrs in bar there were 3 or 4 other customers stopping for a drink. Next stop was GOD (Guys On Display ) in small alley north of Pub Street. I was hoping to see there another guy I’m watching on Grindr , lets call him XC for this narrative . From his profile I knew he frequents both of those bars, but he was not there. Few customers inside and they actually had a show , ladyboys lip synching but songs were excellently selected , for which I rewarded DJ with 10000 (2.5$). Two gin and tonic later I noticed it’s midnight so decided to call it a night but little I know. Walking to hotel I checked my messages and there was one from BBall guy asking if I have any stamp collection he can see. Being bit under influence I confirmed, gave him name of my hotel and by time I got there I noticed remork stopping at the door and it was him already . Benefits of being in small city I guess. Session was quite pleasant but he was also bit under influence and made impression he is in rush , not sensing that’s something I don’t rally like. So when he asked about repeat tomorrow I was very vague in my response. In the morning I messaged my remork driver if he can be at 8 a. at my hotel, response was positive and immediate. My goal today was to crown my Angkor exploration over years with last temple of size I never visited – Phnom Bok. She is atop of quite steep hill , some distance from main complex , well past Banteai Samre temple , one of my most favorite, chiefly because is never crowded. First we went to buy a ticket. I opted for 3 day ticket , now it can be used in any three days in consecutive 7, improvement over previous 3 days in row. It cost 37 $ for 1 day , 62 for three days and 78$ for seven days within month. It was quite long a steep climb to the temple with little shade but, aided with two cans of beer I bought in the parking lot , I made it , rewarded with having 1000 years old structure all to myself. Only when coming down other tourists showed up , both half of my age , so when that asked how hard walk up is , I answered ’ If I could make it, so will you” Since Banteai Samre was on our way I explored that temple as well. From there quite long drive to all there temples in Rolous group. Getting to Bakheng temple I was bit frozen as it looked very crowded but luck was on my side. There were three buses parked and their content was already coming back so I got that bit temple to myself or at least I thought so until in some nook I noticed two 20-something guys who obviously were exploring that solitude by getting quite close to each other but still within limit of decency i.e. clothed. “Don’t worry” said I and “danke shoen” was the answer so my guess is they weren’t Greeks or Spaniards. In the evening I wanted to check other two bars I did not visit yesterday. “Rendezvous” was first. Few twinky hosts inside , two occupied with customers, others weren’t my type and obviously neither I was their as I was largely ignored other than taking my beer order. Next one was Barcode, quite packed with very mixed crowd . I got my gin and tonic, watched a bit of show and noticed that one of their waiters is giving me quite long looks. Stupidly I did not explore that option but decided to check GOD gain, hoping XC will be there. He was, bit changed since I saw him just post-covid but change was for good i.e. l face become more manly. He did not remember me , not surprising given it was 4 years ago. I bought him drink, then another for old times sake but it become clear nothing materialize today or perhaps ever. He mentioned he wants to go to some club but there was no offer “ you want go too?” and I got a hint. Bar was very crowded and among patrons I noticed familiar faces. Two French guys who used to run short lived coffee shop by Tawan bar in soi 6. I went to re-introduce myself. They did not recall me by my look but when I told them I’m vinapu they smiled broadly. And explained why – I posted something they liked so much that tat quoted me that post from memory. So XC can feel vindicated , he forgot me , I forgot my own post. It was great time at GOD, even if I went home empty handed. Which kind of worked for me as I had good night sleep. More from Siem Reap to come

