Great report.

I consider Prince , Hero , Senso an V Club upscale places with prices and ambiance to match but firmly believe we are getting value for money in all of them unless one has bad luck with boy chosen.

For my use I consider Hero service friendlier but more rushed so I second your opinion about perfect tie between the two .

While singing those accolades it needs to be said that  perfect boy and perfect massage can be found in any place so detour to Arena or Adonis would not do any harm likely.

Keep reporting , you made me smiling waiting for my turn patiently, thank you

here is a second hand report from Senso:

took a friend from the US there a week or two ago because he wanted a good massage with good extras. Although I have ever been to Senso myself, I figured that would be a good place to take him (a complete newbie to the whole thing) based not least on reviews from this board. Plus the convenience of it being within less than 2 minute walking distance lol.

Beforehand I gave him the advice I also got from this board to pick the boy  who smiles the most at you. That advice actually is from vinapu if I am not mistaken, so thank you very much for that!

He took this boy, had a very decent massage (he took 90 minutes), though that was cut a but short in favor of beginning the afters - which was not boy's fault but my friend's as he started groping lol. Afters were reportedly fantastic, my friend got fucked long and hard in many many positions and was delighted with that (so the selection tip worked perfectly) and the experience as a whole.

By dropping my friend off at Senso that gave me an opportunity to have a look inside myself for the first time, too. About 7 boys  were there, all nice looking. The one my friend selected was young and quite muscular, but not hunky. There were other less muscular but cute ones who smiled at me but I politely passed and went home

Day 2 - I love walking round the MBK. I wanted to get a pay as you go SIM and thought it would be as good a place as any to find one. Floor 4 is wall to wall mobile accessories so no problems. Lots with silly names, my pick of the day "Lemon Telecom" with "Good Luck Mobiles" a close second. Spent a couple of hours grabbing some T-Shirts, etc and had a great Chilli Chicken Kimchi in the food court.

I left it late deciding what to do. Yesterday's massage and extras were really good and the massage very firm so, unusually for me, I decided I'd like a more twinks masseur and fancied topping for a change of scenery. I headed toward Sukhumvit and down Soi 11 to Banana Club. I've not been here before but the few reviews I've read have been positive and suggested there were usually more twinks than might be found down the road at Hero.

On going inside, I was asked if I knew it was Man on Man massage... That's a first. I chose a 90 minute aroma oil. I was told the pricing was 350b for 1 hour or 800b for 90 mins. I nearly took 2 x 1 hour massages but just went for the 90 minute. As it was he only charged me 650b for the 90 minutes which is pretty good value. I was taken through to the selection room. There were 10 or so boys, the majority tones/muscled rather than what I'd been expecting. I chose one of the 2 twinks, nice defined body but definitely a twink. I took pot luck on whether he was a bottom but was lucky I guess.

Banana Club has a communal changing area and shower. Lockers are provided for security of your things. The masseur joined me in the shower both before and after. He spent little time cleaning my backside so it was a fair bet he was used to bottoming. Up another few flights of stairs to the massage room. Nice enough and clean enough. Some of the older massage places tend to become a little tatty and dirty but Banana Club was fine.

On with the massage and he was trying hard but needs a few lessons in techniques. Not soft but not firm either. He massaged everywhere but was limited in pressure variation and different techniques. I'd really been expecting this so it didn't put a hamper on things. He did massage everywhere so that's a plus point. After about an hour he started to move to the sensual side. I could feel his erection so we moved to stage 2. After some kissing and cuddling I let him control it and he bottomed pretty well. He really had a sweet body and cock. Not big, perhaps 6 inches but with a very sensitive head I learned pretty quickly. Very nice afters and just what I was looking for. After we'd finished, another kiss and cuddle then a shower.

On coming downstairs, spoke with Kelvin who told me they are moving to new premises in December. I will update in the business's section with the address, contact details and directions. Apparently the move is in about 6 weeks to Sukhumvit 23. New premises, somewhat larger that will allow him to expand into traditional and other massages in addition to what they already provide.

It's from me  but I did not invented this rule, actually picked it up from one of the boards, tested and it works like charm / I recall only one exception when smile proved somewhat fake /.

Funny thing , it was actually at Senso last December when I spectacularly broke it and picked up M, the porn star who totally ignored me busy with his phone. But I was hunting for him few times and decided to give it a go.

He turned up to be truly professional not only with massage and afters  but also took pains to complement me and on top of it we had very pleasant conversation in meantime, definitely one of best massage encounters ever.

