Day 4
For breakfast we opted for new Foodland at Park Silom this morning . At 8 am was so packed that we managed to get only last remaining table  in the corner so conductive to not so accidental knee touching and similar sinister moves.  Going there we passed stand with discounted clothing and some accessories and upon seeing S took an interest in some travel bag I bought it for him as a bonus for his contribution to my almost sleepless night.
I’m surprised that is more hot than last January but still at least some breeze in the morning pretending to be cool with some degree of success. 
After we parted ways  I started tourist program today which was  Lumpini and Sukhumit are where I walked from Silom, For some reason despite heat I felt like having walking day perhaps to vent off heat generated last night ?.
At night I decided to make some bar tour and started with Hot Male beer bar. P of course was asking what happened to me another night, he thought I was playing practical joke with him but I bluntly explained to him that I did not like fact that he asked for a drink  only to leave me to drink alone, fact that was noticed and commented even by some other patron. Anyways red note brought peace but idea of going with me tonight was dismissed.
I’m easy going but not that easy going and like to be treated a bit better than on my first night there.
Then to soi 4 to have beer at Banana while watching Jupiter boys coming to work and finally to Tawan. As always I was greeted enthusiastically and walking ATM curiosities should be I guess . I was surprised to see Mekhin there. At one time he was unquestionable star at Tawan and his fame lasted quite a few years. Then he moved to Jupiter and when I offed him in 2018 he told me it was very good move for him.
Few years ago he had serious accident  and disappeared from the scene so I was both surprised but also very happy to see him. He still has his sizable frame but unfortunately muscles are only shadow of steel reinforced  concrete they were when I saw him last time. He sat beside me pretending he remembers me from days past and told me he is still in recovery and indeed some fragility in him could be noticed.
As always at Tawan boys were circulating asking for tips shamelessly lowering their briefs  but today I decided to be not as much stingy as selective so few were left disappointed and one even commented that I used to have good heart and what happened to me to which I cheerfully responded that you guys become too expensive.   
Still as always I’m of opinion that Tawan is friendliest bar of them all  and I quietly thought if Jupiter was so friendly I were bankrupt long time ago. Sure boys are pushing for tips a but it all is done with good natured humor. I watched show,  tipped  f….ck show participants , even forked out 100 for j/o show but since my tip was only one  guy on the scene resigned but my red note was still taken, he, he.
Tawan is more diversified now with few twinks in the rooster and one of them being only waiter drew my attention with his smile so I decided to cross Rubicon and asked him if he wants to see my stamp collection. Me and twinky twink – shock waves were probably felt as far as Koh Samui but yes, after the show   to applause of whole bar we both marched out. It was actually pleasant moment to see that his co-workers seemed to be vary happy for the boy that he landed such handsome and generous farang i.e. myself.
Dinner at Happy Beer Garden, again he selected some  very modestly priced  dish and back to the room. 2nd Tawan boy this trip and 2nd quasi boyfriend performance This trip is really developing very well  and while there will be some mild glitches , that pattern will stay till very end.  Again,  as with D on the 1st night , I suspect he was happy  he got offed and did his best to show his appreciation. I did my part to make sure  he was rewarded for his efforts and it was money very well spent.

Day 3
Raya has breakfast again at 250 per person if not included in the rate. Buffet style and all dishes very tasty. Pleased to see that guy I remember from my first stay there good 10 years ago is still working there although I have an impression he looks like 10 years older but what do I know? 
Today I’m moving to Baan Silom so after breakfast when Y left I packed what I have and rolled me suitcase there. Since it was bit early I was told to return at 2, left suitcase on reception and via Tourist boat went to Grand Palace are to browse stores there. It was good move as I required some old Thai banknote for my collection , one I was looking for  for quite a while.
This of course created an opportunity to invite somebody to admire and assess new acquisition. Upon return to hotel I was bit jet lagged- day 3 is usually my worst and collapsed on the bed for about 2 hours.
Woke up quite hungry as I did not eat anything substantial since breakfast and decided to go to Unseco designated world famous Foodland Patpong for a dish picture of which is attached below.

No prize for guessing it’s name though.
Then wandered for about 1 hour through the area and decided to go to HotMale upstairs to see if S would be there as I kind of believe he will be best suited to see my new old Thai banknote. He was mentioned in my reports before as only boy taken for  a tour ( of Grand Palace  back in 2022 ) who genuinely was interested in sightseeing , even trying to explain us some paintings in the area around Emarald Buddha temple.   
 
At 21.15 bar was still very quiet. Few farangs were holding court and soon after they took 4 or 5 boys with them. S was  there so I grabbed him right away even if there was no competition in the audience. Remembered from last trip when two girls were looking at him lustily when he was sitting with me already. Of course he accepted idea of seeing my new purchase not only right away but also in the morning where light will be more natural.
By time we finished our drinks and took off two farangs showed up  ( separately), gulped their drinks and left empty handed. Nobody was in the  audience when we  were leaving at 10 pm so it looked as quiet night and still quite a few offs from the bar.
Via 7/11 across the hotel we went to my room and of course in  a heat of the moment we forgot about my new trophy. No harm done.
It turned out that next week he is going to see his folks in Cambodia and by sheer coincidence I will be in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap at the same time as well. He asked to join me for the whole week but since I had some designs on Phnom Penh I suggested he will join me for 4  nights I will be in Siem Reap.   We left discussed particulars of that trip for Line and spent rest of  time together how it was supposed to be spend. Third night in row and third fabulous. I started to count my blessings already !

