It’s real. I believe it is now at the stage of “accepting” critical appraisal across the spectrum from governance bodies to ‘joe public’. I think it comes down to the costs of logistics and who will bear such financial burden. Good sense will perhaps equivalize these measures to the impact of SARS-CoV on tourism and die-hard MAGAs shooting the country in the foot. Otherwise, not terrible news for Canada and Mexico future tourism economy if neither is annexed as an additional state. 

Leave the US immigration requirements aside(who wanted to go there anyway particularly with the tangerine queen in charge) can we got back to Mpox concerns/vaccines.

I had the first Mpox vaccine yesterday at an NHS sexual health clinic in Manchester UK. Easy to get an appointment. I need to have the second one in a month. The clinic also said next time I can have the meningitis vaccine which gives some protection against gonorrhoea. As I go to bed with a lot of go go men I will have everything I'm offered.