Is good to follow rules but sometimes we should give a chance to gut feeling too.

There were mixed reviews from Senso over years but I must say for me always worked as charm.

I'm glad to hear forky had good time at Banana, another underrated place which never fails to deliver for me.

Day 3 - A bit of a change of pace today as I wanted to have a wander around Asiatique this evening. Spent the morning repeatedly getting myself lost in Chinatown, quite successfully I might add. Stupidly flagged down a Tuk-Tuk to take me to the river boat. I deliberately didn't get one near the hotel and flagged one down but he still spent the journey telling me he could find me leather, perfume, etc shops. At one point he stopped and tried to tell me I was too early for river boats and he could sell me a 2 hour canal tour that would get there just as it opened. He only started driving again when I started to get out to walk.

Decided on an early massage on my way to the free shuttle to Asiatique. As Silom Complex is on the way to Chon Nonsi from the hotel I decided to visit Arena. Prince put up a strong fight for a second visit but the convenience of Arena being directly on the way won out. Arena is now on the 3rd rather than 2nd floor. Not been there for a massage before as the first time I went, last trip, they were closed by 2100 and I missed them. No such problems this time. A selection of about 15 boys, mostly toned or muscly. I chose 1.5 hour aroma oil which was 790b and a minimum tip of 1200b. Chose a very toned lad, mid 20's, and we headed upstairs.

The new location is clean and tidy, though very functional. Nothing in the way of soft furnishings in the rooms but they have massage tables rather than beds and a nice sized shower cubicle in the room. The masseur left me to take a shower while he sorted everything out.

The massage was very different from nearly all I've had in Thailand. Very sensual/erotic in nature rather than any form of traditional massage. He was very good at the techniques, knew when to vary pressure and his massage flowed nicely. Not for lovers of a really firm massage but, to be honest, I like to simply go with the flow and experience what the masseur can do rather than interrupting and asking him to change technique or pressure. He often would use very light touch to arouse and would come back to the various erotic points on the body to add to the stimulation. In no way did he try to rush anything. At first when he started more intimate massaging, I thought he was one of those that moved on to part two as quickly as possible. That was definitely not the case.

The afters were not really afters. They kind of happened in the middle. It was pretty obvious he was straight but that really didn't detract from the experience. After we had both blown nice loads I assumed that the massage was over. Instead he wiped us both down and then started massaging the front. No rush at all and if anything we went slightly over our 90 minutes. Overall, a really nice, though a bit unusual massage for Bangkok. Much more what I'd expect in Manchester or NYC.

Overall good impressions of Arena and certainly a fair option for those who find Prince/Hero/Senso on the expensive side.

great report, very interesting, thank you. I like both a really firm massage AND going with the flow like you described. For the firm massage, I usually go to The Prime, where I have my own favorite masseur now, whom I have pre-booked over the phone several times already. The go-with-the-flow might just happen anywhere, which means any of the "normal" massage shops where a HE may or may not happen (more often than not it does lol, except maybe at Prime) . For a combination of the firm and super-sensual  I go to my favorite masseur at The Spa Bangkok, also in Silom Plaza (first floor in far right corner), where Arena is (it is Silom Plaza, not Silom Complex). Spa Bangkok is quite upscale and technically members-only, but 5 day memberships are available for tourists. www.spabangkok.net if anyone is interested. Maybe could try Arena for a change, now...?

Thanks for the post.   Sound's like you're having a good time.

For anyone interested, staying in Kachanaburi & then taking a bus out to the Earawan waterfalls is something I would also recommend.    Here's just 1 small section of the complex:

Adonis is my 2nd favorite place. (Hero #1). I have had great times there, but stairs are not my best friend. I always ask, are we going all the way up? Usually they say yes, with a smile. I swear you could arrive in a wheel chair and they would tell you room on top floor.

But the boys are worth it. Probably hit it up tomorrow, although Hero may win out.

Day 4 - Long tour today out to Kanchanaburi (Bridge Over River Kwai and Death Railway). Left at 0630 and got back around 1800. Well worth the time spent though.

I do like Adonis.

how did you go? by yourself of you took a tour? if yes , how much and from what office.

Thinking about going there next time in BKK

I like Adonis too, have soft spot for it as my longest off was from there

It was an organised tour. I have no doubt you could organise it yourself though some of the specifics and timings might be awkward. I booked through BA so used points but you the same tour on Expedia is £38 but fluctuates with the baht. Both companies use Tour East Thailand. In high season I think they use a large air conditioned coach. Yesterday there were only 6 of us so they used a small minibus. There is a lot of travelling and it's an early start.