Day 2
First full day and kind of quiet. After energetic night and jet lag still lingering  I took it easy. D and me had breakfast at Foodland of all places and parted ways. As it happened I did not see him anymore this trip even if visited Tawan quite a few times, Perhaps he went home or it was just bad luck.
I had some dental work to do at Thai Smile. Passing by I stepped in just to book an appointment but doctor was  expected to be free in few minutes and since I had money on me I just wait and had it done . Then feeling bit sleepy decided to energize myself with massage so went  to soi 6 and Nut from Maha spotted me approaching from mile away and grabbed me  right away. Sweet , talkative , tiny but  very muscular guy and I was happy with our 1.5 hr session. Massage made me hungry so I took motorsai to Charoen Krung soi 49, you guessed rightly to Madrid Tavern for my first pizza this trip.
 Late afternoon jet lag made me wanting badly to get some sleep so I returned to the room, set my alarm for 21.00 as I was supposed to pick up Y at Moonlight as agreed yesterday and collapsed on the bed.
It was good idea with that alarm since I was sleeping soundly. After making myself looking decent – in Thailand I have habit to shave just before I hit bars in the evening and went to Moonlight. Y was there already , I bought him a drink and told him we will go after the show.
 At 10 pm bar was almost empty bar even if it was half an hour before show. But models and floor boys soldered on regardless. By 11 filled up nicely to about half capacity.
Show quite decent. There, s new model, I guess his nick is  Sam or similar. Quite handsome . Several new, floor boys, as well. Lack of crowds did not mean disaster as some high spending farang was holding court and was distributing tips by a handful.
Y when sitting with me  asked by said farang to join for round of drinks. Y asked my permission and he said  for 15 minutes only. I agreed and it was a good move costing me nothing. After 15 minutes, and gulping 2 or 3 shoots he was clutching in his fist no less than 900. 
So it seems that sparse crowd doesn’t mean financial disaster. All depends. On another hand during my time there i.e. 10 to 11.45 my off was only one and I was, sitting in good position to see comings and goings through the door. So at 11.45 we went to Happy Beer Garden to have some meal, no prize for guessing what I had. Y ordered something simple as well which can’t be said about most boys I used to invite there.
Since Raya is across the street few minutes after paying the bill we were already in the shower. Y never disappoints and did not even try to this time either. 2nd night and 2nd great one. Will I ever get decent sleep while in Thailand?

Day 1
 That will be short one as I said arrived at 17.40. Immigration line was hair rising but speed was world beating. It was second longest I saw in BKK ever and still with all boths opened and personnel wisely directing internationals even to “ASEAN or Thai only” booths when they were free it moved shockingly fast.
 By time I bought SIM card my luggage was out already and in exactly 75 minutes from plane touching tarmac I was already waiting for train at the platform.
 Raya, where I opened door exactly 47 hours and 45 minutes after closing my home door,  was informed that I will miss previous night but at least room was waiting for me ( no refund for no show) so I unpacked , desoiled and went to 7/11 to buy some necessities in process took circular way through Thaniya and Patpong 2.
 At 21.00 I was supposed to meet J, our member  at G’Bangkok , soi 4. As it happened his last day was mine first. So we caught on news and food and  being already in soi 4 we decided to go to Jupiter . On recent trips  somehow it’s always first bar I’m visiting. Due to esthetics as their boy collection  beats them all not a bad place to start.
 I’m not being big fan of Jupiter due to their policy requiring boys to appear cold , aloof and uninterested. This of course changes right away after one invites boy to seat beside but still  I don’t like it as can’t gauge if g boy is treating me as transparent because I deserve or because boss told them so.
 Of course looking at them during their walkouts is pure pleasure , smile or not. And soon after we sat down first round started. I tipped red note two of them including hero of my many stories and veteran of dozen if not more  offs over the years HC (Handsome Cambodian).
 I did not count on anything other than may be nod and shy smile during next round acknowledging tip and my presence. But disappointingly during next walkabout I was still transparent air. There were few  smiles but not at me and not by me tippees .  That was bit discouraging and disappointing so  when J, who in meantime had some hunk  sitting beside  signaled he is ready to go I gladly went with them. This was my only visit at Jupiter this trip or as my father would say “ this trip I was there two times - first and last”.
 Outside I wished guys fun , to J also safe trip home and we parted ways. I went to Moonlight hoping Y will be available but he was already booked to tonight so I secured his presence for tomorrow by slipping him and mamasan who leeched on me immediately remembering me very well from previous visits red note each and went to Hot Male beer bar where P was present so I offered him  a drink and in process asked about option of accompany me tonight.
 He agreed but I sensed answer is kind of  suspended. On top of it , even it treated with drink , instead of keeping me company  he was constantly on the move here and there.  At some point when I noticed he is going to bar upstairs with some female patron I did one of best things this trip, right on the first evening – paid for both drinks and just took off.
 As it was past midnight I decided to try my favorite corner in Bangkok at soi 6 and Suriwong. That the place where Tawan boys use to drink after bar closes. Tonight it was only D solitary drinking from small Hong Thong bottle. We meet many times in the past, now he is in bit less of shape but his skin is still as smooth as baby’s and  being late I made another best decision, drunk or not I asked if he wants to go with me.
 Happy smile and nod. He wanted to ride his motorsai but I declined and we walked to Raya. Holly Molly, he was always quiet and bit reserved companion , very suitable for 1st night after long trip but not tonight.  I was hoping for pussy cat but instead  got lion, very sweet lion indeed. As close to boyfriend experience as one can dream about. It was almost shocking in a best sense.  I guess blend of being bit drunk and  probably not being offed   for some time contributed to that energy. What an introduction to Bangkok and a trip  and end of day 1 !!!

