I think flying to Siem Reap makes a lot more sense unless you have a whole lotta time. But there is a lot to see outside of Bangkok so it's not a terrible idea if you want to see more rural areas and some of the regional sights.
Airport transfers are easy to organize on your own. Either by taxi or one of the many car services. I've used to SP Limousine (splimousine.com) for many years.
I have a friend who is a licensed guide. He's put together lots of great trips for me over the years. He's in Saraburi now teaching English most of the time but can get time off here and there to guide some guests. We went to Ubon Ratchathani for a few days back in January. I think there's some sort of network that allows guides and drivers to find each other.
I can see if he's interested in working with you.

It is fully back. They did an amazing work keeping everything intact, although in a new server. Survival is now guaranteed, as long as the new admins do not ruin it.

We are fixing this today. We are a one system site and the upgrade from Invision disabled that. The programmers have worked to solve the auto login as if passwords are changed in the forum, it does not change the main site password and will cause issues.
Good things is we have a solution and are rolling it out today. If you have issues, email me at: badboysclub@gmail.com
We are moving in the coming months to more forum only so your patience is appreciated until this happens.

First good news of 2020. This should help a lot with travel, work, (hook-ups). Antigen test. News just hit Reuters,  @Riobard ?
The portable test is about the size of a credit card, requires no additional equipment to operate, and can be conducted using a less invasive nasal swab than traditional lab tests, Abbott executives said on a call with reporters.
Abbott expects to ship tens of millions of tests in September, ramping to 50 million tests a month from the beginning of October.

I've only been to the Arizona memorial once but when we went we seemed to be the only non-Japanese in about 200 people. You know the majority of tourists to Hawaii are always Japanese and almost half the population of Hawaii is Japanese-American. I googled and the site intentionally does not keep records of the nationality of visitors and tour guides there have said about half are Japanese tourists.  WW2 is viewed differently by the Japanese tourists as is Pearl Harbor and it's a little weird being at the Arizona memorial with them.

Imagine family gatherings of siblings, aunts, uncles and so on, gathered around sharing memories, how those conversations drift.  That's part of the nature of conversation.
That said, the OP might give some thought to their goal for the thread and be mindful how well their first post might frame the intent of the discussion.
If folks decide to go off on a tangent, others might politely reign in the dialogue back on track.
Or wave a white flag and move on.

    Welcome.
To me, Thread drift is just a natural part of the conversations. If people are interested in the fork in the road, they take it, otherwise it turns into a side or related comment. If you don't want  the conversation to take the side road, you post more about the main thread and try to bring it back.
But once you've posted, you're inviting everyone to speak. You don't really get to tell them what they're allowed to say.
But your post is a good example of why I don't hang out over there. A disagreement about thread direction turns into a drama fest because almost everything turns into a drama fest.

Unfortunately Marylander lives close to me and saw me with a famous visiting pornstar friend I had mentioned on Daddy's. He then started threatening on Daddys to turn my friend in for escorting while in the US. He's repeated that threat several times and always reminds me he knows who and where I am and live. He also trolls here because he's mentioned things I said before about him here on Daddys. (He was banned for a long while at Daddys and posted here mostly for a while.) There are a few rather threatening guys posting on both sites who seem to scour every post on both sites to get as much information on posters as they can and try to cause as much personal trouble for people as they can. The online jungle.

I have learned not to stress over these Bans, so just enjoy your time on Exile Island....  A little time away from delusional Trolls and "needy nellies" aint a bad thing...  Regroup and refresh, but just know that if you choose to go back when your Ban ends,  nothing will have changed.

Tass, as you may know, I was one of the biggest Gallery posters @ Daddy's, and my pic posts have garnered 1000's of likes.  Yet I have been Banned like 50 times, and each recent time has been for 6 month periods.  This current Ban is also for posting a pic of "underage".  I got no warning, but discovered my Ban when I went to login.  I emailed Daddy and asked for the reason and was told "child porn"...  I then asked for a copy of the offending pic, but never received it.   In MY case, It's Daddy's way of making making a trumped up charge with NO evidence and getting rid of me for 6 months at a time, avoiding any blowback he might get for a  PERMANENT ban of a popular poster..... You know however that Marylander is the "kid porn patrol" and is constantly "reporting" people" for what HE perceives to be "underage" posts....?   (until HE posts an underage pic and then its OK)   .  There are alot of SHADY bitches over there, so dont turn your back unless you want to get a HUGE KNIFE in it.
PS, Daddy needs to learn that we are ALL responsible Adults, and know what kiddie porn is...And we know the TOS rules...  Why would we want to risk a lengthy Ban and ignore those rules..
Its simply his paranoia and way of exerting his POWER over the members.   Like Trump, he has a serious need to keep showing that HE is the boss bitch.....

I fear I'll get in some kind of trouble over there for even chiming in here, but I can absolutely commiserate with the original post of this thread as a general complaint against Daddy's MC.  It's been a long time since I participated with any real regularity to the Message Center on Daddy's.  A few weeks ago I was enjoying sharing music videos in a few discussion threads with titles like, "post a song that makes you emotional", "post a song that makes you horny".
One night I get a pissy message about me violating TOS regarding child pornography and I was now on thin ice.  What the fuck?  Turns out that when I had posted a link to the video for the MGMT song Kids, the first frame of that video is, understandably, a kid.
Everyone thinks they are special, and of course I do too.  I responded mostly politely, but what I wanted to say was, "Look.  given that I've been on this site since Hooboy created it in 1999, given that I am the longest consistently advertising and working escort currently still working and advertising, given that it's not my fault that the first frame of the video was a still of a clothed Kid (the song is called Kids, after all), maybe instead of coming at me with a threat of potential expulsion and pointing to the TOS section on Child Porn, you could have instead written me:
"Hey, Rod.  We need to be careful (see linked TOS) about the content on our site given that our servers [inexplicably] aren't stored overseas.  You may not have noticed, but the picture that the link to the music video you posted in "this" thread  had a photo of a kid, so we had to delete it.  This may seem like overkill, but we have to be overly cautious.  Please be careful in the future, and if you want to post a link to the song again, please find a video without that first freeze frame of a Kid.  THANKS!" "
Asshole.  So, of course, now I'm pouting, and hardly posting, and no longer sharing music. That's my recent story.  Course it had nothing to do with participants and administrators being racist, just annoying and overbearing.

I think my emotional bond has to do exactly with that. We shared the same existentialist mindset. I think I can relate to the anguish that took his life, I just do not understand why he made that decision so soon,
