Just what is so great about "The Golden Girls" which makes it so special for so many gays?

Ru Pauls Drag Race season 10 is down to the wire. Top 4 finalists... And muscle queen Kameron Michaels takes a spot... Chances are he WONT win, but it was nice looking at ya kid ! "Snap out of it !"

I loved the Season 6 of House of Cards. I thought Robin Wright did a fabulous job. I did miss Kevin Spacey and wish his character had not been written off but this season was great even without his great writing. https://www.salon.com/2018/11/03/michael-kelly-on-how-robin-wright-made-house-of-cards-go-on-you-want-to-be-on-the-robin-train/

Tonight (30 September) "The Flintsones" begins to air on "MeTV". Fred and Barney had to be lovers!

There is a new season of Designated Survivor on Netflix and it is pretty good. They have some gay characters and deal with transgendered issues. There was one hot gay fuck scene that I liked a lot. This show was not renewed on the networks so Netflix took it over. It was a good binge this week.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/No_Good_Nick The gay son is played by Kalama Epstein who played Jude's second boyfriend Noah on "The Fosters".

I have stopped watching both Designated Survivor and Touch in which Sutherland stars. I simply cannot stand his vocal quality. He speaks in a nearly inaudible, guttural whisper and it is find it difficult to understand him and irritating. In Designated Survivor his voice makes him sound like a wimp and not how a president should sound. Anyone else notice the issue with his voice.

Oh please! I am not asking you to lie with me! I am reporting on a novel which I just finished, and yes, it's titled Lie With me, A Novel by Philippe Besson. The translation, surprisingly, (to me) is by Molly Ringwald. It's a French coming of age story that is touching and tragic, but above all, well-written. Not everyone reads fiction, but this one is short and semi-sweet. Well worth it. With Tom Hanks. Can't wait to see it.

Looks interesting but the buzz is that this will be the next Game of Thrones. We'll see.

This song is from 1966. It talks about marriage, living together, "sleeping together". And it's gender neutral!

I just finished watching this coming-of-age movie. https://variety.com/2016/film/reviews/departure-review-2-1201680490/

http://www.cnn.com/style/article/oxford-university-obscene-books-scli-intl/ "The Picture Of Dorian Gray" is considered obscene!

Positively reviewed 'coming of age' story just released on iTunes

I am so excited to see this! I read the book when a teen and I know I had hope. From Alabama, it was hard for me to get this book but once I found it, it truly spoke to me.

Everyone knows that Jim Nabors was gay but so too was the actor that played Corporal Boyle on the show. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roy_Stuart_(actor)

https://www.pinterest.com/pin/334392341076435791/ He played "Le Chevalier" the lover of the King's brother. I think that he is beautiful!

So there is a new book out, released simultaneously in several countries. In France, the title is "Sodoma". Here it is "In The Closet of the Vatican." The author says he has spent 4 years researching the book. The finding is that the majority of priests in the Vatican are homosexuals, although not all are practicing. He has already gotten the first dagger in. The crooked Archbishop Marcinkus, who forbade the use of condoms to prevent AIDS, was himself, a homosexual. The book is 560 pages long, so let's hope it maintains its objective facade and keeps up the stories!

I just started bing watching this on Netflix. It was amazing. I am in the 3rd season and have been laughing so loud I disturb the BF. It is hilarious and Drew Barrymore is funny!

Any of you ever watch the TV series DEADWOOD? I think that it is the best Western that I have seen in a long time. Check it out and you may enjoy it.

I just saw the first episode of Warrior and really liked it. It reminded me of Banshee that was by the same producer and director. I loved the fight scenes and the interesting building of characters. https://www.nytimes.com/2019/04/03/arts/television/warrior-review.html

The snow storm gave me time to do some TV watching. I loved this show.

https://www.theguardian.com/books/2018/dec/30/ikes-mystery-man-review-robert-bobby-cutler-peter-shinkle President Dwight D. Eisenhower employed a gay man as his personal secretary during some of the most troubling battles against gays in the 50's. A witch hunt like Trump has never seen aimed to ferret gays out of the government, but right next to the president was a gay man, troubled, closeted, and not always fair to other gays. Ike’s Mystery Man is the perfect title for Peter Shinkle’s fine biography, from which the big headline is about Cutler’s shepherding of a disastrous 1953 executive order under which the lives of thousands of federal employees were destro…