Day 12
After breakfast we parted ways. I had tourist program in mind- to complete survey of monorail from Hua Mak to Lad Prao. That section was not yet operational when I rode it in Jun. So off I went to Hua Mak. From There to LadPrao 101 station as I knew there was boy massage place in the soi. Still is , sign " KB BOY" is visible from far. It was opened but I did not venture in  , retuned to station to continue my journey.
 When I returned to hotel they just started cleaning room  it so I decide to go to Foodland to eat something  and then  had a stroll through the area and generally had lazy afternoon enlivened by message from Kao from day 7 that he has day off tomorrow and will be happy to meet from 3 pm on. Confirmed right away.  
 After dark I went to Tawan hoping for massage with original twink Mas. He was there and suggested we utilize for our session new shiny room at Coffee Grinder two door away. Great idea at 600 baht, plus 500 off fee for removal him from the bar so it worked 200 baht more than charge when we had massages upstairs  in the bar but I liked it, all three , room , boy and massage in any order.
Then  to the bar, MK was already there but my heart started bleeding right away. #4 I was hoping to off tonight was sitting with some Asian customer and they seemed to have good time. S was trying to repeat last night feast but I think I become dispirited by missing chance on number 4 and resolved that if he will be taken by that customer I will try to console myself in Moonlight , not Tawan.
Mid show it was exactly what happened, both all smiles marched out, I tipped S, paid for my drinks and went to Moonlight to find bar busy and full. Mamasan who knows I like A  stabbed me in the back with news that he was already taken few minutes ago. Than another one, who knows I like also Y came and pointed that Y is sitting with customer who seem to be ready to take him. Which exactly what happened by time they brought me my drink.  So all I can have was handshake with Y leaving with that successful competitor. What a night , grrrrr!
 Seeing my long face mamas an pointed out at few new guys and particularly one  looked very attractive with manly , rough looking  face , in short exactly what I like so I called him over for drink. Myanmarese, he become clingy on the spot, looked enthusiastic so we agreed on long time and compensation and after paying off fee went to Happy Beer garden for a supper, by the way my last supper this trip.  
 From there to the room where things happened quite fast, no harm done thought I , now it will be more time for quiet romantic fake boyfriend experience as I liked him a lot. But it wasn’t meant to be as soon after he looked at his phone and said his roommate lost a key so must go to open door for him and of course he will be back but can I give him half of his tip now because he needs to buy something. Even time frame was quoted like 20 minutes or so. 
 Old trick , too old for me but what could I do? So far he worked hard for his compensation so handed over money, accepted without hope promise he will be back soon. Next hour I spent on the phone and tablet and then went to bed . Of course he did not return. Oh well.
My grandmother used to say there’s no bad thing which is not creating something good. At least I had very good night sleep, considering my next night will be spend on the plan it was quite a bonus. It’s why I’m not upset, just bit disappointed but still happy with experience, hot but short, lol.
What was bit unnerving though was Line message next morning of "how are you doing ?" like nothing happened. No repeat as Christian PFC uses to say.
 

Day 10
 After Y left I slept well despite of cold bed. Last breakfast today at the hotel as I’m finally moving to Baan Silom. Nice lady who prepared my fried eggs every morning was nicely surprised with tip I left her.
In the room I packed then took tuk-tuk which took me to new digs for 100 baht. I left luggage there as they instructed me room will be ready in 1-2 hours ( it was still morning ) and went for a stroll. On corner of soi Tawan repaired my daypack for 70 baht then got a message from MA he is drinking cofeee at Silom 64 so marched there to join him for tea and latest news.
Then I took MRT  to Hualampong  just to check how it is now after most trains moved to Bang Sue or whatever elaborate name of new station is. Central platform  is kind of railway museum with exhibit of old stem engines but there are still some trains departing from there.
 There’s free shuttle bus connecting both stations but doesn’t seem to be too frequent, perhaps one per hour as for time I was surveying station , more than ½ hr it did not departed.
When I arrived in hotel room was already free so time for some laundry. Since I like to travel light I have habit that first thing to do in the room is do some washing.
In the afternoon we had thunderstorm, about time as it was so far quite dry for rainy season. At 7.30 dinner at G’Bangkok with MA , from there we went to Hot Male beer bar to have some drinks with boys there. I used that occasion to molest new boy One a bit more and of course force some tip on him for his troubles.
It was past 10 pm when I got Line message from SK that he just landed and is going straight to my hotel. He was escorting his ailing brother to Cambodia as doctors advised them his treatment will be cheaper there.  So waved good bye to gentlemen in the bar and went to hotel, not long after SK arrived. He was both sleepy and hungry and suggested that instead of restaurant he will go and buy something to eat for him at 7/11 across the street so I gave him 200 baht to do some shopping. Yes , upon return he gave me a change with receipt.
Food energized him quite a bit   so we had some exercises instead of talking politics in Mauritius.

Day 8
When Kao left  I felt so happy and energized that decided I can’t leave things as they are.
Send Line to Y if he is available, answer come right away and with picture – sick in bed.
So I tried SK, only could leave message so I fell asleep, SK actually called me but I was sleeping soo deeply I did not even hear that. So I guess I was meant to sleep alone that very night.
Came for breakfast quite late and it was so full I had problem of finding space.
I apologized to SK for missing his message and offered him Mahankhon trip instead. He said he will be there in 1 hr. Then I got into touristy mood and asked him if he wants to go with me to see new tunnel leading to Grand Palace. Off we went, impressive place, most important there are toilets there.
Then I hired boat for 1.5 hr canals trip, SK gladly joined me . He is not shy type, even called his mom and show her naïve farang treating him to those forays. Quite clingy on the boat too. We returned to Silom civilization by the tourist boat.
 At 4.30 I went to Cofee Grinder to meet MA for latest news exchange, next step was dinner at G’Bangkok and it was dark already when I returned to my room.
 Asked Y if he feels better now, shrewd guy answered that he does and if I want he can come to my room tonight pointing that it’s his day off so I can save money on off fee. Deal.
 
 Day 9
 It seems I can’t have enough Y , after breakfast I asked him to return to the room  for some more intimacies. Can’t blame myself , I like him , both personality and build. I think he appreciates too fact that I engage him so often this trip. Of course I tipped him extra for that overtime.
Today MA moved to my hotel so we celebrated that fact by having coffee and bagel in restaurant in the lobby. And decided to go to Jey Spa to try our luck there. There were only 2 guys on duty, both suitable but mamasan said he will call one more  in a second and that was good move as new arrival happened to catch MA’s eye. I opted for guy nicked/named Guy, 100% gay by his won admission.
Handsome and knows his job but min tip 2500 . Not saying was not worth it but rather on high side.
Then I suggested pizza dinner at Madrid so MA and me went there . Madrid Tavern never disappoints.    
 In the evening I went to Patpong 2 hoping SA will be there but they told me he went to Cambodia to take his ailing brother there.  Then had  few drinks with MA and  boys at Hot Male beer bar. There’s new host,  named One there. Very nice young gentleman . But somehow I had hots for A at Moonlight so went there only to see him just being taken by customer. He apologetically said  “ I know you came here for Y” which was not accurate but what I could do if he was already taken ? So yes, knowing from yesterday that Y  will be available only till 2.30 am tonight I took him home anyways. I told you I seem not to have enough of him.
We found way to keep us occupied till that 2.30 , than he collected his ST tip and went to Bus Station to pick up his sister as he told me yesterday he will.
 

