For the super hero nerd, the original Batmobile from the tv series is up for auction soon: 6:45PM EST December 9. 2012 - When George Barris' original Batmobile goes on the block at Barrett-Jackson next month, auctioneers are already predicting it will fetch millions. They are billing it as a heaping slice of "Americana." It will be interesting to see if the 1966 Batmobile from the TV series still seems relevant, or even interesting, against the hot rides in the multiple Batman movie franchises since then, including Christopher Nolan's latest Dark Knight trilogy. Some fanboys may still love the original, but the first Batmobile risks becoming a comic-book footnote. The …

The NY Post is reporting that Justin Bieber, beloved young pop star, was the target of murderers: Two would-be killers wanted to castrate and strangle teen sensation Justin Bieber, in a sinister plot that was supposed to go down in New York, officials said today. Mark Staake, 41, and his nephew Tanner Ruane, 23, were arrested yesterday in Vermont. The plot’s mastermind was allegedly 45-year-old Dana Martin, who is doing life for raping and killing a 15-year-old Vermont girl in October, 2000. Martin met Staake behind bars in New Mexico -- and when Staake got out of prison, he recruited Ruane for the bloody scheme. Staake and Ruane were picked up in Vermont at a Canad…

This year's inductees into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame are Rush, Public Enemy, Heart, Donna Summer, Randy Newman, and Albert King. It's about time Donna Summer was inducted. I hate this argument that Rock & Roll is only a specific type of music.

"ARROW" gets my vote as the best new show of the season. It really holds my attention so far week after week.

When I see the video, I always think of Totally Oz when the sauna scene comes up. Anyone know why? It's because I know how much he likes those tattoo'd Asian guys!

I only post this because I LOVE HER. I've seen her in concert a few times and I just love her voice. Happy Birthday Dionne Warwick. I'm very angry with YouTube now. They have eliminated the "long URL" version for sharing. So I can't embed videos anymore. UGH

It appears to be, as I am having no problems, but here is there report: AVG PROTECTION PROVIDED ON THIS PC SINCE INSTALLATION Spyware found and removed 0 Files scanned 1512350653 Infected files found and healed 0 So, out of these quadzillions of files scanned, not one thing was found? MetaCert, a web-blocking firm, has recently indexed 645 million pages on the internet. In the process, it discovered how many links to porn sites? a. 450 million b. 827 million c. 1.4 billion d. 2.3 billion e. 3.1 billion No need to wait till the end of the week for the answer. It’s e. And despite the domain .xxx having been created 2 years ago, the vast majority of the porn sites are still using .com. If you think that number is a bit staggering, how many porn site links do you reckon there are likely to be in total when you realise that there are something like 3 billion web pages? Well, if that sample 645 pages has 3.1 billion links, one assumption…

Well, now the cat is really among the pigeons again! North Korean leader Kim Jong Il has died. When there are periods of uncertainty in the North, tensions inevitably mount around the region, as it tends to use its muscle to disguise any perceived weakness. Kim’s designated successor is his little known third son, Kim Jong-un, but the concern must be what the army generals, who seem to have accepted him up to now, really feel about him, and whether he has the strength of character to command the power apparatus at his disposal. If he is seen to be weak, expect the unexpected. Personally, I would not wish to be in South Korea at this time. There will be a lot of …

3 people, including supposedly the shooter, have died after a shooting this afternoon at Clackamas Town Center Mall. I was driving to that very mall to walk (given the rain here, it's a good place to get a bit of exercise out of the wet.) when the shooting happened. A little creepy to realize that if I hadn't been distracted and running late I might have been there when it happened. it also reminds me what mixed feelings I have about gun control. Their ability to mete out mass death means that crazies will keep being able to do this. But I do believe that an armed citizenry is part of what ensures our government doesn't become a dictatorship, though I think that may …

Those of you that have seen the movie (even if you won’t cop to it) will probably know what I’m talking about, but for those out of the loop let me break it down for you: The lovable werewolf Jacob (Taylor "does-he-own-a-shirt" Lautner) decides that it’s time for Bella’s dad (Billy Burke) to be let in on the secrets of the supernatural. Apparently this is more a show, don’t tell situation. Jacob then proceeds to remove his clothing in a confident and strangely erotic manner before morphing into a wolf, much to the surprise and confusion of poor Charlie. The whole thing plays out exactly like one of those really smutty fan fictions that make you terrified someone will acce…

What wonderful memories he left me. RIP JR

So My work ended me up at a university guest apartment and I really like it... Hot guys are everywhere and the fee I have to pay is half of what the cheapest hotel charges, on top of it, it is spacious and has everything a long term traveller need. It even includes kitchen items so you can cook.. It is so popular that it's hard to reserve a room here but from now on I think I will just look for college guest rooms from now on..

Nine Beers Americans No Longer Drink By Michael B. Sauter and Alexander E.M. Hess | 24/7 Wall St – Fri, Dec 7, 2012 3:17 PM EST After three years of declining sales, shipments of domestically sold beer are up by more than 1% in the United States this year. Sales of light beer and specialty beer, such as Budweiser Light Platinum, Shock Top, and Blue Moon, have been the driving force in the resurgence of U.S. breweries. While sales of specialty, craft, and small-market beers have improved dramatically, many of the traditional, full-calorie beers that were once the staples of most breweries have fallen behind. In the five years ending in 2011, sales of Budweiser, which wa…
