First Time exploring Massage/Bar in Bangkok

Hello, I am actually travelling to Bangkok today (23 Feb) before I came across this forum. I was trying to Google good massage places with extra services but am not sure which would be good and recommended as I hope to have a good experience as this is my 1st time exploring this area of Bangkok. My previous visits have been just regular touristy activities. 
 

I have tried reading the threads here but I am not quite familiar with the some of the acronyms used like ST, LT, H spa etc so I might not be able to understand fully some of the posts. For context, I am more into side/sensual fun (I like kissing haha) with someone hot/cute lol and penetration isn’t a priority, which places are recommended in this case? What would be the expected amount to tip too?

ST (Short-Time 1-2hrs ) and LT (Long-time overnight or until breakfast) are terms used when offing someone from the bars or may also apply for Money boys from the apps.

For Massage shops - they are categorized as S(soft) , SS (super soft), H (Hard) depends on what the masseurs are known to be willing to do.

For Spas or Onsens - I have no idea hahaha because I don't go to them since I'm very body self conscious as I'm a bit of a chub.

Since you are more on side stuff I recommend searching the forums for Massage places like Prince, SSense, Senso, History of Massage, Jey Spa, etc. these places are mostly have masseurs hunks.

If you are looking for twinks then you can search the forum for Massage shops in Saphan Khwai..

stay in Silom area as it has all you need, both bars and massage venues in close proximity. Lots of cute guys on display in front of massage shops along Silom , Suriwong and soi 6 connecting those two. Tips for massage boys 1200-2000 depending on venue and a boy plus massage fee , if you offing from bar count 2000-3000 for short time  plus drink for you and possibly for  a boy.

As Vinapu says, Silom Soi 6 has a number of massage shops where the men are ready to deliver exactly what you describe. If you strike up a conversation outside in Soi 6 with a guy who particularly appeals to you, ensure that you tell him that you want him to be your masseur. I was approached once by a guy I found to be very desirable and he took me inside, where he handed me over to a masseur who kindled no magic in me at all. Sounds like you want S or SS type massage place though H places guys wont refuse a no penetration services. Kissing on the other hand, not always easy to tell who will do it, so if it is really important for you, mention it upfront to the mamasan at H place, and perhaps you will get one that is willing. S or SS place, the person in charge wont entertain question about extra services, so its up to the masseur, so itll be harder to negotiate before choosing

Digressing slightly but I remember you posted some personal pics in a trip report (with face covered) and you are a very nice looking guy. No reason at all to be body conscious. I hope you will get to return to Thailand soon.

Thank you, I only stumbled upon this forum recently so I didn’t know about staying near Silom area. My hotel was booked around Petchaburi in advance =(. Will take note to choose a better location hotel next time. Thanks for sharing, will provide the recommended tips you mentioned to the boys 😃

some may have different ideas  but I have habit of fixing  expected tip before hand, if boy doesn't quote anything , I ask them outright " how much you want"  . If they say ' up to you " , I tell them what I will give them. If they don't like  my offer I usually say " I asked you already and you told me , up to me". That settles matter .

Others may simply hand over money to boy at end of session , whatever they think is fair and that approach works too.

Silom is the most convenient place to be if you want to go to bars or clubs, especially if you intend to bring someone back with you to your hotel.

If it's massage parlours that you mainly have in mind, it isn't such a barrier to being further out of town..

Thanks @hank75, I usually stay away from Onsens because all the guys I see going in have nice bodies, I don't want to go there and stick out like a sore thumb.hahaha

Ohhh I already have my trip and stay booked 😁 👍 I will be arriving a week after Songkran to avoid the water flights.

Please note that Ssense is an SS place, whereas Jey Spa is an H place. Both of them are very good but adjust your expectations according to the type of shop!

Hello, just to update that I had also booked TCS spa as the masseur I chose at S’Sense wasn’t free initially so I booked in TCS and moved S’Sense later. For all the bookings, I googled the place online and added their LINE to do the booking. Please bear with me as this is my first time writing but I had tried to include the relevant information where applicable. I will start with Jey Spa 1st.

Jey Spa Part 1

When doing the booking on LINE, the admin would send over a collage of many boys for reference. You can pick one you like and they will provide info like if he is gay, T/B/V. For 1.5hrs vip room is 1250, tip for boy is 2500. After booking, they would also send directions to the place.

 

The place was within walking distance from Phrom Phong BTS, and a bit obscure to find without the directions provided. It was like a shophouse like compound rather than a retail shop. Once entering, staff asked if I had chosen my boy of which I showed the LINE message booking confirmation. They also served me ice water and a wet towel while waiting.

 

Soon after, the boy came (will call him A). A looked somewhat like his photos, and was quite lean. A led me to a room next to the reception counter lol. I showered while he went out to prepare. The massage was a dry massage and we chatted most of the time as his English was quite good, about his life, travels etc. So I had learnt that he doesn’t know many of his colleagues and what the admin shows us (I showed him the collage admin provided upon request). He also told me that this kind of massage of sort of illegal but the owner pays the police a feee so they don’t raid the place lol. I was also told that the owner has another spa called glam spa.