OVERDUE TRIP REPORT
Hi guys. This trip actually happened in January but now I am just getting around to writing about it! Unfortunately it was only a short trip, and also unfortunately I had some health issues come up which prevented me from doing everything that I had planned, but I will write about some of things I got up to.
 
Arrival
Not much to write about, but upon disembarking and going into the airport, the door going into the airport was locked so we all stood around for a bit whilst someone came to unlock it. Immigration was fairly close to where I was (and very busy) but I had to visit the toilet first, after which I found another immigration section which had considerably less people. Went through pretty quickly only needing my passport and boarding pass (no TM6 needed), and then went to collect my suitcase which took a considerable amount of time, and to put icing on the cake, the luggage tag on my suitcase must have fallen off or been ripped off in transit as it was not there. Shame, as I liked it. 
 
Pattaya (Jomtien)
In the past I had taken the bus every time I had been to Pattaya, but I thought for this trip I would try go by car. I booked Mike Taxi via the form on their website and communication was quick and efficient. 1000 THB to Pattaya. Found the representative at the arrival area, was told to wait for a bit before being sent off after being told the licence plate number and to go to the '2nd lane' which I had no idea what she meant, but then figured it out once I got outside. The trip was non-eventful (the driving was probably a little fast for my liking) but we made it there in 1.5 hours. As I looked out the window whilst driving through Pattaya I noticed more foreigners than Thais which I guess is a good sign that tourism is returning to normal. Arrived at Agate, which is beautifully presented and quite spacious (and for me, much better than Zing), went for a walk to TT and 7-11 to get some supplies. Had a decent foot massage at Burirom Massage and got some grab food for dinner. Note: the body wash at Agate smells divine.

Other things I got up to in Jomtien included walking the length of Dongtan Beach all the way to the view point, hanging out at one of the gay concessions at Dongtan Beach where I lazed happily reading a book (on my phone) and admired some handsome French men who were at the same concession, had a 'massage' at one of the places in the complex (I cannot remember the name, but it was the 2nd of the two that are on the same road as the Agate) which was kinda nice but not totally satisfying, did a morning walk of some of the length of Jomtien Beach (up until the boat ramp) and turns out that many people also had the same idea. I did do a lap of the complex on one of the evenings, but no-one really 'jumped out at me' so to speak, Grindr was also a little quiet for me, but I was not feeling 100% so I didn't mind.

 
To Bangkok
Upon checking out, the driver from Mike's Taxi was already waiting for me. I think next time I will take the bus - this driver drove also quite fast, was eating a mandarin, talking on the phone, texting on the phone, and at times talking to himself. Stopped twice so he could go to the toilet (totally fine) and another in Bangkok where he bought some food at a roadside stall down a random alley. But we made it safely. It took about 2.5 hours, and cost 1200 THB.
We arrived at about 2:30pm and I was getting a little worried as I had an appointment and Cutey and Beauty at 3:00pm. Checked into the Tarntawan with a 'welcome back', turns out my room was not ready yet, not to worry I said I would go to 7-11, to which they told me it was being renovated. Not to worry, I went to the other 7-11 (the big one) to buy a few things, back to the hotel and my room still wasn't ready and it was approaching 3:00pm (I did tell them I had an appointment), but at the last minute it was ready, I put my stuff in my room and headed to Cutey and Beauty and made my appointment on time. The owner or manager was out the front presumably waiting for me (as he greeted me by name), and I was ushered in and introduced to the attractive guys that would be attending to me. I firstly had a mani/pedi then a facial then a haircut. It was quite relaxing to be pampered. Cost THB 1500.
Afterwards I went to Prime to make an appointment for either that night or the next day but turns out they had an appointment available in 25 minutes so I went back to the hotel for a bit then went back to Prime for my 1 hour foot/1 hour Thai which is my favourite combination. High quality as usual. Walked around Silom a little, had dinner at Bon Chon at Silom Complex, and later went to Dreamboys where I got to see their new premises for the first time. I had been there before but when it was Lucky Boys. Sat up the back (my preferred seating) watched the show for a bit, saw my favourite dreamboy to which he noticed me, came over, we caught up and went back to the hotel together. It was getting late at this stage so by the time we finished having fun he said 'good night' and that is how my first accidental long time eventuated. I much prefer short time, but because I had offed him a few times in the past it was fine. 

Other things I did in Bangkok included walking around Lumpini Park, eating at Sunrise Tacos on soi 4 (which was quite nice), Somtum Der (also very nice), went to Senso for the first time where I had a great time - most of the guys there are hunks, but I ended up choosing a guy who was more of a twink because as he was super attractive. Went up what seemed to be never-ending stairs, showered separately beforehand, the massage was fine and the afters were quite good - his dick was shaped nicely and hit all the right spots. Showered together afterwards, and exchanged line details. Would definitely repeat, not cheap though. The premises/ambience was quite nice. Also went to Dreamboys again, this time earlier in the evening to do a short time with my favourite so that he could be back in time to do the show. Sent him off with some goodies from 7-11 that I couldn't take with me. 
 
