I actually have a trip planned for Fortaleza in Juin, but I really can’t deal with heat. I thought POA is much in the south so it’s better to visit during their summer. Am I mistaken?

I find this place clean overall.
Massage quality: The usual (high) quality you get in Thailand, so I was happy with the pressure. The guy touches literally everywhere and was very thorough, so I liked the massage itself.

I paid like 7 dollars for tax. 7k5 worth 120-150 usd according to my calculations though, which is still fine as they are full flex tickets. . With LifeMiles there are flights for 6k, which I calculate worth 70 to 80 usd but they are not flex.

I’m planning my Dec. to Jan. Trip to Brazil and I noticed that the flights are absurdly expensive from 15 Dec. up to mid Jan. Is it just holiday speculation or they are really gonna remain this expensive?

I know it sounds crazy, but I did just book another trip to Brazil December 2023 to January 2024. Among other good deals, I noticeably managed to use merely 45k Alaska airlines miles to book CXJ(Caxias do sul) to GRU in economy, GRU to SCL in business, and SCL to NYC in business on Latam.
I will arrive in San Paulo on 26th of December, and my flight from Caxias do sul starts on 11th of January. The Sandiago de Chile stopover is for five days.
I need to insert one other city between 26/12 and 11/01 I’m thinking about Salvador.
I chose Caxias do sul because it’s close to Porto Alegre. So I’ll need to buy a ticket from CGH to SSA then to POA. From POA to CXJ I’ll take a bus it’s only two hours.
Most domestic flights in late December to January in Brazil are extremely expensive. I think I will burn some of my American Airlines miles. As they are completely refundable, they could be good back up plans.
Any suggestions? Any input is welcome!
I hope five days in Santiago de Chile is enough.

Here is a brief report on Belo Horizonte.
(Upon re-reading the report below I’ve realized how drunk I was while I wrote it on my flight back to Paris. Lol. Anyway, I hope you enjoy:)
I was there for 5 days, stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn. 40k points in total so 8k (about 30 usd) per night, which is a steal. The hotel is in a higher middle class area, 10 minutes walk south of Contorno (ring road), with nice shops and restaurants around. It might not be as commercial as Savassi area, where the Holiday Inn is, but it sufficed for me. By the way, in terms of international hotels, these two are as good as it gets in BH.
The touristic interests of BH is limited. The museums around Liberty Circle are surprisingly well appointed. Some buildings of Niemeyer in the center are worth a glimpse. Ouro Preto is cute but seriously over rated. Any city over 200k inhabitants in Europe would a more decent old town. I was just there for a day trop. One mirante, two churches and three museums took me 5 hours. If not for a last minute hookup, I’d be bored to tears there.
Personally I don’t consider the mineiros the best looking, nor the most hung of all. They are friendly, with mild demeanor and a laidback attitude. This was especially enjoyable in a non-GP sauna. I’ll be in SP during the carnaval this year. I’m seriously debating if I should buy tickets now to the sambodromo parade. I can’t tell which website is the official seller and the prices vary greatly from site to site. Maybe partying from midnight to 7 am is too much for me.

I have been going to Cuba for extended stays up to the pandemic. I have always been happy with boys there. But three disappointing updates:
