    From Bangkok Post
    Anti-govt protests continue in provinces
Anti-government demonstrations by students and other young people were held in several provinces outside Bangkok on Saturday. Protesters called for a House dissolution, an end to intimidation of the people and the rewriting of the constitution.
In Kanchanaburi, at about 5.40pm a group of about 50 young people comprising secondary school and university students in this western border province gathered at an open ground on Lak Muang road in Muang district.
The protesters held aloft placards and banners with messages attacking the government and military dictatorship. They called for the House of Representatives to be dissolved to make way for a new election, for the government to stop all forms of intimidation of the people and for the constitution to be rewritten.
The demonstration was peaceful. About 50 police and military personnel were deployed to ensure law and order.
At 6pm, the demonstrators sang the national anthem and flashed the trademark three-finger sign with their hands. They yelled, "Down with dictatorship. Long live democracy" three times before dispersing.
In Samut Prakan, near Bangkok, at about 5pm a group of students and people gathered at the open ground in front of the city tower in Muang district.
Student leaders took turns on a stage to call for a House dissolution and for Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha to resign.
At 7pm the protesters switched on the lights of their mobile phones and flashed the symbolic three-finger sign before ending the demonstration.
In Phetchabun, at about 6pm about 10 youths staged a brief gathering in front of the clock tower in Lom Sak district of this central northern province to voice the same demands.

I've stayed in Agate, Zing in complex and Venue and all are fine. Venue is simplest and cheapest. I lean towards Zing. I would ask for a monthly price.

....that I just needed something to make me smile. This video about a Filipino and his dog did it for me. At least they have each other.
It also made me more aware that when I say I miss Thailand, what I'm really missing are moments of intimacy.
And the older I get, that matters more than all the other reasons for wanting to return.

In 2019 the weekly death toll in Thailand from road accidents was 230 people. (Academics caution that this figure only relates to those who die at the scene, and the actual death toll is far higher when when all all data is collated, and when victims succumb to their injuries after leaving the accident scene.) According to the John Hopkins site the deaths so far from Covid 19 in Thailand stand at 48, as of 22nd April. As in all countries I expect the real C19 death numbers are higher. But the Thai government has not shut down the economy, introduced a curfew and made alcohol sales illegal to stop road deaths. Is this logical?

I paid two lads 4,000 bt a day each when I took them from Bangkok to Pattaya for 4 days. One of them later suggested that 3,000 a day each would be ok for another trip. Deals can be done. I would make them an offer.

Yes, #21 is the short muscular one. He's a good lad. My source in the bar tells me that Yoyo is #18. I have never taken him off but sometimes give him a tip. I don't recall #16. I have also had fun with Viet men #42 and #19 and like them both.  Other men I would recommend at Screwboys, though not Viet, are  #25 and #35.

To me Dreamboys has no twinks and charged 450 bt for a beer. So I go to Freshboys, Screwboys and Lucky Boys to look for hot twinks. Each to his own type.
  16. Thanks

One off a day would make him well off. I have known lads not having an off for 2 weeks ish. Four offs a week would be seen as very livable but hard to achieve for many. The men I know are similar to this: rent, maybe 3 men to a room at 5,600 a month total. Food, maybe 3200 a month. Taxis might be 3000 a month, as cheap rooms may be far from work. The non Thai lads need 2000 to do the visa run. Help for the family at home when they can. Police fines can be a problem eg. for overstay. Health costs for non Thai men. Smoking, tattoos and casino for some may be the 'wasteful' expenses but I can hardly talk with the money I spend on men.

I pay 2000 short time to men from Screwboys and Freshboys, maybe 2500 if we've gone to eat, then gone to hotel for sex; maybe 3000 if several hours go by or it becomes long time. Men who really need an off have quoted less occasionally over the years. The more challenging situations are if they say they have to go early to help a friend or to a friend's birthday. I had one where we went for one short drink in a nearby bar; he said he had to go to birthday. I gave him 1000, which was probably generous in hindsight. The off fee to the bar of 500 starts to make it expensive just for a brief chat. On the apps 1000 doesn't seem to get much take up with up to 3000 quoted. The problem on the apps can be the use of old photos. The lads seem to accept any reasonable amount in the areas talked about here. But Thailand is not a country to argue about money in other services, like the visitor who argued about a 51 bt taxi fare and got macheted to death by the driver.

Screwboys has been short of customers recently but started to perk up. Numbers 42, 19 and 25 are some of my favourites and all those are good at taking taking care. Some men in some bars could with a training course in service provision. Like don't use the phone in bed and don't make up excuses to leave early. Maybe I'm not handsome enough for them?
