I am going to Brazil in 2 weeks and I need some advice. I will be spending a month in Rio July/August but on weekends I will be taking side trips on Fridays and Saturdays to Sao Paulo, Porto Alegre, Curitiba and Florianópolis. This is my 5th trip to Rio so I am very familiar with that city. My favorite place to go in Rio is Club 117 (where I spend most of my nights) so hopefully you can tell the kind of men I find attractive (well built light skin guys with fit bodies) as I love the hot guys at 117. All, In thinking about my travel plan I am exploring 2 weeks after New Years to come back to Brazil. I have a couple of questions. 1) I know the saunas can be somewhat empty during the holidays. When do they start picking back up? 2) I will still spend some time in Rio and SP, but what about other cities with active sauna scenes? I have already been to Porto Alegre, Salvador, and Belo Horizonte. Any other ideas? Also if I didn't do Brazil, where would people suggest? Colombia, Argentina?

One important distinction is that is not exactly a train to the airport, but a vehicle of mass transportation between Sao Paulo and the city of Guarulhos, where the airport happens to be situatted. It envolves several transfers on the subway sistem (2 or3, depending where you are located) till you reach the train properly. Giving back after taking from this forum..... Since I was forewarned that Tuesday is a dud, I went there early Wednesday (had to fly out that evening). At 4:30 I was almost the only seeker. If anyone decides to visit Merida there is a Gay owned B&B that I highly recommend for several reasons! It is called Villa Verde and is a beautiful Boutique hotel that only has 5 suites but looks large enough to have 40 rooms.. Beautiful grounds, a small bar area overlooking the pool(with 2 hot bartenders/Waiters). I often go there for Happy hour, great cocktails, and Hor d'oeuvres! After a long thinking and after today's visit i decided to downgrade my rating for Sauna Lagoa in SP. From a solid 8.5 it goes down to a 6.5. The reason is a combination of things. First of all i begin to think that this sauna is kinda a private harem for just a few people. Let me explain that. Lagoa today maybe did have around 50 boys. I'm doing my first trip to Brazil, a week in Rio in early August. I've read the forums for years and just never got around to the trip. I've read people talk about using translation apps on their phones to talk to the boys. Any recommendations? In many places, I've had great deals on Airbnb, and Rio looks like no exception. But the frequent discussion of safety makes me wonder if I'm still better at a hotel. Thoughts? Does anybody have an recommendation for english speaking gay guides?