Trip back home
By this time I was feeling quite unwell and just wanted to get home so I could recover. But alas, it was not meant to be. Turns out that I somehow had mixed up the time of my return flight and only realised my mistake when I was on the train to the airport and the flight had already departed. I talked to a few staff but nothing much could be done, so I tried to book another flight from my phone and was nearly successful apart from when I had to provide the 'one time password' which is sent to my regular number (I had a travel SIM in my phone at the time), so swapped SIM cards to get the code, and swapped back and by that time the whole thing had timed out, so I gave up and decided to go to the airport hotel (which was very nice, but cost an arm and a leg) and deal with it all later. Under normal circumstances I would have just jumped back onto the slut bus back to Silom and continued my holiday for a bit longer, but I was just not feeling it. So after checking in and having something to eat, I searched around for a suitable flight, found one which departed a few days later and booked it. What I decided to do in the days leading up to the flight (inspired by Vinapu) is stay at some different hotels along the airport rail link. 
 
Hotels
First up was the Baiyoke Sky Hotel (which is close to Ratchprarop station). It is very tall and I stayed on the 67th floor. The view was amazing (although the room I got only had 2 small windows, rather than a floor to ceiling view, maybe I chose the wrong room type), but that is all that is going for it to be honest. The hotel was a little tired and probably needs some renovation. It was quite roomy though. Next stop was the Nasa Hotel (which was near Ramkhamhaeng station). The reviews were not very good, but I decided to try anyway. I booked the most expensive room type and when I got there, I was wondering if this is the most expensive, then what would the cheaper rooms look like? Anyway, it was only for a night and I just wanted to try. And finally the next hotel was The Silver Palm Wellness Resort (near Hua Mak station). This was quite nice actually. It was like a resort style nestled in the middle of a bustling city. Finally the next day I caught my flight successfully on Cathay Pacific. The lounge at Suvarnabhumi was not open so I got to use the KLM lounge which was not amazing, but okay. The lounge in Hong Kong was very very nice though. 
I made it home finally, and recovered well and decided maybe not to go to Thailand for at least a year. However, that idea was short-lived as I will now be there next month lol. I'm going to do it better this time and enjoy myself more!

THE LIGHTS ARE BACK ON IN BANGKOK
Thank god your lad was right. Closure of the naughty bars only lasted one night. So I could go out again. First on my list was to check out the new DreamBoy location. Big improvement, because there's no big pole anymore obstructing the view. Temperature good, music loud but for me not too loud. Massive stage, full with about 50 (!) boys. All types. Show at 22h30 was same same as always and everywhere. 
Lots of boys and for sure also some that I liked. But it was still early and wanted to check out other bar also. So to the other side of the street to Hotmale I went. Show there finished already. Only a group of 3 Asian customers with buckets off alcohol drinking with some of the boys. About 15 boys working. I was told 10 boys were already taken earlier that night just after the 22h30 show. Because no customers, no 2nd show tonight. Boys all wearing red long sport trousers on stage. Some even kept their shirt on. 
Invited a cute smiling boy with good body over to have a drink with me. After some talking, touching (feeling his 6pack) and groping decided to take him home for the night. 
By the way, if you're going to stay in Quarter Silom Hotel than you could request a room in "tower 3". Entrance to this building is separate, you or/and your boys will not have to pass reception for greater privacy. 
 
A NICE AFTERNOON DELIGHT
In September I met this goodlooking half Thai / half Dutch guy. 
He told me to contact him again when I was in Thailand the next time. So off course I did. And this time was as good as I remembered from September. His mouth and hole hungry for my dick. Active but submissive. And very friendly also.

10000k per week is less than 1500 for a day it's not attractive enough to convince a typical Thai boy to accept such an offer. It's usually min. 2500 per day.

Any of you guys visited the out-of-silom host bars? How was the expierence? I am a bit afraid for the Jupiter-effect: very hot and goodlooking guys who are more interested in the female customers who sit down with bottles of alcohol to share with the boys and less interested in us old falang gays looking for a boy to take for the night... 
Is is worth traveling to such a place or better to stick to the knows and closeby places in Silom? 

Day 15 and summary
 A left earlier. We met many times before and I’m pretty sure he noticed  I like our new companion so much so he decided to give us hour or two more, just two of us and when he suggested he will go , true to form I said Ok. Sometime later  mu guy  said it’s time for him to go and for me to do the same. Shower together , agreed tip plus 500 , he went his way , I packed my goodies and when it started dawning I was on the street catching taxi which conveniently just appeared on horizon. No drama this time , 257 baht  on the meter to Swampy. He was very happy when I gave him 300 and asked to keep the change. Two or so hours later I was  in the air , taking off from Thailand for 27th time.
Time to summarize .
I call this trip short  but only because last three were almost month long but before 2 weeks was kind of standard, twice I flew just for 1 week and was surprised it worked well.
It was first time I was in LOS in January and February and weather was very pleasant but last few days in beginning of February it could be sensed temperature and humidity is climbing up.
 I’m glad I returned to butterflying  meeting only V , N in Pattaya and Maii at Jey Spa more than once. Some boys were probably disappointed , I get it , but it seemed to work for me as previously I noticed in few cases bit of complacency. I don’t like to be taken for granted even if I’m.
This is not what it was supposed to be , it was supposed solid 8 days spent with CCP in Phnom Penh and Bangkok but regretfully it did not happen. I was leaving home with very high hopes, expecting great time with him but also aware that we don’t know each other really and his antics with flight change and money requests were warning signals.
 Few of my friends  who were privy to affair from beginning , all were right – chances are that it will not work they warned me unanimously and early on  . So stupid  guy at least has smart friends, no?
 I feel disappointed but not bitter. I tried but it did not work . Will I pursue him again ? Most likely no. Will I try once more if he will pursue me ? Most likely yes, much smarter from  that experience. No money in advance , no commitment to anything more initially than night stand and only then if satisfied  I may look for repeat. Will he try to contact me in the future ? I very much doubt as he may suspect I’m mad as hell.
 Other than that most guys I met were very good to excellent. Even Tawan boys with exception of one but their sin was with being too greedy so chances are I will put them on diet in future. Best bar this trip for me was , surprisingly to even myself , Hot Male. At one point I counted 10 boys on the stage I could off one by one.
It looks I firmly start liking Jupiter, second off in row better than just satisfactory. And I don’t even count HC taken from there, He was bit of sore point of my trip in October but it looks he turned out changed man to my extreme delight. Him, N in Pattaya and guy who visited me in Phnom Penh were as close to boyfriend experience as I could wish followed by several others , not far behind.
 But if you ask me which of guys I met would be my choice if I had only 1 night in Bangkok it would be my last guy  from Moonlight. Somehow I’m intrigued by him, I don’t know why but it must be personality
 I was also intrigued by no less than 3 guys at Banana, all twinks but sold themselves on their smiles. Next time I may be busy there to Lucy’s delight. I don’t even mention one of their barkers, very easy on eyes indeed and guy I offed from there, another sweet treat.
Whenever I return I will pursue  both  “ axe murderers “  I spot in ThaiRelax soi 6 and in Jomtien. Only hope they will be there.
I mentioned this year is big question mark for me when comes to travel everywhere. This may mean that I may show up at Thai illustrious shores at very short notice if I will see that’s only option.
 As for hotels I found  Okay Boutique in Phnom Penh extremely good value for money and can recommend it with clear conscience. I continue to consider Furama Sathorn Xclusive as my top find in Silom area ,  while still loyal to Baan Silom. Rose and particularly Le Siam were nice discoveries while shiny Ibis Styles , while impressive , I found bit overpriced for what I got . I like some space in my rooms. But I’m glad I tried them.
Jet lags continue to ruin me , each time it seems to be worse and worse. Only cure are longer trips and less hectic schedule in the first week. Or staying home , obviously not an option.
 Even with stress and disappointment this trip belongs definitely to better half of my trips so far.
 
