I like Kiss it's unpretentious restaurant with large selection of dishes for every taste in very reasonable rates. The metal tables restaurant on second road near Boyz Town is more suitable to the local taste then to falangs I like theirs sea food  and Freid rice dishes.  I agree Abomb is underrated they have the most handsome guys in Pattaya although I read many negative reviews of forum members in this bar , Can't comment on that because never offed a guy from there. 

 

Day 16

 When we checked time in the morning it was already 9.30 am . Since I expected Christian PFC with taxi at 11 am I told N we are skipping breakfast, tipped him for his troubles , we freshened up showering together ,  he left and I start packing. Good thing those fruits I bought yesterday by TukCom, they made for very healthy and tasty  breakfast.

Another advantage of Classrooms is that some items they charge for like toiletries including condoms and lube, minibar items like beer or cola carry little mark up  so if your guest will drink beer or water it will not ruin you . I had about 160 invoice for those I settled when leaving as both gentlemen were on the dot.

We arrived in BKK very fast , at 1 pm I was already on reception at Furama Sathorn , another of my few favorite digs. This time I was not upgraded (last 2 times I was without even asking) but room was big and comfortable enough with kitchenette but no couch.

 Not having breakfast I was bit hungry so went to Charoen Krung soi 49 to have their pizza for the last time this trip. From there by bus to Silom and straight to soi 6 to have massage with N. It’s against advices saying massage first , food after but today it worked well. Great boy and great massage , if only he wouldn’t be so prolific sending Line messages with speed of machine gun.

He had small complain saying I promised him 5 nights and we had only 3 so far which came out of blue. While I don’t mind 5 nights I wouldn’t  make such specific promise so nice try I thought.

 At 9 pm we arranged small gathering of forum members  present in Bangkok -  reader , anddy , Jason 1975 and me had dinner at G’Bangkok together and lively conversation subject of which you can easily guess. As I said before  I have hots for one of Banana barkers across and today it was sign that he started noticing it. Longest trip starts from the first step.

Bit too late as tonight is my last night this trip and for some reason , never shy , somehow I’m shy approaching him. Even I laugh at myself thinking about that. I think it’s because I like him more for personality than physical attributes so it’s like bit different kind of attractiveness. Or may be because I saw him with girl few times and I’m afraid of failure. Anyways we had a bit of remote fun across the soi.

Jason suggested we will help him to finish bottle he had opened in Jupiter another day so we decided to go there, only reader had another plans and it was our trio which went there.

 We  watched  all three boy parades, first in briefs , second in boxers and last one in jeans but with numbers  , invited few boys to seat with us. If was funny to see contrast, when they do their walkabout their faces are  frozen and disinterested but as soon as they seat  with us , all were friendly, behaving normally  and  somewhat clingy. One I invited even asked me to help him with drinks as Jason organized some card game with losers required to drink half shot. He seemed  even interested but for some reason I was not in the offing mood there. Anddy was even bit surprised I’m so reluctant but somehow I was.

 Left empty handed , I went to Hot Male but at that time their selection was very limited and none of guys appealed to me so I circled area once or twice, looked again at Banana barker busy inviting passerby’s to his bar and decided to call night off. Lonely , alone  and just me .

 Not for lack of choices as I’m sure I could get somebody at Tawan or  Moonlight or line one of few I  have contact with but somewhat I did not feel tonight like I want to . Honestly. Am I turning lesbian? Or straight ?   Ot bored with all that debaucheries? Or saturated with fun I had so far ? May be I’m coming there too often ? Or January  Cambodian fiasco still subconsciously lingers somewhere in my head and heart and from time to  time emerges ? Or am I losing it?

Or perhaps getting bored and impatient with some of boys antics, chiefly nagging me ‘when I see you again ? ’ ‘can we have massage today ?’ No idea but those were questions going through my head when walking alone via completely darkened soi 5 , one where market is in day time and which comes across from Furama at other end. So it’s day 16 and night 16 but 5 of them in cold bed. Never before.  I used to have empty night once per 5 trips but is it true such world came to an end?

 Ok I made it sounding bit dramatic for better reading and perhaps even discussion but cold fact is : on my last night on the trip I’m sleeping alone and truth to be said I’m not really making much of it. It is what it is . And I slept well

Agree with you that Banana Bar barker boy is really handsome. 2nd on my list of handsome bar barker boys is at Hotmale. Equally as tall. Not as hunky but very nice smile!

Dont worry about it, everyone can get a bit burnt out at times, even if they are doing things they enjoy.

I sometimes get a sudden day of lassitude on holiday when I have no motivation to do anything, even if I am in a city that is full of attractions I normally would love to visit.

It passes....

I'm not worried, looking at half full glass - I saved at least 3000 on tips , perhaps more of dinner , drink and off fee was included. It was surprising me it happened as I had options but that night I felt none was enticing enough to abandon comfort of sleeping alone.

I recall two nights out of my trip watching movies in the hotel room getting junk food delivered by Grab ,

I just wanted to be by myself watching movies eating chocolate and ice cream,no idea why 🤣

Of course it soon passed and all the other nights I was out there looking for cock !

I have never understood how Abomb has survived all these years. I know it changed owners right after Covid, so perhaps there has been frequent changes of owners, each bearing several years of losses before giving up. This bar has had its ups and downs, but I have had great offs from there, so I always make a point of checking it out each time I am in Pattaya - which isnt often nowadays, unfortunately. 

As for negative reviews, there are negative reviews of every bar, and I suspect a lot of that comes from the type of boy a bar has. Those who like fem twinks will be completely disappointed by Abomb. Those who like the bigger guys will be writing negative reviews of bars with fem twinks. And thus, the world goes around.

I wanted to sleep alone, my surprise is that I did .

Day 17 , last

  To add insult to injury , not only I slept alone but it served me well  as I waked up just before 9am and went for my last breakfast at Unesco only at 10 am , again missing in early bird discount. I have whole day at my disposal leaving only late at night / early in the morning depending on your religion.

I did not waste time wanting to make up for wasted night and asked ST over Line to come to my room at 3 pm. I had impression that he jumped from joy as positive answer was immediate with tons of emoticons. Securing  my entertainment for later I could proceed to realize tourist program – survey of recently opened monorail between Samrong BTS and HuaMak ARL.

At 11 am on the dot I boarded train at Chong Nonsi and about 40 minutes later alighted at Bearing station to check Apollo massage site. I took exit 3 , went down by the stairs and as soon as I hit sidewalk I saw it, it’s about 6 meters from I was standing at bottom of stairs. Sign OPEN was lit but I did not had time to do more in depth survey so went back to travel to next station Samrong.

Finding monorail station was easy – it just there with short covered walkway connecting the  two.

Ride was free in trial period but it was conducted by way of dispensing free tickets. That way they could test how gates work as well.

Train runs every 10 mins so we did not wait too long for one to appear. I secured position at front allowing good view of the line and all 13 stations. Nice views of Bangkok skyline, from few angles Mahanakhon was looking as quite short building and only distinctive architecture allowed to identify it.

No tourist attraction on the way so it’s more of commuter value but now with extension to Lat Prao opened after I left Thailand already  we have easy access to massages in soi 101.

 It took 31 minutes exactly to arrive at Hua Mak station. From there it was quite a walk to identically named ARL station, no covered walkway but I made it. From there train to Phaya Thai, BTS to Chong Nonsi and at 1.40, 2 hours 40 minutes later I was back when I started.   ( to be continued )
