Olddaddy is on something. Yes boys at every bar are expecting and looking for the tips  but on my last few visits indeed some Tawan boys were way too pushy and pressure started almost immediately after sitting down. One , veteran of quite few offs, when I said I have no money  resorted to trying to open one of my shirt pockets to prove me wrong. And that was upsetting indeed

Ahhh same guy probably done it to me lol, I wouldn't call him a "boy" as such , probably not much younger than me ,but yes he certainly was .... " assertive " in asking for tips 😁

I trust this was a typing slip and @Olddaddy meant Tawan. In dozens of visits to Taiwan I have never come across "very pushy guys" and there are so many guys around looking for westerners there is no need to pay for sex.

Surely you are right, likely it was spell checker which changed Daddy's typing as the same happened to me when typing post above in this page  but I caught it and corrected

I've experienced this in my last few trips. The approach of the Tawan boys now are more aggressive compared to the old Tawan.

That said, some of the guys who have been around since the old Tawan are still alright, they can take "no" for an answer. Among the rest, there are a few that are persistent.

For my experience, True for both getting aggressively persistent and also 💯 true that they do take no for an answer and won't bother you after.