 

Preliminaries
 Normally January to April is NOT a period in which I travel due to work commitments. I wouldn’t even plan it but there are some issues brewing for later part of 2023 which may stop me from travel , at least from travel to Asia. And work load seemed lighter for  this January as younger colleagues took the slack  so just before Christmas I decided to book another trip to our beloved Land of Smiles.
 Time wise all I could afford was 2 weeks and that is what I aimed for. It will be also my first trip in January and February. When I return I’ll be left only with March , Apr and July to cover
Some readers may recall following statement from my Oct/ Nov 2022 trip summary :
“ Surprisingly perhaps  guy I consider most memorable of the whole trip was one whom I did not even off, that hunk I met in bar in PP. Perhaps that’s good  - reason to return there sooner the better.”
Yes , I liked him a lot so as part of planned trip I booked flight for 3 days to Phnom Penh (PP ) just to check if he is still working there.
In Oct  he told me that he is not going with clients , just drinks with them in bar and when I tried to suggest he can accompany me for trip to Siem Reap he said  he is busy till end of 2022 but may be available in next year. When in Siem Reap I made last effort to see if he would come to see me there but response was the same and this was last I heard from him. In short I gave up  but being in the region I wanted to try once more.
Applied for Cambodian e-visa and it was issued overnight so all I had to do was to wait for departure day month Iater.
 Guardian Angel had other plans for me though, right after New Year , out of blue Line message came from my guy asking ‘ How are you ?’ like he knew I’m coming . Which was not a case as very few people knew about my plans and nobody , including me , even knew his name or nick. It’s why I suspect Angel’s hand in that.
 I was thrilled and even more  few hours later when new message arrived ‘ now I have time for us”. Obviously it seemed that he somehow remembered his ‘ next year possible ‘ statement. That landed me immediately on Cloud 7 if not 9 and that feeling did not leave me for quite few days. Even now on recollection I can’t help but smile.
We ironed things fast, I suggested 5 days trip to either Angkor or Bangkok and Pattaya (3+2). He opted for Thailand  but for some reason  only for 3 days Bangkok part.  Fine , what about 5 days in Bangkok  ?
Immediately it was approved ‘yes , 5 days”. He sent me copy of his passport so I could buy him ticket , outbound for  exactly the same flight I was supposed to return to Bangkok originally.
 What about kissing? “yes I kiss and I want you to kiss me too”, “ I will do my best we have fun together”.
Financial arrangements were set for both PP and Bangkok part. Being prime beef he knew his price but from my point of view what he asked for was roughly what I spend daily for massage and overnight session  so I did not have any problems approving his request.
 Learning he has a car I suggested taking two trips to sights near PP by his car and offered price bit higher than travel office would charge expecting that premium goes toward stolen kiss or 5 somewhere on the road.
 All that took only 1 or 2 days during which I never left my cloud 9 happy mood fortified by few pictures he send me unsolicited ( no I will not post them here nor send to you by PM even if they were decent pictures , suitable for grandma to see ).
Week later cloud 9 become bit cloudy indeed with message ‘ you should go to Bangkok before me “????
Why ? we are on the same flight but we can pretend we don’t know each other. “ I want to make sure you are in Bangkok before me since I did not travel for long time “.
  I find it strange  but being NOT about to blow whole thing about additional ticket ( my original was not refundable, non changeable I asked if the same day is OK , it was , what about flight which takes off 20 minutes earlier ? It’s OK too. Very puzzling but I invested 80 $ in new ticket, cheap price considering I’m looking for 8 days in arms of one of best guys I ever put my eyes on.
 I have few ideas what may be reason but none convincing so I just let it go.
After daily rounds of ‘how are you today ?” messages  few days later more up to a point message came
“ I did not travel for long and need new clothes,  shoes and suitcase, can you send me 350 $”, Oho, ho though I, it starts already .
I suggested that we can do shopping when I’m 3 days in PP but he said he prefers to do it now because there are great sales before Chinese New Year. Makes sense.
But again , hoping for the best I sent him 200$ and promised to gift him my new suitcase I just bought, enforced it even with the picture.  Fact that I put limit on request was noticed but with what seemed good humor.
So now I descended from cloud 9 to level 5 if not 4 but still I’m thrilled with anticipation. Even see good point with that split flight as it could be escape route for me if those 3 days in PP will turn sour or something. 10 days to go and I really count days but seeing those requests I also start thinking about escape route if need arises.
 Then few days before departure next request comes , car loan  of 426 $ to be repaid enforced with photo of previous payment. It looked authentic with payment due 3 days before my arrival in PP.   Can  I borrow him that money and subsequently deduct from his payments when we meet ?   No, I don’t want to do any advance payments, organize money there I answered while confirming our financial arrangements.
 Answer was “ ok I understand , see you in PP in few days “ .
 So I’m still thrilled locking my door ready to go to the airport but seeing things are bit less rosy although not unexpected I resolved to leave money I set aside for him for Bangkok part in trusted hands in BKK and not to reveal name of hotel we will be in until we both land in Swampy. Also fact that I’m planning to change hotels after 3 nights as it’s my habit anyways is supposed to be hidden until morning of move. Just in case.
That request to fly separately bothers me a bit it needs to be said,  if only because I can’t come up with plausible explanation.
 I’m not overly suspicious realizing that some of it may be related to fact that while his spoken English is  quite conversational , his written language is quite poor so that my be reason plausible explanation is not coming.
 Another factor tempering my excitement is concern how I will keep him entertained   during those 5 days as his ideas of good time maybe different from mine but that is problem for us to solve in due course. Which is soon.
 

