Bangkok - 3rd report - Jupiter

On Sunday I met David1710 for cafe and a long talk, which interestingly didn't focus on the pleasures BKK offers but rather on more...intellectual stuff.

Evening I spent 2 and a half hours with Raposa, him educating me about our surroundings, me - paying for drinks at G's Foodland and Hotmale. Thanks again Raposa for your generous tutoring!

After Raposa departed for his flight, I went to see the Jupiter show. Of course I join in (not only) his observation that this is undoubtedly the best bar production. All the dancers are either professional or seem to be, and performances' themes are highly creative.

The male dancers are all masculine hot and sexy, and their erotic sensual moves are a pleasure to behold.

One major - and for me totally surprising - drawback: there wasn't even a hint that the show is gay or meant for gays! All the sexual interactions were male-female; there wasn't even one instance of a man touching a man, let alone doing something more than touching. Even in the solo masturbation performance, the guy was wanking away while holding a women magazine. I don't remember having read any 'warning' about this, in posts about Jupiter.

The show started at 22:50 and ended 5 minutes past midnight, including three 5 minutes bits (beginning, middle, end) in which 14 boys paraded themselves on and off stage. Only during the final bit numbers were attached to them, and only to 7 (persumingly meaning that others are not for off).
Almost all of them had masculine bodies which I like, but not faces. Even were I not still restraining myself due to my medical condition, I wouldn't have offed anyone.

A bit ironically, the only guy who attracted me was the singer in street clothes, who warmed up the audience before (and after) the show. Before leaving I tipped him, and then realized there were no tips at all during the show, despite its quality.

Is that bar policy? Maybe it's part of their sleek reputation, waiters all in perfect suits, etc. Maybe it's also connected to the mamasan(?) 10 minutes into the show coming to tell me "no writing in phone during show".....

Yes, I have noticed this too and felt scorned by these bars taking my money. Wrote a long post about it (warning: it's intellectual) in 2022: https://shamelessmacktwo.travel.blog/2023/01/12/the-gogo-business-heteronormativity/

It's funny how Jupiter remains it's popularity among members depite reports like these.  They wouldn't  encourage  me to go there!

It probably retains its popularity because of the three points I mentioned: sex aside, it's a high class act; masculine sexy handsome men dancing erotically; some of them can be offed.

indeed, exactly that's the point.

Jupiter never was my favorite bar and reasons why I was not fan were recorded in my trips reports but as I mentioned in my ,most recent report from November , I never thought I will live long enough to have best boy of the whole trip coming from there. But it happened although with reason some may say , it was because it was his first day on the job there ( but not on  the scene  ) .

All that while does not contradict fact that both show and their guy's looks are first class.  They may not appear friendly during those walkabouts but as soon as they seat with you over drink it changes , at times drastically and for better.

Even if I still have some  beef with their guys - I was  eyeing one super hunk , tipped him twice during walkabouts hoping only for shy smile or at least look in my direction during next walk but to no avail , I still think bar is worth visit  for the show and to see what talk above is all about. And one may get lucky. There are people on this forum who consider this best bar and I know why they say that.

We need to understand , even if we may not like it, that all those bars are not gay bars , they are boy bars.

all I can say it's what I always say - go and check for yourself, no matter what we may say here

I don't go...I don't see what the draw is with people on this board 🤷‍♂️

If you don't go , how you  possibly can see ?

Use my advice to Keith above

I went to Jupiter last week together with a regular from another place. We both enjoyed the show. I identified at least two boys from Jey Spa among the line-up.

But since they know their clientele, why don't they inject something gay into the menu?

possibly answer is  already in your question ?

I don't know  but they seem to pull in good crowds and top quality looks.

For me it's exotic situation as I sound I'm coming to Jupiter defense. No,  it's not my favorite bar and I rarely offed from there although it must be said last 4 or 5 offs were   somewhere between very satisfactory and excellent.  Owing to qualities you listed in your post I still visit this bar on every trip at least once and usually on my first night in town. After that I tend to move to greener pastures

I didnt find the answer in my question.

Is having gay scenes problematic for them, to be avoided because clients will continue coming?

Are they sure they won't pick up new clients?

we here can only make guess, that question can be answered only by management I think

I don't go to Pussy Galore either ....🤷‍♂️

I went a couple of years ago with a friend from NYC, he said was the worst of any of the go-go bars we went to..... I'm somewhat of a masochist, but not with my wallet.

I've grown jaded with the go-go boys...I've been sticking to freelancers, massage and Alex's cousin at Hotmale downstairs

you don't go and don't comment on it  which is fair, so why the urge to comment on Jupiter where you don't go as well ?

Wow! I LOVE a wanking show!!

Is it for real? I mean, does the guy cum?

A number of bars used to have guys sitting on chairs, wanking. They'd stand up at the end and shoot cum all over the stage. Some of the guys produced very impressive loads.

I wasn't a fan of the wankers at the old Tawan bar, because they wore masks. I want to see their faces.

No, he didnt cum. It was more like a simulation, but very artful erotic convincing.

He started off with his right hand in his shorts, the left holding a magazine supposedly making him horny. He moved on the stage, his legs ass and hand attuned to the drum pace. At some point the shorts came off; condomed big dick.

There were two humorous intervals, when he stopped and leaned toward the spectators close to the stage - offering a shake with the wanking hand. All refused, 2 even sprang back in horror. Don't know why; I would've shaked it gladly, and added a tip.

The whole performance , like most of the rest of them, was very good.

The Jupiter show is by the best and most polished performance of all the bars.  The place has a lot of energy and has the added attraction of being good people watching. On Saturday night it was packed.  You feel they are making a show and want to entertain. The show does also have genuine tease/naughtiness.

Unlike moonlight where the feeling of lethargy now has a firm hold…..

There are a lot of ladies in the audience too but in their flirtatious interactions the dancers would engage with male and female audience members.   You do see more women in the front seats I guess having booked/bought bottles and that does give them a greater role in the interactions.

One number had a dancer lay back across a sofa and have sweets placed across his almost naked body - only underwear worn. Audience members were invited on stage to eat the sweets directly and it was a mix of men and women participating.

Its also good that the second drink price falls to 250.  Not exactly cheap. But far better than any equivalent.

(tip for best viewing, get as far up the wings toward the front of the stage as possible, esp on the door side.  You are a lot closer to the show than being behind the stage and get far more glimpses, esp in the towel routine!)
