Last night of this trip, the 3rd consecutive 202 Wednesday. Arrived at 5:30, a little quiet. Things heat up soon after 6. Lot of boys arrive one after another. A little thin on the clients, 3rd week of the month?
N, my all time favorite whom I met 3 years ago at 202, stopped working the sauna after just 7 months. Later became a FX trader. Smart and sweet boy, not at all manipulative, part of the charm. Along with a couple hits at Fragata and Lagoa in the same 2018-2019 period, really got me hooked on Brazil. Now, this trip is a little underwhelming. Seeing N’s brother, who is not my type, still working 202 is a sad reminder for me. 
 
lot of boys, but my favorite type: slim masculine student-ish, is as usual, in short supply. One white young man from Bahia I never seen before has a great face, but soft in the middle and more top than bottom. Decides to look around more.
the virgin 18 yo is in house again. He is more cheerful tonight and is not so adamant he doesn’t eat ass anymore. He is by far, the closest to my type tonight. His smile wins me over. Not really interested in seeing a boy in pain for money, we made a deal to have some fun without penetration. He seems rather relieved about it too. Not bad. It’s a pleasant session to end the trip. 5 minutes over half an hour, got charged for the room. Whatever.
 
Boy like N, really raised my expectations. In a way, it’s best the way it ended. I would hate to see him like B, who still has the looks, but not nearly as much fun as before.
To sum up, Lagoa’s move to new location is a success, more varieties now. Sad Fragata is history now. Had it too good at 202 in 2019 and 2021, it’s hard to be so good every trip. Thinking about it, 2019 December was not a great trip sauna wise either, with N retiring suddenly. But 2021 trip was great. Boys come and go. I am thankful i had the luck meeting some of the boys when they happen to make themselves available.
Now once again, time to go back to real life.

staying in Catete for the last few nights. Uber to GIG at 8am was a quick ride of 20/25 minutes at 40 Reals! No rush hour traffic at all. Didn’t have to get up so early!
while Panama City airport has been back to old normal days with crowds and busy schedule, GIG is still in deep coma recovering from the COVID hit🥲 between 10-21 on a Thursday, there are merely 9 take offs! No wonder the lounges for priority club etc are still shut!
Rio the city has pretty much moved beyond COVID. Comparing to last September, I am happy to see face masks mostly disappearing, along with the plastic glove at breakfast buffet nonsense. 
 
São Paulo still has a mask mandate in public transit. But the vip lounges have reopened at GRU. 
 
Recovering for sure, albeit rather slowly.

The famed 117 Tuesday. Spent about 2 hours there, no hit, but some interesting findings and thoughts.
1st, full house and very happening. Yet, since music doesn’t reach from the club to the entrance area so it feels a little down when there are not a lot of traffic. 
 
2nd, B, the boy I fancied in 202 last year and just paid dearly to get to my hotel on Saturday is working here. I guess he didn’t tell the whole truth. Seems he has several regulars here. Soon he went up with a dad/son pair.
 
3rd, a very handsome slim masculine white boy very much my type. Actually I could say the same for a black boy who works both 117 and 202. Sadly both are strict top only.
4th, a slim handsome middle class looking Brazilian boy came in, an old guy tried to feel him up as they walk by each other at the entrance, he moved away. Turned out he is a client. And the white working boy I just drooled over is his regular! They quickly went away together cuddling over drinks. 
 
Checked out without action from 117, I can’t help but think there must be tons of bottom clients at 117. Both B and D I first met at 202 were good bottoms, but once they start working at 117, their bottom skills diminished quickly.
The reason I prefer 202 and fragata is that there I can find slim handsome masculine boys I like who might hate bottoming naturally but learn to somewhat enjoy it for money.

Sunday & Monday, 2 days celibacy, well, not quite.
Spent Sunday afternoon at Ipanema watching sunset. Cute local boys hang around in groups or solo, rolling joints, drinking, having fun. So so sunset. After so many trips to Rio, almost everywhere I go now making me remember a friend or a boy. 
Need to do something new, so I booked DIY bus trip to Teresópolis to hike in Serra Dos Orgaos national park. It was 1 hour drive away from Rio, two hours on bus. Nice views and solitude on a Monday hike. Had the 360 view point all to my self. You can recognize some major peaks of Rio from 50km away, sugar loaf and Corcovado.
Only run into 7 other people. Walked from the park back to bus station as i had 2 hours to kill. The city itself looks rather middle class neat. If there is a boy sauna, I would love to retire here.
Just by luck, I booked 4 pm bus returning to Rio. Had some wonderful sunset views.
Change hotel tonight. After 13 hours on the road, nice to shower and rest. Turn on grindr, this boy who is vacationing with his parents staying in the same hotel messaged me that his parents are away shopping, do i want to meet up. Had a chat at the pool, then had some fun in my room. Not the cutest, but the boy can deepthroat! putting all the working boys i met this trip to shame😅in the end, i am too tired from the long day to keep a hard on for fucking though. Maybe another night.

Was it the cold snap? When low temperature dips into low teens, they actually issue cold alert here in Brazil. Sao Paulo almost hit a 30 year cold record for the last night I was there, with low dipping to 6c. Lagoa was full house most days though. 202 is hit and miss. Wednesday full house. Quiet this past Friday. 
The 202 boy I fancied from last year responded to my message on Instagram unexpectedly. So we set up a date in my hotel at 3:30. The boy didn't show up until 5:20. He did message me at 3:30 letting me know he will be late. 
While the boy is as cute as ever, he hasn't had any gay sex since he quit 202 3 months ago. Won't even try deep throat and can no longer take a pounding like a champ he used to be. Language barrier is more obvious this time as I took him out for dinner. He loves sushi, but took liberty ordered a lot and wasted more than 1/3 of the food. I think this is the last time I will see him. 
Planning to visit a national park two hours away but didn't find time to book bus ticket last night. Wake up early for that, hotel WiFi is down! And claro signal sucks inside my room. So decided to do that Monday instead. Given that 202 had a party yesterday, not sure Monday there would be any good. Will skip. 
Still planning two Sauna visits: 117 Tuesday and 202 Wednesday before heading home. Is this going to be the first trip where I couldn't find a boy that I want to come back for? 