I always try to find a gay "guide" who is with me almost 24/7.  I prefer one I can sleep with and my ad for a guide on grindr states the same (GPS spoof into the area).   when a man responds to the ad that I like, i try to build a friendship before I arrive.   While I can and do enjoy being a slut, I am very happy with a single compatible friendly local man.  Biggest problem I have is clingy possessive marry me issues.
I am in the Philippines with a  "BF" guide now.  fun to be with, good in bed, hope I can keep him as a friend, no a husband.
But, I would also hire a local non-sexual guide.  In an ad for service, if non-sexual, I would prefer they state that like SiamRoads.  (however, I have old experience with one SiamRoads guide that leads me to believe some may be more flexible as would be expected if there is some attraction).  I would also like a picture.  when window shopping guides, a sexy man will always get my first call.

Wow same symptom for me last November. I was lucky enough the boy I just offed long stay insisted to come back to take care of me. Lovely and caring. All night he took care of me like a nurse with a wet towel on my head to cool down the fever... pills to stop coughing ....no need to go to hospital. 
After 2 days back to normal.
I then decided to off him long stay 1 full week....

While the start of high season has bought a large number of new faces (tourists) wondering around Jomtien Complex, a majority of people sitting in the complex are expats, at least from my observations of the last week or so. I would estimate 60/40.
Speaking for myself and the majority of my friends, when we are in the complex we sit as a group of expats. Occasionally there will be a boyfriend with one or two of us, but not always. What is normally the case is in a bar nearby, our boys are having their own fun with their friends. When I see a guy sitting alone in a bar, it's very rarely someone I recognise as an expat. I normally assume it's a tourist looking for a boy to go sit with. Few expats go to Jomtien Complex to pay bar fines and take boys. That's generally a tourist activity. Speaking personally, I'm an afternoon person. The evening is for dinner and drinks. 

I would say that it's quite easy to get into a conversation with other expats even as a tourist, you just need to pick the right bar, and know your tribe. If you are British, go to @home bar and chat to someone at Zacks table. If you are Australian, go meet Rob at Cocka2 Bar. He will talk your ear off and be happy to meet you, and introduce you to everyone else there. German? Go to Dolce Vita. Swiss, BuBu Bar, Flemish/Dutch, Doubleshot, ect ect. Most expats prefer to talk in their native language, understandably. 

As for "making friends"... That will take time. Most expats have quite close-nit groups of friends and not always open to "new people". It's sad to say but there are some very dodgy people around Pattaya. I guess anything worth doing takes time. 

 

Where in the world would you be able to see a sexy live show for only $15? A 500 baht cover or a 500 baht drink with fee admission is not too high. There are costs to putting on these shows.

The only time I was there it was filled with Japanese dads and grandpas and little kids, as well as other Japanese tourists. There was also a smattering of uncomfortable-looking locals. I'd say my Japanese boyfriend and I were in a tiny minority of gay guests. I found the place to be extremely uncomfortable as all the dads, grandpas and little kids kept staring at me. I can't imagine customers going there and wanting to be stared at. And the facility was too small to accommodate the crowd it had attracted. I couldn't find a bath to dip into to get all the eyes off my junk. I felt like I was being singled out. I don't think I would have enjoyed that kind of attention if I were at a gay sauna.
Plus, unlike Japanese hot springs, or even those in Beitou, on the outskirts of Taipei, the water didn't leave my skin feeling soft and youthful, but rather dry and chlorinated.
It was an all-around awful experience.
 

Day 8
No  morning rush other than trying to get up before they close for breakfast. We made it. Then V left his way and I,  as every day went  to Unesco for daily talk with my friend. We will be parting our ways tomorrow , he is going home and I fly to my next destination  Luang Prabang. It was fun to chase guys at the same time . We were truly concerned  how HC is doing owing to his puzzling  behavior and praising unfailing V and other guys we both were happy with.
 I resolved to get energetic today as Laos trip was supposed to be touristy, not boy chasing.
 Early afternoon we went together to Arena. I picked up guy I never saw before and it was good choice. I left happy and so was my friend with his . Then he went his way and I took leisurely stroll to Senso hoping  M , my pre-covid favorite will show up. Unfortunately no.
 Today’s selection was quite limited to 4 guys only , one of them was guy whom I had  before I went to Cambodia. He cut me on time than and today pretended not even to recognize me hardly convincing three weeks later. His loss as I like him and had he been smiling order were his. Since he did not I took next in line for attractiveness.  It was notch above OK , just that,  so I can’t say Senso this trip thrilled me much.
Yesterday in passing I promised P, new guy from Hot male beer bar to take him this afternoon. It looked he is lacking Swiss genes HC has as at agreed hour he was still no-show. Since after 2 massages in row I felt hungry I told guys there to ask him to wait for me  and went to soi 4 for my schnitzel, Good move as I walked perhaps 10 steps and P appeared on horizon. I paid off fee and we both marched to G’Bangkok and from there to my room.

