One of the reasons I went to San Diego was to see this show at The Old Globe Theater in Balboa Park (where parking on a summer Saturday night is virtually impossible to find!) Seeing the words "Broadway Bound" at first seemed to be a promising thought, one speaking well of the show. A while later it seemed more of a reminder to the audience that this is really a good show despite what you are seeing- after all, it is Broadway bound! The opening was so cloyingly obnoxious, and the cast so anxious to get their gold star for cuteness, that I nearly reached for the air-sickness bag. (The worst scene in the show was an airplane scene.) There were several bad numbers, severa…

Why would a decent looking escort 27 years young have plastic surgery that competes with Joan Rivers? Butt & pec implants, botox, laser hair removal, lip fattening... What will they look like when they are (dare to say) 35??

On August 26, 1920 the 19th Amendment was passed giving Women the right to vote. On August 26, 1970, millions of women all over the country marched and demonstrated on its fiftieth anniversary and the Women's Movement came front and center in the social conscience of America. The days of the Second Class Citizen would be gone . . . mostly. Well, there is that issue of Equal Rights in the workplace some forty years later. Still, August 26, 1970 was a pivotal change for many people and it was the beginning of a new era. One of the biggest demonstrations took place in New York with marchers estimated at between 10-50,000. On hand to address the crowd were founding members o…

After observing the partys for a couple of days, a few thoughts strike me. 1. They have some really hot guys. 2. Some put on some really hot shows. Others seem to want to retain their virgin status or are semi reluctant at best. Are they saving it for marriage? 3. Many exclude unregistered peepers. (Me) 4. This is the Republican's party answer to the countries problems!! God help the USA if they take power in November!! Marco Rubio, GOP Senate candidate in Florida, gives the Republican response to Presidnet Obama's weekly addres: "t's time, once and for all, to abandon ideas like cap-and-trade and card check. Second, we need Washington DC to stop spending more money than it takes in. And that means ending the failed stimulus and using the leftover funds to pay down the debt. And finally, we must repeal ObamaCare and replace it with a plan that will lower health insurance costs for Americans without bankrupting the nation." From Politico

I never had a typing lesson. Did not take typing in school and basically learned just from using the Internet and computers so often. So I took a online test and typed 29.72 words per minute. I did not know exactly how the test would run so I think I might have done a little better if I had read the brief directions first. Anyway, check it out. Typing Test.
