There was a recent post about Bogota that mentioned meeting up with multiple guys from Chaturbate: I wanted to ask others if they had had luck with this type of arrangement. I tried years ago, and again recently (after seeing that post), but haven't really had luck making a real-world connection. Guys say they are not supposed to share their personal info with viewers, it could get them in trouble. It's difficult to filter by city, although many of the guys say they are in Colombia. Does anybody have recommendations for how to make this connection? Or any specific guys to hit up? One thing I've tried is to find guys who have an Instagram account or other method of c…

I was bored today and looking at real estate in Rio. Overall Rio is expensive, but cheap compared to NYC or San Fran. An average 2 bedroom in Ipanema goes for around 1-1.5 million reals (beachfront and luxury buildings go for much more). Has anyone here bought property in Brazil? The dollar is pretty strong now.. I came across one dream property - I'm sure it costs millions, but it is amazing! I can only imagine how much fun it would be to invite a bunch of garotos to come hang out with you in the pool there

Rio - 117 and Point 202 -Most guys will take 100 reals for a programa. I have been asked without exception for more if I want gozar. I’m curious if others get goza included with the 100. I have been asked for between 120 and 150 with goza. -Some guys want more than 100 if you want them to be pasivo (this applies more to muscle guys who aren’t usually pasivo). Usually in this case they ask for 150. -Lowest I’ve paid is 80, and that is with guys who I was on the border about hiring. I’ve also gotten massages for 50 reals, probably because the masseuse was desperate for buisness that day. -Higher end guys (best looking, muscular) sometimes ask fo…

Once I did already post a similar thread about Brazil. (Which you can find at the end of this post.) This is a question which always made me curious, and on my last trip to Colombia I met a sexy guy which also turned out to be an immigration officer. What I am about to write is valid even if you don't need the visa to visit Colombia as a tourist (90 days visa exempt stay). While overstaying in Brazil will result in most of the cases in a small and progressive fine (and a big horrible stamp on your passport which will ban you from the country for some months in some rare cases), doing that in Colombia could be worse, since it will really depend on how friend…

I love looking at vintage pics. They take you back to a place in time.. I’m curious, members of this board, when was the first year you visited Rio? Was anyone there during the 70’s or 80’s?

Just when we thought the truck drivers strike of more than one week ended (that brought chaos to Brazil's economy and everyday life) today (5-30-2018) another strike begins by Petrobas. When will Brazil return to normal? Check out this link - http://riotimesonline.com/brazil-news/rio-business/brazils-petrobras-delivers-further-blow-to-economy-with-72-hour-strike/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+TheRioTimes+(The+Rio+Times)

By suggestion of Mvan1 I'm starting a thread featuring the new train between Sao Paulo main airport (Guarulhos-GRU) and several stops in the city. Is already in operation but I have not used yet, so hopefully somebody currently in town will post a review soon. Mvan1 main concern, regarding the danger of carrying luggage in a public transportation might not be the case because how can someone escape carrying a sizable and probably heavy bag? A gang certainly could, but would it pay off? They certainly would aim a more profitable enterprise. I think is more risky showing off easy to snatch stuff like cellphones, cameras, jewelry etc. I have carried roll on luggage through s…

After eight days of highway blocking lunacy, the truckers strike is over in Brazil - or at least the truckers have agreed to stop blocking the highways across the nation and make deliveries they are supposed to make. It will take a few days for Brazil to recover from the numerous highway blockages and truck strike but at least there is optimism on the horizon - - if the truck drivers keep their word. Check out this article for latest details: http://riotimesonline.com/brazil-news/rio-politics/brazils-government-gives-in-to-truckers-demands-to-end-strike/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+TheRioTimes+(Th…