Arrived last Wed, 202 was very busy, but I can hardly remember the boy I went with now a week later. Right, a slim black boy with large hair and sunny smile. But he was so tight and couldn't bottom well. I was not surprised by this when boys who first say they are tops, then offer to bottom because they really need the money. It usually doesn't end too well. But he was fun in other ways. Once is enough though. 
Bused to Sao Paulo Thursday. Comfortable ride. Free cupped water on board is a nice touch. Long ride though with a half hour / 45 minutes long break in the middle. I assume the advertised schedule doesn't take into account the break, instead of 6 hours, it takes 7 both to and from. Bus is mostly empty both ways. Sao Paulo Station is much more modern and convenient than Rio's, which still charges 3 reals for using the toilet and only connects to tram, not metro as in Sao Paulo. 
The new Lagoa was very happening when I visited Fr, Su and Mo. In Lagoa and 117, sometimes you see college student type white boys. Found one this time in Lagoa. A white Muslim boy who speaks English with a lovely smile! Very much my type. Had a repeat with him. 
Went to 555 on Saturday with a local friend who doesn't like Lagoa because it's too expensive. 555 charges lower entry for clients and offer free food and a bingo that night. Love the spotless huge facilities and tasty snacks for only 25 Reals (2 for 1  bring a friend night, 50 for two, then additional in your group only pays 10 each). But not many clients still, and fewer boys🤔 
Had to uber to 555, which seems to be in a nice neighbourhood but small streets. Unlike Lagoa which is right off busy ave Consolação with loads of buses, Boys should feel safe heading home on bus late at night. Not sure if the boys feel safe to get home from 555 on buses after work. 
Back to Rio on Wed. 202 again was a full house! A couple new slim white twinks very much my type. But both are tops! The 18 yo I like the most is asking 500 for losing his virginity. But he doesn't kiss or rim. His attitude is off putting. His friend is also top only. Pity.
At the end of the night, went with a cheerful slim black boy who is very friendly. Nice time, but again  he can't bottom too good. Once is enough again.

Others with more knowledge about the club pinned the best day as Sunday. If you are comfortable taking buses in Rio, then taking the supervia train would be a piece of cake for your trip going to the club in the afternoon, rio+ card works for the trains too. After dark, uber is the only way back.
For the Sunday afternoon I went to the club, the train was quite full (an earlier scheduled train was cancelled), standing spaces only after a couple stops. thankfully not too packed. I did start from the central station. Also I walked the short distance from the station to the club as it's not fully dark yet outside. Quite deserted with some abandoned buildings along the way. A few photos attached so you have a feel of the road leading to the club and areas right outside the club. Not the safe approach perhaps.
Quite busy for the Sunday I visited. Most people stay in street cloth. There is a sauna room, but a small number of clients and boys actually change to a towel for it. The door receptionist actually ask if you want a towel. You have to ask for a locker if you want one once you get to the main area upstairs. Most hang out at tables set out by the pool area. Some retreat in the disco area which has very dimmed lighting. I found 3 boys quite cute, two of them were quite content playing pool in the disco area for a long long time. For Canadians visiting Brazil, PCR tests are required both for flying into Brazil and back to Canada. It's annoying that you have to add these into your trip plan. The GIG airport PCR testing is very organized and results are available in 4 hours (3 for my experience). Cost is 315 reals. They will help you print a copy as well at the GIG basement level where you do the test. The fee is insignificant comparing to the hassle that you have to plan it and the uncertainty that one might test positive.
    
2. VIP lounges
Very disappointing, GIG VIP lounges are closed to priority club or lounge pass users. only business class travellers.
At Panama city, lounges are all open with reduced food options, much better.
3. Entry forms online before boarding
You need to fill in corresponding government forms before you can board the flight. So if you didn't go through the counter (used web-checkin) and didn't find the form yourself online, make sure you ask staff for the link before boarding time. I had to scramble to fill in the Brazilian form in order to board with just a few minutes to spare before they closed the boarding gate.
4. hotels
other than you are expected to put on a plastic glove when fetching food, not much changed. One hotel I stayed in will do cleaning only on demand, which actually works better for me. Copacabana Hotels are in high demand on weekends. Even though it's cold and rainy for most of the last 2 weeks I was there.
5. 202
Lot of boys. Notably few foreign tourists. None of my favourites from 2019 trips still work there😒. However, did find two new boys I like, which is very good. No change from 2019 even though Real has gone down a lot. 150 in 202 and 200 in 117 for a non Portuguese speaker. They tempted to ask for 200 and 300 respectively, but quickly agree to the old price when I countered.

The trip going there on the train and back on uber are just as  interesting as the time I spent in the club. If you don't speak Portuguese, and sucking straight cock doesn't particularly trigger your fancy, than it's not worth the efforts getting there. I usually go with Claro, which is running a promotion of 30Reals for 30 days with 12GB data. I asked the slim white twink from 202 to activate the sim for me. In return, I saw him twice and bought him Sushi. I usually add credit with cash in one of the Americana stores.

Other than wearing face masks in stores, buses and metro, half the people wear face masks on the beach (pity), it's like covid is not a thing at all. Certainly feels like that in the sauna, almost no boys wear face masks. Sex not any less intimate than pre-covid years.
