  1. One way to start seeing this is if countries with high daily cases started to see the daily cases going down after enough people got vaccinated. That wont be anytime soon though. A quicker indicator is probably lower new cases amongs frontline workers. Whether thai gov want to use this as evidence, who knows.
  2. As long as boys are still working on the app, i see the closure a non issue especially when we all face similar thing back home. However, over here, some of my regular masseur stopped working when the case are high. Of course these are the ones that are lucky enough to be able to afford not working for a period of time. Others cant afford to, so they are still working, and i really hope they will stay healthy. The regular massage center here still open, with strict regulations and SOP being observed like masks in communal area, masseurs have to wear mask, face cover and gloves, and of course the app and temperature check. The illegal ones operate with closed door, and are at risk of police raid. But there are not travel restriction here, not anymore anyway, as our gov decided we cannot afford to do that anymore.
  3. Do i need baby oil to go with the kleenex?
  4. From huge borders thai have amongst their neighbour to the lax of enforcement for border control of both thai and neighboring countries, to corrupt immigration officers taking tea money to allow border crossing illegally, it does seems impossible. My selfish self wish malaysia wouldve been as bad so that my favorite boys can come here to work (vietnamese, indonesian, thai) but nope, none have come nor brave enough to try. Malaysia thai border are also complicated with lots of jungle in between, though in recent news, illegals crossing both ways are mainly caught at sea. But yeah, border control has been complicated issues here as well, and our third wave which is still on going is believed due to illegals from indonesia and philippines came to the borneo state of Sabah by means of sea travel. When lockdown happened and legal way to enter has been blocked, it only make way to more people taking risk to cross illegally, especially during difficult time like now. Sadly, other neighboring countries arent doing so well either.
  5. Great trip report! That hotel price near christmas and new year is unbelievable. The new hotel near prime definitely intrigued me, since i like my previous stay at nantra silom location but not fancy their cleanliness, and glass windows into the bathroom seals the deal for me lol. Never stayed in tarntawan myself but at 700+ baht, i wont hesitate to try too.
  6. The virus couldve come from many places even if you stayed at home. Couldve come through delivery (food/mail/packages), couldve contracted while they went out for groceries, from someone visiting. Ive seen some of my friends initially even put his packages away for few days before opening during the peak of the outbreak in the states. And ive heard people first disinfecting their purchases right after opening it. Just to add, so far, 4 of my family members had close encounter to this virus. 1 works in healthcare, had to take the test 3 times already. 2 had to work in office, and their colleague were tested positive, so they had to get the test. All of them luckily tested negative. The last one was just this morning, had flu symptom so went for voluntary testing and waiting for result which is probably tomorrow. All of these happened within this month alone. So while the bus driver did over react, i am not surprised at all, especially when he needed to stay healthy to earn a living.
  7. I guess thailand citizen have to wait loner for the vaccine, and indirectly, normal tourism wouldnt happened until then.
  8. There are benefits to launch their own sattelite and i guess having a spaceship but using only 3billion baht (100m USD) isnt that too little? And itll take what they think 8 years. So how does that going to help them recover from the economic effct of this current pandemic?
  9. Based on this notification on fb, seems like they are optimistic about reopening when covid restriction is over?
  10. All of them say soft. Im curious what does soft means. Effeminate? If so, nothing weird about effeminate top? And then there is soft only? Or does soft mean light fun aka hj? So soft only mean no anal, soft top mean can do hj only, or anal top.
  11. Some faces ive seen in a different spa list of boys.
  12. Correct me if im wrong, but each image are 3 photos of the same boy right? Lol because of the first image the 3 photo looks diff with diff hairstyle etc, i get the confusion. But all the subsequent images are fairly similar photos lol. And only one name per image too.
  13. Aww, that is sad michael. Hope u are doing ok and ready for your next boy du jour
  14. #Me too although, at home now, i set it at 24, but when travelling, 22 or lower hahaha.
  15. Its like a dejavu. Malaysia's third wave, which is still going on strong now with 1-2k cases daily, started from illegal immigrants in the borneo state of Sabah. The first few weeks of infections were contained mostly in detention center for the illegal immigrants caught entering the country illegally, mainly from indonesia and philippines. Contact tracing was done but it was difficult to do contact tracing of immigrants as anyone could imagine, since telling the authority means getting caught. The peak of the spread was the local state election there, where plenty of people going to the state from all over malaysia, both politicians and locals who worked in the capital. Not long after, new cases were found almost in every other states and not surprisingly, gov started to impose lockdown. However, this time around, our gov decided that we cant afford a full lockdown, so most businesses are still allowed to be open. Needless to say, nowadays, majority of new cases are at workplace. Few weeks ago, mass testing of foreign workers who lives in dormitories are done by stages. The current measures, wont bring the number of cases to zero again but definitely reduce the infection rate as our daily cases has been kept at a constant rate instead of going up uncontrollably. I hope Thailand will be able to contain this new outbreak. Mass testing is really crucial to avoid a full lockdown.
