Until now I have avoided this topic because I feel so strongly about it. I just cannot imagine that a government agency having the job of promoting tourism has the ultimate stupidity to take this position. They constantly talk about promoting tourism but then come up with a plan to screw foreigners coming to Thailand. Perhaps their mothers dropped them on their heads shortly after birth.
One of the great things about this place is that counter to Sawatdee this site talks more about Bangkok. The other place should relabel itself as Pattaya, Pattaya & Pattaya. I don't dislike Pattaya but I live in Bangkok and am interested in what is going on here.ðŸ¤
I stay at Tarntawan many years ago when I first came to Bangkok. The bed cover was dirty and despite two calls to the desk it was never changed. I don't think their level of cleanliness has ever changed from what others have told me. That's my sole complaint about the place but it's enough for me to stay away. So I put the XXX on the place.
I think that is great to have this place. It is so much more interesting and open than the Russian's domain. Many thanks to whoever owns and operates it.
Anyone been to Tawan recently? I've not been there in several years and wonder what it is like these days.
Thanks to anyone who takes the time to reply.
In perusing Planet Romeo looking for escorts in the Philippines I see that all escorts, who state fees, are asking for $100 or more. I thought this to be more than I would have guessed. Anyone able to verify this to be accurate or not?
The closest thing to what is discussed here was the Malaysia Hotel in Bangkok. Unfortunately the owner has chosen to stop boys from hanging out on the patio.
Ah, what a great day it was a few years ago.
I have never heard of a hotel in Japan dedicated to escorts but many boys are available in Tokyo.
It is no problem in "normal" times. I've been several times and nothing specially difficult in traveling there. Food is not nearly as good as Thailand and Cambodia.
My appreciation to all of you who responded to my post.
Lucky, he is still in Thailand and I'm happy for him. As much as I miss him it is good for him to be there because he loves his home country.
I'm still trapped here in the US and, unfortunately it is most uncertain when I will be able to return to my home in Thailand. They have started allowing a few foreigners to enter the country but not many and there are many restrictions. This is very sad for me and I hope things change soon.