In the morning breakfast in Foodland , Jason was already there. Updated us about karaoke preparations. Lunch at Sarica, again 5 members congregated – Kram, Ichigo, Jason 1975, Enchanted Elixir and what is his name? oh, I know, vinapu. We agreed to meet at 8 in Banana outside and go for karaoke from there. I, tormented by jet lag went to hotel, fixed alarm for 7.30 and collapsed on the bed, Jason organized everything. It needs to be said it was my first karaoke ever. He offed 3 boys, including one of my Midnight bar favorite hosts P and our congregation met at Banana then we marched to soi 6 to Club where room was ready for us. . We ordered some drinks and Burmese food and singing started. I was surprised to discover that all three boys have quite nice voices and their singing went very well. D showed up after a while as well. I liked whole experience and I’m eternally grateful to Jason for putting it all together. P kept me company all that time for which he was decently tipped, glad to notice D was not jealous. Rightly so because at end of day it was him who got invited to check my stamp collection again. I sensed P was bit disappointed. After 3 hours part was over , we went to Foodland for a late supper. At 4 am D announced he needs to go as he needs to pick up his cousin from the airport. I was not happy to hear that and for a moment thought “ is our party over for good with such antics “ but resigned to my fate. Haste to say that , while poorly handled , it was likely legitimate excuse as our subsequent meetings after I returned to Bangkok went without glitch . Breakfast at Foodland, Jason was there already. He is going back home today but we will be meeting in Singapore tomorrow evening we agreed . If you recall from day one, I met L at Prince but we couldn’t communicate since because I did not have my phone with me. Luckily today I spotted him on Grindr , messaged him and invited to my room at 5 pm. Greet two hours together. It turned out he lives close to my hotel. After he left I packed my stuff for tomorrow’s flight to Singapore and decided to leave most of my stuff in suitcase in the hotel. I love to travel light. At 9pm meeting with ichigo and another member at Banana. It was time to say good byes to both, Ichigo went home as he felt bit under water and another member and me trekked to Good Boys. Instantly we become object of attention but today it was offing time for me as I had other ideas. But bought a drink for Burmese boy I offed few times in the past . I keep him in high regard because when he was in Jupiter he has distinction of being first ever Jupiter boy who smiled at me. After we left I send message to L asking if he is able to return to my room for another round. Answer was immediate and positive and since he lives nearby we both arrived at the lobby at the same time. I needed some consolator before flying to Singapore for the first time in my life in the morning .

Part 2/2 Arena - I visited here once and had the same guy from my previous trip. I noticed that his massage skills have improved from the last session, so I asked him why and was told that he had attended some classes since my last visit. Sure, it is probably not at the level you would expect at a decent massage spa, but good enough for Arena 😁. The afters were decent, as he already knows what I like from my last visit. There were about 10 guys when I visited in the evening on a weekend, mostly mature lean or muscular guys. I did get the VIP room which, honestly, wasn't great. It made me wonder how the normal rooms are 😅 Total cost: THB 900 plus + THB 1000 tips for the boys. KMan - I went here once during a weekday. I texted them on Line about 40 mins before to book "L" but on the way there, I was told that "L" didn't reply to their texts and might not be available. They suggested that I select those who are available when I reached the shop. Once I reached, I was shown a few available options but none of which are my type. I asked about one other guy, "Zack", but was told he would only be available much later. Eventually, I decided to leave without taking up their service. The manager (I think?) did warn me that with "L", he is rather unpredictable/unreliable. On this occasion, he apparently had too much to drink last night and only woke up a few minutes before I reached the massage center 🤣. I recently posted a thread about looking for suggestions for H type spas for my upcoming trip. I completed my trip so here's my trip report. Admittedly, I had a fairly aggressive plan to collect as many stamps as possible in a short time. I only had a few days before my friends arrived and one day after they left. I had many successful encounters and a few average ones. My goal was to find full service H type spa, specifically looking for masseurs who are tops. I've been a top for most of my life, but I've been exploring life as a bottom recently. Day 1 I started with a trip to Fafa Spa with a 90 min massage with Bird. As with many of the guys I encountered this trip, his photo on Fafa's Line account was better than reality but he was still very attractive in person. While his skills as a top were not the best, we did have quite a bit of fun, so much so that 90 min turned into 2 hours. The room was decent. It had a massage table and a bed, but no in room shower. Ended up paying 3000 Baht for 2 hours including tip. Next, I ventured to Saphan Khwai to One Spa where I met with Midai. Had a good time with