I like some of these cars from the 50s and 60s. Style back then really set brands a part from each other. These days so many cars have the same look.

  3. Especially Great Brittan which generally seems much more tolerant, in the impression I get from watching most of their TV anyway... London Mayoral Candidates Out-Gay Each Other; Brian Paddick Talks Bullying Brian Paddick used to be London's top gay cop. Then he was a mayoral candidate. Then he was a contestant on I'm a Celebrity: Get Me Out Of Here. Then he was an author. Now he's a mayoral candidate again -- as ever, with the Liberal Democrat party -- and at a forum on LGBT issues with his fellow major party candidates, he opened up about having been bullied for his sexual orientation when he was a student, and decried homophobia in the police force. From the BBC: …

Sadly, Bee Gee Robin Gibb has been confirmed to be in a coma in London. It's sad, but also strange, with Glee going disco this week. They had that oddly timed Whitney Houston song as well the week after she died. Does Ryan Murphy have a strange six sense? Robin Gibb has been suffering from colon and liver cancer for a number of years.

From the LA Times: Joe Manganiello, Alex Pettyfer, Matt Bomer, Matthew McConaughey and Channing Tatum. The Jeopardy answer: What is the Ministry's idea of Christmas morning? That list of easy-on-the-eyes actors is the nearly confirmed cast of "Magic Mike," a romp through the lives of male strippers based on Tatum's real-life experiences as a young exotic dancer. http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/gossip/2011/08/magic-mike-stripper-movie-joe-manganiello-matt-bomer.html

I was quite shocked that Jessica Sanchez was the one eliminated last night from American Idol. She is definitely the best technical singer. But I suspect since she is Filipino that she doesn't fit what Middle America wants as an Idol and she isn't getting the votes? What do you think? http://www.afterelton.com/tv/2012/04/american-idol-recap-top-7-results

I saw "A Cabin In The Woods" today. What a bizarre but original movie. If you like the horror genre then this is for you. But it is very different and original. I highly recommend it. And there is some cute eye candy with a couple of the guys in it. But it is not what you think that's for sure. . . http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ENUBUdFswM

Let's take a peek back to the past... Can you remember when.... 1) Snack pack pudding came in a can with a pull ring? 2) Your tv had a dial for changing channels and had two antennaes and a loop antennae? 3) Your freezer had to be defrosted regularly due to ice buildup? 4) The only national tv stations were ABC, CBS and NBC? 5) You had to have a bottle opener to open soda or beer bottles? 6) There was the AMC automaker? Feel free to add your own "can you remembers"

Sure no one can tell the future but come on. -------------- On April 12th, 1976, one of three co-founders of Apple Computer sold his 10% stake in the company for $2,300. Ronald Wayne says he made the “best decision with the information available to me at the time” when he chose to sell his shares in the emerging technology firm. Unlike counterparts Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak, Wayne had capital on the line and stood to lose his assets if Apple went under. Had he retained his full stake in Apple to this day, it would currently be worth nearly $60 billion. Wayne went on to enjoy a long career as an engineer with the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and other firms,…

Kudos to Boris Johnson, the Mayor of London. On April 1, London’s double-decker buses started carrying a slogan from Stonewall, the organization that promotes gay rights. It simply states – SOME PEOPLE ARE GAY. GET OVER IT! In response, a Christian group named Core Issues Trust had planned to run a counter series of ads – NOT GAY! POST-GAY, EX-GAY AND PROUD. GET OVER IT! Following a public outcry, London Transport chiefs have confirmed that this new series of ads will not be permitted. Mayor of London Boris Johnson said: "It is clearly offensive to suggest that being gay is an illness that someone recovers from and I am not prepared to have th…

I found this on Out. Pretty cool idea ... well at least it can be a time saver ---------------- Let's cut right to the chase. We all know what many people are doing while cruising the Internet. Which is why someone finally came up with Bateflix, an online site that finds all the Netflix films with nudity. According to Venture Beat, "users can choose the type of nudity, film genre, release date, MPAA rating, Instant or DVD availability, and general rating. The results will display a block of movie thumbnails that are arranged according to the level of nudity — from XXX to XX to X."