Ice was broken , at least to a degree, I actually enjoyed it as quite new experience.
I like my guys older so usually they are long in teeth when comes to their job, this time it was refreshingly different. I also liked to see my gentle side , lol. It was rewarding to see hesitance melting and even more when  time come to give a tip. Smile was wide and I have feeling ever since he will like his new calling. I walked him, visibly relaxed and happy it’s over back to the bar  as I wanted to talk to paulsf. Soon after anddy joined us and we had nice time there talking and flirting with their guys.
It was almost 11 when I kissed good bye to everybody and went  to Tawan. Of course greeted with handshakes and smiles not only by quite a few boys as always but also by ladyboys performing on the stage” welcome KFC men” and all. A little disappointingly for some ATM today was rusty, no drinks for K, Dam and twink Mas who expectingly  joined me at the table immediately but I found red notes for each of them and all three nice ladyboys on the stage as well.
There was one guy who was waiting quietly in the shadows, muscle god B whom I see on my first night when originally arrived and following day before I went to Cambodia. He could afford patience as he new from earlier Line to him that if I show tonight it will be  because I want ride to hotel   on his motorbike. We made detour to Foodland  as he was hungry, I treated myself with some dessert still full after schnitzel and then all those drinks at HotMale. In the room he proved his worth, not that I ever doubted it  but it’s nice when hired guy shows that he actually is happy with  his task at hand.  I satisfied his vanity side my praising his musculature but it’s worth a praise , not a gram of fat. It was great  finish to day 8 and actually all Thai leg of this trip.
 
Day 9  
In the morning I felt it was right to  up his tip by another 1000. Again no morning rush, just to get to breakfast on time , then I waved him good bye, returned to room to pack whatever little I had. Then had last walk around Silom and Surwong. Couldn’t see my friend as he was busy with finishing touches of his trip as well. Then BTS to Silom, MRT to Bang Sue and SRT red line to Don Muang. It took bit over 1 hour but immigration and boarding went fast and smoothly and soon I was waving good bye to our beloved Thailand for second time this trip. Good bye Bangkok, welcome Luang Prabang. Laos part of trip will be reported in a separate thread in due course. We have awful weather so it may be soon.

I'm shy introvert although not necessarily one who seats in the corner and won't look at other farangs but certainly not one who strikes conversation with strangers in bar first. How I managed to meet 29 of our members is one of life great mysteries  

I want to mention two massage shops I’ve sampled in the past week.
I’ve had it on my mind since my last trip to get out to KK Massage in the Saphan Kwai area (not to be confused with K-Man Spa even  if they they share same owner). Finally made it this time with the help of a good map provided in a post by Totally Oz (see link below). For those going by public transportation, take exit 2 at Saphan Kwai BTS stop. It’s about a 25-minute walk or short bike or taxi ride). 
This is a small, basic shop of the type you find in the areas outside of main business district. Mattress  on the  floor and shower down the hall.  But it may very well have one of the best stables in town. Upon arrival I chose from an array of guys the manager said were available
The manager showed me a phone array of guys on call at the moment. After a quick scan I could have chosen any one of them and quickly pointed out one who made best impression. 
Manager called the boy and then took me to a room on second floor, pointing out shower location along way. I’d just finished undressing and was wrapping towel around me when there was a knock and my guy  arrived. He smiled and immediately stripped down and led me to shower. I knew from this point I was in good hands. As usual, I spent 10 or so minutes massaging him (how could I not?).
He turned out to be from Myanmar, 22, and has been in Bkk for a few years. He had almost no English but everything else I wanted. Already generously equipped, a tad more and you could easily imagine him among the Spa Boys of Myanmar. After a very satisfactory session, he took me back to shower.
I’d been informed the minimum expected tip was 800 for the one hour oil I’d selected (I paid him 1200). One hour is 400 and 90 minutes 600).
This was worth going out of my way for and plan repeat visit.

The other shop I stumbled upon while touring the massage opportunities on upper Silom was Paradis (no e). There were a few guys sitting outside Soi 2 and both smiled broadly. One started chatting and showed me menu. I had a good feeling about this and agreed on one hour oil (500). He led into Soi 2 and soon turned right and took elevator to second floor. Doors opened to a spacious area with foot massage chairs. After removing shoes he led me to a good size room with massage table and shower.
After showering alone, he returned and pointed to his pants and I said, Yes, please. Another satisfactory journey had taken the first step. He had sufficient English to carry on conversation and I soon learned he had once worked at the since closed Nakarat shop on Soi 4. We reminisced about guys I had known and he filled me in on where some had landed.
He was a 28–year-old Lao guy who I vaguely remembered and most likely had used his services at Nakarat—among a handful of others there over the years. He seemed to know what I liked before I told him.He showered with me after and we chatted some more. 
Overall, I was pleased to get reunited with an old hand in nice accommodations.

It has to be about 12 years ago that I was approached by a gorgeous guy on Soi Tarntawan who was hawking for Super A bar. I can still remember his line" "You don't have to buy drink. Just go take a look." I had been to Super A before and knew I'd never find a guy this good inside so I replied, "you're a really cute guy; would you like to come to my hotel?" He seemed taken aback and after a few seconds responded with. "OK, 4,000 baht."
I'd never heard a number like this before and I said, "you're not that cute."
I regret it to this day. Not only because it was unkind, but it wasn't true. He was that cute. Those four words abruptly ended any opportunity I may have had with him.
That I can still recall the exchange a dozen years ago makes it all so clear to me that I've never really forgotten him. When I passed by him a week or so later, he just looked down and shuffled his feet.
Why didn't I just make a counter offer? Why didn't I apologize when I saw him again? 
Because I was stupid.
 
 

I couldn't have explained any better than this, I have been to one 4 yrs ago and planning this year again. It's fun for couple of hours but then you get bored, SILOM seems much better option after 2:00am and if you have few friends around then the night is fun anyway