him, but he was only a bottom even though I asked if he could top me when I booked. Disappointing but I still managed to have a good time. The "VIP" room was large but basic - a massage table and a few spartan decorations, along with a shower room attached. Paid 1750 Baht total. I continued down the street and ended up at Phoenix Spa where I met "Daonuea" (sp?). I let myself stray from my goal of meeting only gay/bi guys and I booked based on his pic instead of confirming if he was gay or straight. He did top me but in a very sterile way with little to no kissing. My visit to Phoenix last year produced two fun experiences but this one was lacking. It was partly my fault for not sticking to the plan and meeting a straight guy. The room was basic but it had a massage table and a shower room. I lucked out and got a 200 Baht deal for the hour and I gave him a 1000 Baht for the tip but he "hinted" that he wanted more so I gave another 200... So 1400 Baht total. And I ended the night by stopping into Phet Boy/Love Boy on my way back to the metro. I don't recall the name of the guy I met there but we had fun. He successfully topped me and was engaging. The atmosphere was lacking with the least attractive layout of the spas - just a mat on the floor and a shared shower. That said, the experience was the best of the day and the price was great, a total of 1800 Baht. Day 2 I ventured over to Brother Massage near Huai Khwang MRT station. I met with Toomtam. Had a great experience and yes, Brother Massage is definitely an H type spa. The room was a typical small spa room with barely enough room for the table and a small space to walk around it. The shower was down the hall. Toomtam gave a nice massage wearing just a towel. Since the room was tiny, he stayed very close to me at all times, including while passing near my hands at the sides of the table. It didn't take long for me to realize that he didn't have anything on under the towel and therefore the towel didn't stay on him for long. Soon, we were trading stamps like there was no tomorrow. He more than satisfied my wants and needs. Total for the massage and tip was 1640 Baht. If I had more time or had been smarter with my time and Grab/Bolt usage, I would have returned for another visit. The downside of this spa is it's location away from the more common touristy areas but it is worth the effort. Definitely the best of the day. Next up was Mencare Spa at the Tivoli hotel. It's sort of near Lumphini MRT but it's still a bit of a hike. This was not worth the effort, IMHO. The facility seemed dead. It felt like it was only used on a by-appointment basis. Kind of makes sense considering the location. The massage was very straight forward with no sensual touches. About 20 minutes before the end, the masseur asked/confirmed if I wanted extras. We fooled around but it was very awkward and mechanical. I only tried this place because I had heard good things but this was not my experience. Total paid was 2700 Baht. Definitely not worth it. I spent the rest of the afternoon wandering around the area making my way towards Silom. I got a pedicure and "window shopped" at S'Sense and Prince Spa but decided they were not what I was looking for. S'Sense seemed like it was not going to be an H Type spot from what I had read (could have been wrong?) and Prince was more expensive than I was willing to spend for guys who were not really my type. Definitely an H type location though. I decided to regroup, freshen up at my hotel and make plans for the evening. I ended up at Jey Spa and met Jame. I had a very good experience with Jame but not necessarily a great one. The sex was very nice but it still felt a bit mechanical. IIRC, I booked for 90 minutes but we were finished in 60 min. I paid a total of 3250 Baht. Day 3 I returned to Fafa Spa and met with Toto. End up in the same room as the other day, which was fine. Once again, reality was not quite as shiny as the photo but I kind of expected it. Toto was decent but not as good as Bird. He had trouble staying hard and used his phone to watch straight porn. I understand that I'm not everyone's cup of tea so I didn't let it distract me too much. He topped me for a few minutes here and there but it seemed like too much work so I made the best of it but I made sure to finish in the allotted time instead of going over like last time with Bird. Total paid was 2300 Baht. I moved out of my hotel and into my AirBnB in Silom that I was sharing with my friends who were arriving that evening. After settling into the AirBnB, I ventured out to explore and I stopped by Silom Plaza, home to Arena, Best Massage and the new Titan Spa. I was looking for something quick, more of an S type spa, so I settled on Best Massage. They had a guy outside who was just my type, tall and lean with floppy hair. lol I made my