Popular Post kram987 Posted 18 hours ago Author Popular Post Posted 18 hours ago So after a full day of work Christmas I ran home, tooK a shower, grabbed my bag and off to the airport for a very long trip. I had planned on sleeping on the long flight but the guy next to me had other plans. I won’t go into it all but I think the record was around 15 minutes without an elbow to me side. Anyway after landing in Bangkok at the satellite terminal I speed through customs. then to the ATM which wouldn’t give me cash. Not going to lie this worried me, no cash for trip? Well I had some left from last year. Change of plans instead of taxi I saved my little cash by taking the Train, and MRT to Silom. Finding my way to the Raya I passed a different bank and decided to try and soon I had a nice stack of bills. At Raya an easy check in then a shower and it was time for the adventure to start… at 711. when I stepped out I realized the temperature was nice so I decided to start with a walk and somehow found myself at the front door to Arena. Picking a massage guy was easy. He was built nicely, handsome face and I soon learned he gave a less then mediocre massage. Not a big deal or surprise really. I’m sure you know that wasn’t why I was there. Any whew the alters were great. Rock hard chest, very nice arms and bigger then expected… other things. I tipped more than the minimum. Then to 711 and seeing a pizza place my stomach started reminding me to eat. Next I decided to visit Soi gay and decided to try Banana. I had never been there before and was surprised to enjoy the drag show and the guys were hot. bar was packed and I was seated next to a cute guy from Singapore. After a bit a number with fit guys showing there … assets came on and one guy looked off he had filled the condom with air making him look off. At the end of number the guy with the mask took it off. I’m mostly sure it was the one that got away last trip. He looked angry about something though. i kept looking for him but he didn’t come down stairs. One drag number was especially good and I tipped her and I never do that. Some time later a banana song came on and the guys came out showing us their bananas , sort of a lot had air in the condoms. Guy who got away didn’t look mad anymore but not happy either. I tried tipping him and he took the baht but no eye contact… I decided not to off him and to save my ears and left. I went to the night market in search for banana pancakes but no luck. Anyone with recommendations on where to find them. Any way a called it a night and back to hotel and crashed hard. I recommend Puy Roti Lady at https://share.google/5qE8OBbF97kl0xpEu She's quite famous and has done well for herself. She's currently building a new house back in her hometown. Her roti is unique in that it's flavoured with pandan which makes it fragrant and gives it a slightly green tinge. I like roti with egg and banana; the egg softens the roti on the inside and makes it crispy on the outside. hank75 and vinapu 1 1 Quote
khaolakguy Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago I have walked past this stall many times, without being aware that this is a celebrated roti venue! And I like Roti! In the evening there is usually a roti cart further down Saladaeng, which I have noticed. On the opposite corner of Saladaeng, in this photo behind the motorbike taxi drivers, is a fantastic old world family run chinese noodle soup restaurant. It hasn't changed at all(not the menu nor the decoration) in the 25 years that I have been going there. The grandfather has now retired("been sent to rest in the countryside") but the grandmother and her children/grandchildren carry on. The site must be worth a fortune, but when asked whether they have considered selling, the grandmother replies that they had offers but she is not interested as "what would I do with my time and all that money". Her life is based on seeing people enjoying eating their food. She is happy as is. I expect that when she retires the younger generations may feel that it is time to move on........ Best to avoid at lunchtimes as local office workers pour in to the limited space, and they close mid afternoon or when the day's noodles run out. mauRICE and vinapu 2 Quote

Would be grateful if you can provide a more precise address? Interested to check it out Quote
khaolakguy Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Unfortunately I can provide neither name nor address! There are some chinese letters above the two entrances which mean nothing to me and I have never known the address and it doesn't appear on either Google or Apple maps. However it couldn't be more on the corner of Saladaeng and Silom, one small entrance on each perhaps. As fortunately it has never been discovered by influencers, let's keep it that way! Although when an occasional farang has wandered in, when I have been there, they have always been happy to assist. Mum's the word and the information is provided exclusively to gay thailand fora. hank75 and vinapu 1 1 Quote

Amen to that! I recommended Puy above mainly because she has a strong social media presence and is easy to locate but I think there is a string of roti carts all along the very long Silom Road and all over Bangkok really and quite a few are operated by Rohingya refugees. 10tazione Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago There is also a roti stand next to corner Surawong road / Soi Than Tawan, only in the later evening mauRICE 1 Quote

Quite possible kram just overlooked it which is easy with all options crowding there. Roughly opposite where Madrid Tavern used to be - sign is still there I believe mauRICE and 10tazione 2 Quote

If they don't look interested it's better just to let it go as they may not be in the mood or simply not in the mood for us at the moment Quote