  16. I was there during their 10th anniversary last year and it was a great night indeed. There were lucky draws for boys and customer alike, each drink will get u a ticket. There were so many gifts that in the end, the boss just asked who havent gotten gift yet and give them a pick of the gift haha. It was definitely a highlight of my trip, got myself a bottle of whiskey for my next visit, which was used in the next few days, with 2 other local friends. One is bar boy but i never off him, knew him as he was offed by a friend, and another is the beach chair attendant that i really like. It was a great way to break the ice with the chair attendant and my bar boy friend was my wingman, that also thought the chair attendant is hot as well lol. Too bad i didnt have the courage to do anything more after the bar visit lol.
  17. There is a reason why stuff are cheap in thailand, and in many of the developing countries, the labor cost are cheap. To implement all of the above suggestions, would mean the industry will have to absorb more costs, that will surely made it to the consumer.
  18. One can argue a select number of female there are also gay, hence wont help much with the imbalance lol
  19. Looking at positive rate vs total tests, its at a staggering 40-50%, hence the actual cases should be much higher. For thailand to continue to contain the virus now, and continue to open their border, they definitely need to increase their testing ability.
  20. Source BANGKOK — Health officials said 548 new coronavirus infections were found in connection with the outbreak at Thailand’s largest wholesale seafood market. All of the new infections – an unprecedented number – were linked to a 67-year-old seafood vendor who tested positive for the coronavirus earlier, Opas Karnkawinpong, Director-General of the Department of Medical Sciences said in a news conference broadcast to all TV channels on Saturday night. About 90 percent of the patients did not display any symptoms, Opas said. He said up to 1,192 people working at the fish market were tested for the coronavirus after the vendor’s infection was discovered. A majority of the new cases are migrant workers, according to Opas. “We are confident that this situation will be brought under control, since the outbreak is limited in its areas,” he said. “Even though we tend to find more cases among the residence quarters of foreign workers, an escalation in the outbreak remains low.” People who have traveled to Samut Sakhon since Dec. 1 are also advised to isolate themselves and monitor for any symptoms. Today’s case number is the largest figure ever recorded since Thailand first witnessed a coronavirus infection back in January. The previous highest daily count of cases was back in March, at 188. The discovery also shattered Thailand’s unique feat of having near-zero local transmissions since the epidemic subsided in May. Samut Sakhon Governor Veerasak Vichitsaengsri said a number of venues will be closed down across the province in a bid to curb the spread of the virus, including shopping centers, schools, nurseries, gyms, and sport stadiums. “The situation is certainly more severe than many of us had thought,” Veerasak said at the news conference. Convenience stores will be shut down from 10pm to 5am, and restaurants will not be allowed to offer dine-in services, except in hospitals and hotels. Samut Sakhon residents are also “requested” to refrain from traveling from 10pm to 5am, though Veerasak did not outright declare a curfew. He added that voting in local elections for Samu Sakhon will still go ahead as planned on Sunday , but facemasks must be worn at all times at the polling stations. “We understand that the measures will cause great inconvenience to the people of Samut Sakhon,” Veerasak said. “But they are necessary to ensure we can all overcome this together.” “Alien nationals,” a term that typically refers to migrant workers, will also be banned from entering or leaving Samut Sakhon, he said. The sprawling wholesale market at the epicenter of the latest outbreak is home to a large community of migrant workers, most of them from Myanmar. Health minister Anutin Charnvirakul said earlier this week the migrant workers might have been responsible for transmitting the virus to the 67-year-old vendor, though without providing specific evidence. Thailand currently has about 4,300 total number of coronavirus infections, most of them having already recovered. Officials said 60 people have died because of the virus.
  21. In some country, sex with minor is still illegal, and can be categorized as statutory rape. No idea how it is in thaliand though.
  22. I can add on malaysia, even though the law criminalizing same sex relationship actually in our law, which has been inherited from UK law, it has rarely been enforced, except for the infamous political scandal of 1998. However, under much lower tier religious state law, there has been some form of enforcement occuring ocassionally, mainly targetting those who do it in public, or based on reports from community, and this is limited to very low fine and jail time, if any. There are however plenth of raids on massage centers, legal or illegal, but most of the time, no charges for the locals since the raids are mainly targetting foreigners who abuse their social visit pass or overstayed their visa to work. Anyway, yes, as long as its not in the open, most people couldnt care less what we do in our bedroom here. Go to any big shopping malls and u can see trans and gays openly dressed as they like and even employed as sales person especially in cosmetic and perfume section. Of course politician has always use lgbt issues as their weapon to get support. Sad but it could be worse.
  23. Wow, for a high end, private live sex show, only usd90? Thats a tell-tale of a scam, too good to be true. Maximum 2 spectator only, paying usd90, thats usd180, and the performers were promised usd100 per hour, up to 4 performer a show? The math didnt add up. Not to mention the price of 4-5 star hotel where to show is happening.
  24. I wonder if we do go to toyboy now and ask the mamasan to have the boys in underwear, will they resist? My gut feeling is they would be happy to do that for a potential customer/off.