Truckers in Brazil are angry over fuel prices. Part of their anger is expressed by blocking highways in large cities, including Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. One way tourists might get around some of the blocked highways and/or streets is to use the metro whenever possible. Of course, this is after you get to a city from a blocked airport. Getting to an airport could be even a greater problem because there is no metro to airports. One bit of "advice" from the aricle says: " Individuals in Brazil are advised to confirm flights, avoid all protests as a precaution, stock up on essential goods, and allow for extra time to reach their destinations." The …

First of all, thank you for the great amount of info posted on this forum, I can say with no doubt that there is much more info in this forum concerning saunas in Brazil than in any other website/forums from Brazil. Since I am a local, I think this review about Lagoa might be interesting for you, maybe it will serve to dismiss some misconceptions (like the one that locals always are charged less lol), and to warn you about some risks. I am not a newbie in escorts scene, I am just 30 yo, but I have been with dozens of escorts in more than 5 countries (I know that for some guys in this forum, those numbers are peanuts :D), however it was just to mention …

Just a couple of days ago the US dollar was up almost 14% over the real. Today's paper reports that the real is rallying, and now the dollar is up only 10%. Checking hotel prices for my upcoming stay, I see that there have been noticeable drops in prices. Where is it heading? When to buy?

Arrived in Rio from Miami with Avianca. Until last year they used A330 from Bogota to Rio during the night with full flat bed. Perfect. Now they use the new A320 Neo. No longer beds... but OK flight except that the polit did not show up on time... Aerocoop taxi from Airport to Copa. Fare increase from 74 to 82 R$ in bandeira 1 since last December. Return from Copa To GIG is R$ 50. Saturday : 117. I like this place. Clean, Well run, good massagista and good selection of boys with many to my taste. The first night is normally for regulars but I did not see any... I was attracted at first sight to Fernando. Defined body, Nice face and smile and lovely green e…

Those who are frequent fliers realize that American Airlines is a major player in bringing passengers and freight to and from Brazil. Even though flights to and from Brazil are full, American has made the decision to cut back on the number of flights to and from Brazil beginning this year. Sometimes managers of companies make decisions that make no sense to anyone except to the person who made the decision. The reduction in flights will mean crowded flights and less flexibility for seating and scheduling. Those who belong to American's loyalty program will also suffer because of fewer upgrades available. It is almost as though American is enco…

So after a long haul (27 hours inc layovers), i finally made it to Rio. I arrived just after 1.30am and used airport taxi service per Pauleiro's suggestion, which is the second stall right outside the exit. The next day i went walkabout in nearby shops. By mid-day i went to the beach and had caipirinha (R19) and some sort of fishball (R19). Love the drink but i thought the fishball is meh. Afterwards i went back to my hotel to sleep for my first sauna adventure. Due to excitement i didnt really sleep well, probably just half hour shut eye. I got up at 4pm, showered and walked to Point 202 which 14 mins walk from Americas Copa Hotel. By the way, earlier when i walked arou…

I would like to warn all users about security in rio. Take all precautions recommended previously on the website. Rio is becoming very dangerous city. This does not mean you risk being attacked at every street corner but take extra care.

As many people know, Calvin Klein owns a house near Rio de Janeiro (or he did own one not long ago). About ten years ago, it was fairly common to see him at 117 and sometimes he went to Sao Paulo and he could be seen at Lagoa. I have not seen him for at least five years in the saunas. I remember reading that he met a handsome garoto in Rio and made the garoto one of his favorites. The garoto became one of Klein's models. This was probably five or more years ago. Has anyone seen Klein in the saunas? Just curious.

I like young white bodybuilders (or even just very fit young white guys) and there aren't any at any of the saunas, including 117. This is very frustrating for me. There always used to be at least a couple of regulars who were white, like 10 yrs ago, but that's no longer the case. Anyone know why? I understand the socioeconomic situation in Brazil may have something to do with the very low % of white guys who end up working in the saunas, but there used to be at least a couple or so, now there are none. You see plenty of hot white locals in Ipanema and Leblon but they're not for pay.
