For those who are coming to Brazil here is where i go for my Covid PCR test to return to the states. there are a number of places you can go, this place has English speakers and you can phone in for a appointment and have the results emailed to you 4 hours later! easy location to get to in Copacabana!

Actually, mass confusion ... the USA entry requirement does allow for a rapid antigen test, but good luck matching up the product used abroad with the ‘qualifying test’ criteria. There are already 69 antigen tests authorized. The US is also widely criticized by experts for allowing antigen test results, in general less sensitive compared to the NAAT category (nucleic acid amplification) that is delineated as one of the two options ... RT-PCR satisfies the NAAT option.
Antigen tests at point of care are useful in congregate settings in order to quickly assess infection and recovery. Often a RT-PCR test is also used for confirmation, but results turnaround is longer. 
Apologies for earlier dismissing the rapid antigen category for USA specifically, but unless you are a master of test assays, the RT-PCR is the better choice, lest as well the CDC pulls the plug and disqualifies the (rapid) antigen option, in keeping with the global trend. 
Moreover, the CDC has removed the word ‘rapid’ from the antigen test taxonomy because some antigen tests may be done at point of care (ie, rapidly) and others are laboratory based with turnaround more consistent with RT-PCR. The CDC does not specify whether a point-of-care antigen test is inferior or disqualifiable relative to a lab-reviewed antigen test.

Be sure and get the Covid RT-PCR test (not the rapid test), which is the one needed for international travel into the USA. 
Cost is 350 reais for results in 48 hours and 500 reais for results in 24 hours.  Prices seem to change, so use these as a general guide.
Like CR-Diagnosticos in Sao Paulo, you contact them through Whatsapp for information and appointments.
Note that the lab at Santos Dumont does not currently offer the RT-PCR test, just the rapid test which is not valid for travel to the USA, so be aware if considering using that service.
 

another glorious update from Numazu!! Just a question, given how good your photography skills, are in addition to your evocative writing it would be incredible to have at least a tease/taste of some of the BFs and garotos you've been with. I know how important confidentiality is for many of the GPs, but surely some artfully cropped images (like many of our other favorite Brazil posters post) would be ok? Was there some 2-3 yrs ago for a short while. Myself not that much interested in such types, so just general info. Manilla does have (had, no idea about how corona works out there) several gay saunaś and massageplaces, not so much anymore in the sentral/downtown area but in Quezon, which is a separate area but just part of the same mega-city. If there are any sauna;ś that would offer more in commercial offers I dk. I visited a msg place which works much the same as in BKK (which I visit very frequently since many yrs) or Pnom Penh- you select a masseur and once in the cubicle you make an arrangement for ´special extra´ services-which one generally does not in BKK (it just comes naturally there) and which/what/how muth etc. Do not expect (contrary to general description) that all Pinoy guys are fluent in english. I remember i choose from an ´aquarium´ where the guys stand behind a glass screen. If some of these shops specialise in your type of guy I also dk.

Most other postings etc i saw on the other well known fora recommend the usual moderntimes contact sites to make a selection.

@AdamSmith, I appreciate you checking how the interaction may be different between folks of skin tones. This whole thing is way too weird. I don’t entirely believe Jussie, but I don’t entirely believe the police (particularly CPD, which has fabricated evidence in the past). I also just don’t believe the brothers. Who easily could have both accepted money from Smollett for his workouts, and beat him up because they had a dispute and used racism as their cover, and then threw Jussie under the bus. It’s all so weird.

Thank you all for the advice so far! I certainly wouldn’t go to someone else’s place, but had seen other members mentioning brining guys to their place while taking proper precautions. Certainly agree it’s probably best to stick to saunas for first solo trip.
