are there really homophobic straight people visiting those places? I'd think that it would be a live and let live sort of attitude 

When I passed by there about 9 last night, the bar had four male visitors being attend to by three young women.

That road used to be predominantly str8 bars during  soi twilight era. Even red dragon bar was manned by lady bartender if im not mistaken. 

In all my visits, bartender was a guy from Myanmar. I’d occasionally see a woman checking the stock and reviewing register transactions but she was manager of Freshboy that was leasing the space.

Freshboy is now leasing the space immediately to right of the stairway that I believe goes by handle of Red Dragon. It’s the bar with pool table that attracts mixed clientele.

Yeah i recalled there were two bars called red dragon before, in the very beginning of patpong becoming gay bars street. I cant recall which ones i was sitting before, and this was pre-covid. Post covid, i never saw any female bar tender anymore lol

There are some gays bars that would celebrate if they got as many as four customers.

ASEAN citizens without work permits (and they comprise the majority) are reporting that the duration of border run trips is increasing due to greater number of people going this route. 

Two companies run the van/bus service to two different Cambodia border crossing points. Even some non-Asian tourists are extending their stays this way.

Ma Ha Massage on Silom Soi 6 has just opened another location near Sukhumvit Soi 71.

 

For those who remember the days when Vietnam performers were well represented on stage at Screw Boy, word has it that four can currently be found across the way at Dream Boy. 

While walking on Soi Thaniya tonight, spotted a cute twink seated among the ladies of the evening outside one establishment. He was wearing the same white tank top and shorts as the others.

 
Not sure if this is a first for Thaniya, but it was for me.

 There are so many groupings of young women on both sides of Soi, could never figure out who were representing what venue. The only thing distinguishing them from one another is their attire.

 I’d be surprised if it signals shift of strategy. I figure it’s just an experiment by one shop to see where it goes. There are already some non-Japanese who like to take one of both sexes back to room. Had a few massage guys tell me they were offed from their shop for that purpose by male/female couple.

On Wednesday  forum delegates numbering three including myself made visit to Moonlight. We arrived just before 10 pm and while inside had kind of shock. Bar was looked  empty with sprinkling of clients here and there. More come just immediately before the show but still I doubt no more than half of seats were ocupied. Even boy'offer was reuced. I eyed two and none of them showed for work at night. 

Floor boys with exception of one were parading fully dressed, only barechested on offer was new and noticeably nervous #13, extremely cute Cambodian. I had other designs but because cuteness and nervousness I decided to perform Vinapu tuck on him twice, on beginning and at departure. Hope he will remeber me in my hour of need. 

Show was new and  energetic, it looks that at the moment Nut becomes lead model and  Babe beccoming  one of line models. Retrofitting in Korean pop star style I'd ot do him any good perhps. 

Models are wearing t-shirts with their names and there were veteras Babe, Nut, Tum, York and Mark and  relatively new, massively built guy Jar.  Nicky seems to be gone for good as was not seen there for a while. No takers for money garlands. 

After the show it was kind of desperate as all spectators, bar 2 or 3 left and boys were visibly deprived hope of getting an off that night. Low season in full swing. I did my part though by asking mamasan to call one of those absent, he showed before end of show but not before asking mamasan to send him picture of client who is calling him. I passed test with thunder because  he arrive all smiles. 

Since Jupiter night before also was under patronized it looks that boys are in desperate  need of our presence and walletts. One I offed on Tuesday is sending " how are you?" messages twice daily. Had his tip requests were more moderate, he would be sitting pretty now because I liked him sort of quite very much but price tag was out of sync.

I believe Moonlight is generally quieter during weekday nights such as Monday to Wednesday.

Agree with you on Nicky. I didn't see him in June either. He's probably not working at Moonlight anymore.

That won,t happen any time soon as from this trip I,m not returning home  , going somewhere else first.

New Foodland opened yesterday in new  building Silom Park on corner of Convent.

Few 2 for  1 deals on opening day . Opened 7/24 and restaurant is serving  the same dishes at the same price as world famous Foodland Patpong including 83 baht breakfast between 5.30 and 9.

According to important looking employee I asked no plans to close old location so now we truly will have a choice.

Looks bigger but somehow it can't compare to Foodland Patpong's vibes. I always get a kick out of spotting guys with their customers through the window when I walk past. Hehe

Yes, at new location restaurant is somewhat in the dark corner. 

Friday evening two of us went to check on Tawan. Bar is small so it's easy to fill and was decently packed. This time I decided right away on he off, asked guy to dress but we still stay for thr show.

Several progressive numbers with botom in ***ck how being not only cute but also outright funny during circulation greting customers from his bit inconvenient position. Solicitation for tips during show never stopped,  but it was still good natured. Quite a few girls in the audience. Right after show finished, bar emptied very fast. 

Since on Fri and Sat they throw another's show  past midnight and managed to allure new clients.

We both found somebody to accompany us to the rooms. 

One thing is for sure- Tawan no longer in just hunks paradise as there is healthy sprinkling of  twinks here an there. 

Saturday, Hot Male beer bar quite empty at 9 but hen started filling. Few new waiters, some really meaning business. Then our delegation numbering two braved stairs to upstairs gogo. At 9.30 almost empty  several boys on stage, some quite attractive. Closer to the show spectators start crowding in. 

So early bird gets the worm as my companion did. I had somebody else in mind, so asked to call him over. Soon enough he showed up and our quarted left mid show, each duo their own way.