appointment with him quickly and I asked him for a b2b massage within a few minutes of the start of the massage. We settled on his price and commenced with the stamp collecting. Total paid was 2000 Baht massage and tip. I took a look at Titan before I left Silom Plaza. Looked rather expensive and I hadn't heard if they were an H type spa so I was glad I paid less for probably a similar experience at Best. I'm sure the facilities are nicer at Titan but it just wasn't worth it for me. Since I had plans to go to the airport later, I tried to book something at Ganymede Spa but they were basically unresponsive to my Line requests. I received one acknowledgement of my text but they never really followed up on my inquiries so I gave up on them and decided to head back to Saphan Khwai and go to K Man Spa. Boy, and I glad I did! I had the best experience of all the spas so far. I made an appointment with "Mr. A". I had been to this spa on a previous trip so I booked a 2 hour session in one of their VIP rooms. The room had a solid massage table the size of a twin bed. The in-room shower was a modular unit, kind of a portable shower rather than a shower room. It was sufficient. Mr. A's massage was well paced and included some sensual touches here and there, more as time went on. The 2 hour session was a nice build up to the main event. We really clicked when it came time to play with our stamp collection. It ended up being a very passionate session. Neither of us spoke the other's language but we still communicated very well. It was a very explosive session and satisfying in every way. I was dizzy by the grand finale. lol Total paid was 3000 Baht and worth every last Baht. At this point it was time to go to the airport and collect my friends so we could start our vacation together, so I headed to the airport. Some recent updates. I try to visit at least one new place each time I come to Thailand, and this time I had decided on Hua Hin. There is a bus that can take you from North Pattaya Bus Station directly to Hua Hin Bus Station, but only runs once a day, departing at 15:30. The cost is 473 THB (plus 50 THB online booking fee) and is a similar bus I took to Pattaya that had a comfortable 1-2 seat configuration. The bus left exactly on time and took just under 4.5 hours to arrive. Upon arrival, as the bus station is a little far from the centre, you can take a shuttle (minibus) that will take you to the clock tower for free, or if you pay 100 THB, the minibus will drop you off at your hotel. I chose the latter. I decided on the Hilton as it was well-located and had a nice sea view. The room was big and well-decorated, however there was no bum gun (which always disappoints me when I come across this at hotels in Thailand) and there was construction during the day in the block next door. Around the general area there were numerous restaurants and bars and it felt quite busy whilst I was there. In my last post I noted how the apps were relatively quiet whilst I was in Jomtien, however whilst in Hua Hin, it was a complete opposite. I was getting messages constantly (particularly on Hornet), but whether they were from moneyboys or just horny boys, I'm not sure. Maybe both. One profile piqued my interest - he sent me a message looking for sex, but his profile stated that he was a driver and tour guide, so I made contact and ended up booking a tour with him for the following day. Thinking back on it now, it still seems a bit low considering he was driving me around all day (and comparing it to other tours I've taken in the past where I've paid more for less). I guess the only thing is that due to the language barrier, he couldn't really explain a lot of the detail at the places we visited. He also mentioned that I was his first foreign customer. Whilst driving back to my hotel, considering the app where we first made contact, I invited him to come up to my hotel and you all know what happened next. Sweet guy though and he offered to drive me to the train station the next day where he bought me an iced tea and waited with me for over an hour for the train to come. I think I will go back to Hua Hin at some stage as there is more to explore that I didn't quite get to. Through my research I know that there are 2 gay bars in the area, but I did not patronise either. The train trip back to Bangkok was pretty uneventful, however upon boarding, I seemed to be in the carriage with all the people who insisted on bringing their big suitcases with them (to which there was limited space to store them) so I had to wait in the aisle for a while, whilst people were organising their suitcases as I could not get to my seat. The train was a little late departing Hua Hin and late coming into Krung Thep Aphiwat, but it was a comfortable journey and looking out the window at the countryside is always nice.

