I walked around last week in Manila even went to a nightclub on Friday night in a "dangerous" area according to the grab driver who took me there but I had no problem Can it be dangerous? Some parts of Australia are MORE dangerous, try walking Alice Springs at night , or those outback Australian country towns such as Moree in Australia 🦘, it would be a good introduction to the *locals" I would rather walk Manila at night I didn't find it dangerous and I travelled on the public transport Of course I showed precaution as well ...and danger can happen anywhere... I was in a 711 last night in Jomtien, I was at the fridge area getting water when I overheard a farang probably in his 60's tattoed drunk Australian accent with a bargirl I presume by his side He was loud and I overheard him say to another farang " stop looking at my fucking girl !!!! So situation like that ...I have self awareness I avoided him at the counter where he was paying still swearing fuck that...fuck this etc the bargirl laughing with him ...or at him I thought he he left so went to the counter to pay only to see him come back ..he then shoulder hit another elderly farang on the way to the counter . Just clashed his left shoulder with the guy... ..i was ready though just in case he did it to me Turns out he had left his stuff on the counter and hadn't paid yet ...he stood behind me and was mouthing "fucking dumb cunts all of yas I thought better I was behind him then he behind me so I said .."you can step in front of me bro " Talking to him like a teenager calling him bro made him happy " Oh you are an Aussie cunt too ? He said I let him in front of me He then paid for his beer 🍺 and walked out get fucked ...fuck off .. fuck you etc etc to everyone I guess No doubt he was drunk and looking for a fight so using your senses when in a situation like that ... and danger can happen anywhere

This trip if I hadn't been relatively fit I wouldn't of got through it easily Everything from lifts out to escalator etc , had to carry my luggage 🧳 upstairs several times in Philippines Get my 🧳 out of Grab cars , walk on uneven footpaths etc Railway station steps , balance in the train travel standing up most trips , etc Trying to balance on a train without holding on takes skill People nowadays this generation don't care if your old they will push you , rush for seats etc I don't know how you guys go who are not as fit I try to go to the gym to train to travel 🧳 If your not fit ...please all I ask you to do is ..... exercise 🤸‍♂️⛹️‍♂️⛹️‍♂️🤺

So I'm walking outside the Quarter Silom with my Filipino boyfriend We get approached by a arabic young couple...I smelt a scam so I was cautious My BF talks to everybody , so he stops and talks ,the male asks him about where is a sushi place , then tries to be friendly, do you know a money changer etc ,do you have a cigarette? And can you show me Filipino money ? I keep walking , and stopped away , the female approaches me.."Salamat" ,"where are you from ? I stare at you her face ...I decided to walk off My bf approaches me a few minutes later down the street "You are so rude they were only asking where the sushi and money changers were,! ....and a cigarette .🚬.and to look at Filipino money ! "They were friendly people" , you are so rude walking off !!!! But I smelt a scam...was I right or rude ? This was in the street outside QS

Hotels such as Shangrila don't ask because the reception desk is away from the lifts So you can just walk in and go to the lift But my Airbnb condo reception in Makati did ask for ID ...and I WANT that ...I prefer their ID be recorded

Last Monday night I stayed at Quarter silom And as my Filipino bf likes to talk to everyone, he ended up meeting a young guy 22yo from Sweden whilst doing the laundry washing 🧺 Anyway to cut a long story short , I got talking to the Swedish backpacker guy who had travelled also to India and Philippines and had his Instagram accounts etc he was amateur photographer He had a lot of pics and some with smiling children in the Philippines and India He said something a bit troubling "I can't post the pictures of me standing with the smiling children in India or Philippines as people write nasty comments that I'm a pedophile he said They even DM me he said and write threats I was a little startled 😮 , but he is probably right , lot of crazy people out there making assumptions because some 22yo kid travelling the 🌎 is taking photos Amazing that something so innocent a young guy can be called that because he takes pics with children or young people he is assumed to be a pedo in the West Unbelievable how everyone hates each other in the West and angry making assumptions
