  1. Guy "Shoot Himself in the Foot" Fawkes seems to have gotten himself into a bit of a jam. An Asian-American poster (who the crazies over there insist is actually me posting in disguise -- were it only true that I am a sexy young Asia stud), was the victim of some amazingly vicious ethnic attacks. When he protested, Daddy & Co. did what they know best - they banned the victim for having complained. But, techno genius Daddy does not know about the power of screen shots. And now, several Asian-American civil rights and activist organizations have taken an interest in the goings-on over there. Better start contributing to Daddy'e legal defense fund.

Coming out used to be about freeing yourself. Now it’s about placating everyone else. I like this essay a lot. The article sticks me in so many ways, as a teacher who has not come out to his students but does not want to lie to them always walking in the edge, as I have very close relationships with many of my scholars. As a queer man who does not feel fully comfortable in the gay label, and has to be lecturing all the time about the particularities of my sexuality even to gay friends more fond of stereotypes. I could go on and on. In a different dimension, it also strikes me how privileged we are. We are having this post-gay conversations, in a world still poisoned …

  3. As you may know, I was long ago banned from that other site for daring to speak the truth. All for the better I would say as much of it has been overrun by a clique of crazy right (white) wing conspiracy believing loonies/ There was a colorful character there (personally known to me) LeonTrotsky/aka "SexyAsianStud" who finally told Ms.Fawkes himself to STFU and kiss his ass. All I can say is -- FINALLY!!

  5. Hi everyone.....I am new here. At least new posting and I have some basic questions. In every forum I have ever been in there are "special" posters who believe there life is to keep order in a particular area of discussion. I'm curious who you believe these posters are in these areas so I can just have a heads up. I ask this so I don't get too pissed when that "special" poster goes after me, lol. I can just brush it off or ignore them or even block them. First, who are the grammar police? Second, who are the condom police? Third, who are the "boy" police? I do not mean under 18.... I won't ask who the general a-holes are....I will deal when the ti…

From Khaosod English Where Caffeine Meets Meditation BANGKOK — Regulars at Bangkok’s famous ‘Gallery Drip Coffee’ might come for the caffeine jolt, but they stay for the relaxing process of watching baristas prepare drip coffee. Piyachat Trithaworn, founder and owner of Gallery Drip, says Thais are increasingly interested in savoring the complexity, acidity and aroma of Thai-grown drip coffee. Gallery Drip is about quality, not quantity. Sometimes the shop only manages to secure half a sack of single origin beans from its source in the north of Thailand, but Piyachat is still happy to serve it to his customers. “It begins with choosing coffee…

From Coconuts Bangkok ‘Bangcocking’ scourge nearly destroys boy’s testicles The juvenile homophone created in English by the international name for Thailand’s capital, long a source of snickering for Western children and the occasional adult, nearly claimed a tween’s budding manhood this past week. Surgeons labored desperately to save the testicles of a 12-year-old British boy maimed in what is actually described as a “sick ‘bangcock’ craze sweeping schools” by a newspaper covering the northern English community of Teeside. “This is a craze that has come back into trend that boys randomly punch their target in the balls to cause intense pain,” the boy’s…

From NY Times Malfunctions caused two deadly crashes. But an industry that puts unprepared pilots in the cockpit is just as guilty n Oct. 29, 2018, Lion Air Flight 610 taxied toward the runway at the main airport in Jakarta, Indonesia, carrying 189 people bound for Bangka Island, a short flight away. The airplane was the latest version of the Boeing 737, a gleaming new 737 Max that was delivered merely three months before. The captain was a 31-year-old Indian named Bhavye Suneja, who did his initial flight training at a small and now-defunct school in San Carlos, Calif., and opted for an entry-level job with Lion Air in 2011. Lion Air is an aggressive airline t…

A Pennsylvania priest has been caught embezzling church funds to, among other things, pay for services of men he met on Grindr. The NY post reports: The Rev. Joseph McLoone, 56, was arrested on felony theft and related charges Wednesday after investigators revealed that he opened a secret checking account in 2011 to deposit donations from parishioners at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Downingtown, the Chester County District Attorney’s Office announced. McLoone, of Downingtown, then funneled the donation checks into an unauthorized “St. Joseph Activity Account” at TD Bank for the next six years and stole $98,405 in all, according to Chester County district…

  19. When you're at the top of your show business game, making tons of money with the support of Disney/Marvel, why on earth would you align yourself with a possible child molester? How is that support going to endear you to others moving forward? In clear opposition to actors such as Timothée Chalamet, Greta Gerwig and Colin Firth, what possible gain is there to going public with such a controversial personal opinion? I am absolutely gobsmacked by today's news item. Goodie for Woody Allen. Maybe he has a true friend in Scarlett Johansson. So what! Will Scarlett convince others to step forward in support? I doubt it. Will this erase all doubt and speculation about Wo…

From Coconuts Bangkok Dual-pricing for foreigners now legal at Thai public hospitals Dual-pricing isn’t just for national parks, museums and amusement parks anymore. Thai public hospitals can now legally charge foreign nationals higher rates for services under new regulations published Friday. More than dual-pricing, the new regs set four tiers of rates that can be charged based on a patient’s visa status. Treatment costs are set at four levels: Thai nationals, foreigners from neighboring countries and working foreigners on non-immigrant visas. The fourth group consists of tourists and retirees. While foreigners from other ASEAN nations appear to p…

From Coconuts Bangkok Dildos, phallic amulets, vintage adult magazines and explicit life-sized sculptures of people having sex. These are among the 500+ pieces of erotic art and historical artifacts that are on display at two sex-centric museums located just blocks apart from each other in one of Bangkok’s trendiest neighborhoods, Thong Lor. Thailand doesn’t exactly have a culture of sexual openness, but it’s not prudish, either. The sale of sex toys is still illegal, for instance, but people tend to turn a blind eye to the rows of vibrators and anal beads sold openly on some Bangkok streets — which just goes to show that the country’s cultural norms and attitu…

From Bangkok Post Airports of Thailand Plc (AoT) has renewed a long-standing dispute with Central Pattana Plc (CPN) over its new luxury shopping complex by demanding a halt to construction just days before its scheduled launch on Aug 31. AoT president Nitinai Sirismatthakan said on Friday that the agency had ordered work at the Central Village site near Suvarnabhumi airport to stop as the project could pose problems for the airport. The airport operator claimed the 184-rai project could cause traffic congestion on roads to Suvarnabhumi, and lighting in the area could confuse pilots guiding planes to land at the airport. Central Village has been built o…