I traveled here via Athens, Abu Dhabi then a few dsys near KL. in PP Im staying at Artgur and Paul (excellent choice, btw) and a guy at pool recommended a bar "Asia Cam Bar" about a mile away. The crowd was youngish, mixture of a few foreigners and a few 20 ish muscle types and some very, very 'me' twinks. I suspect some of the locals were looking for money, but it seemed non commercial. 4th trip this year. Yes, I can hear the groans and silent cursing of many forum members. 6 days 5 nights. Thursday to Tuesday. Extended weekend. I decided to take a trip because favourite forum members happened to be in Bangkok at same time. Purposely kept trip a surprise from my regular guy at Freshboys. I concocted an elaborate plan go surprise him because I wanted to see his reaction. The plan was other forum members go into Freshboys first. I will wait downstairs. They will get him to sit with them. They will then blindfold him. Final Observations/Comments While I saw large numbers of foreigners in Bangkok, we really did not run into large groups of tourists until we got to Chiang Rai and Chiang Mai. Both places were overrun with groups and buses. The groups were primarily Chinese, although we did meet groups from Spain, France, and Germany. Also met several groups from South American countries. We met a number of Australians traveling independently or part of smaller groups. Saw no other tour groups from North America. That is not to say they didn’t exist…we just did not cross paths. Chiang Mai has done an excellent job of marketing itself as a vacation destination. However, they do not appear to be well equipped to handle such a large influx of tourists and need to do more to alleviate traffic problems and the overcrowded airport. Personally, I would not return to Chiang Mai because of these concerns. My air travel was booked through United, so most of the travel was directly with United. Denver is a hub for United and Southwest, so my airline choices are very limited when traveling to Asia. However, I did fly EVA from Taipei to Bangkok and Thai Airways from Chiang Mai to Bangkok. I am always impressed with the level of service and the number of cabin crew members on Asian airlines compared to US based airlines. Customer service is definitely not a priority on US carriers when compared to Asian carriers…from my experience. Some people enjoy group tours, while others loathe them and prefer to do their own thing. I do enjoy them at times, and am glad I signed up for this trip. I was able to learn more about Thailand and its history. The guide was very knowledgeable and thorough. Everything was well organized and a variety of activities were included. With the exception of one, all of the hotels were nice, meals good, and staff everywhere were friendly, polite and helpful. Unfortunately, the hotel used in Bangkok at the start of the tour was not one I would recommend…Galleria 10 near Terminal 21/Sukhumvit…was older, inconvenient and somewhat unsafe location, rundown and desperately in need of remodeling. So, my only real complaints about the tour are Bangkok hotel and crowds in Chiang Mai. All in all not a bad trip. I really want to thank forum members for all of their recommendations and suggestions before my trip. Your wisdom and encouragement helped to make my time in Bangkok the highlight of this trip. I stepped outside of my comfort zone and had some new, exciting experiences. Not bad for a 73 year old! Was surprised I still had some of the old adventure in me. As for an update on my love life, I hear from Sam (Paradise) regularly. Nothing serious…just casual chat…but something he wants and no requests for any type of assistance. Just wants to keep in touch and hopes to see me again…soon. No more contact with Grinder #1. Think he got the message I wasn’t interested. Bee and I are continuing to communicate. He says he wants to be boyfriends whether I send him money or not. I am trying to keep an open mind and positive attitude, but really just waiting to see what happens. However I did visit 2 massage parlour with 'that' intention, plus an extra. Phetboy Spa The first massage location I went to is Phetboy Spa. This place is good as they are open 24 hours. From my short enquiry on their line, you do have to book an appointment if you want to select a specific masseur. Due to time constrain I initially though this would be the only location I am able to visit as afternoon to night time is touristing time. When I arrive at the location, there was 2-3 masseur sleeping inside with no customers due to early wee hours. I also came 35 mins earlier than my supposed appointment so I had to wait a while. The reception was great and they showed me the menu on massage available and I picked aroma massage (not that it mattered since the first thing the masseur did was slap oil onto my back). After waiting inside the room for a while, the masseur came in and told me to undress. Simple and clear instructions and then lay face down on the mattress. The masseur did some basic up down massage starting from the leg and upwards and that's the end of the massage. He removed his underwear and pulled me towards his boner. But after a while he went soft and the session ends by me asking him to watch some porn on his phone. After some miscommunication, he self-pumped for less than 5 mins and released. However the dryer will need atleast two runs to dry your clothes. breakfast here is so so I have only had it once. They do have an egg station and can make you eggs anyway you like. They have usual se breakfast options and limited western style options. However they have lots of fruit and an automatic espresso machine. They also have a cafe on site which you get 10% off as a hotel guest which serves bagel sandwiches and drinks/smoothies. they also offer a shuttle to and from the local bts stations. Lots of food vendors around the hotel and walking distance to Senso massage. first day I went to arena massage, I tried this last year based on reading this forum and really liked it, I like the all in pricing and the guys are fun.