The itinerary included:

- Coach/Minibus to Kanchanaburi

- Visit to Kanchanaburi War Cemetary

- Visit to Jeath WW2 Museum

- Long Tail Boat ride down river to the Bridge on the River Kwai.

- Visit the Bridge, walk across, photo stop, sightseeing.

- Coach ride to cafe near train station. Close to old British and Aussie PoW camps

- Lunch at Cafe (pay for drinks). Set menu and no Chicken with Cashew Nuts

Day 5 - How do you say "Get the fuck off my cock, you're seriously hurting me" in Thai?

It started out as a day to chill. Transfer day tomorrow to Pattaya so wanted to do some shopping. Called in at Central Chidlom but I'm not sure what it is about the place, probably the western prices, I really don't like it. Headed to MBK and started exploring. Always something new to see.

Late afternoon was trying to decide between a first visit to Senso or a 2nd visit to Prince. Walked via Saladaeng but ended up walking past Senso. I'm not sure what it is but I just don't find the place inviting from the outside. Decided on Prince so carried on.

In Prince, seemed busy from the shoes outside but still 20 or more boys to choose from. Didn't see my guy from the first night so chose a younger lad smiling broadly at me. Just as he stepped out, I spotted my guy from the first night. He'd been on his mobile I think, he smiled and his eyes lit up, then he realised he'd missed out. Oh well, turns out I had too.

The lad I'd chosen was quite small, toned but thin. His massage though was really, really strong. For the most part very good too. Although he used a lot of pressure and a lot of different techniques, he generally tempered his strength in the right places and so it was mostly a superb massage. Do Prince do any training with their staff? It seems so as the techniques and rotations through the massage were very similar to the guy the first night.

Once we got to the afters, nothing was similar to the first night. Where the guy then had been very good, this one was about getting me to cum as quickly as he could. He was so violent in his HJ that I was in pain and fast losing any thought of a happy ending. Any ending that didn't end with me in hospital with a torn dick was likely to be a bonus. I protested with pain and he briefly changed hands and went at with the other hand. I ended up stopping him as I thought he had split the skin, it was really sore.

He didn't even seem surprised to get the minimum tip. There was certainly no complaint. So, one good experience and now one bad one for prince. I still think they have a really nice set up there and, if you're staying in Silom/Surawong/Sathorn area it's more convenient than getting to Hero. I'll just put it down to getting a bad guy and leave it there. Though I definitely need to know how to say "Get the fuck off my cock, you're seriously hurting me" in Thai?

A plus for both Hero and Prince is that they are both on one level for anyone that doesn't deal well with stairs.

You got me interested in River Kwai trip, thank you.

Sorry to hear about your Prince tribulation with clumsy boy but at least his massage was good. It's fairly easy to tell boy to stop whatever he is doing unless he was so horny or overzealous he did not pay attention. This may happen everywhere so don't hold it against Prince.

Only room on ground level at HERO I was in are VIP rooms . I think they have two of them. Do they have standard room on ground level? I always was climbing some stairs unless taking boy to VIP room. But thanks God, I don't have stairs problem yet and usually climb them even if elevator is available to the boy's horror

I've always gone for a VIP room at Hero as, if I'm making the journey there, I usually go for a scrub and massage. I guess the option is there if you don't like stairs. At prince there are many standard rooms on ground level. I'm not sure about the VIP and deluxe rooms, as I haven't tried them yet.

I like to treat myself to the VIP room if available for one of my first massages after arrival in LOS. Not that I see much value in the room itself , after all I'm for the boy not flat screen TV but it's nice to splurge from time to time.

Another bonus is that VIP room are usually offered for longer treatments so by definition boys are less inclined to rush things up which I hate.

So yes, 2 hr treatment in the VIP room at HERO is a treat from us to ourselves

Day 8 - Transition day to Pattaya on Saturday and settling in to the hotel. Sunday I had a thumping headache most of the day. Went out evening but just walking anywhere near the bars with their music blaring set it off again so just chilled. Tonight I started off in Jomtien Complex which seemed pretty dead. I may have been a bit early but not much going on there so headed into Pattaya.

On the way decided I'd head to Narcissus for a massage. Not been there before but read a couple of good reports so headed in. About 8 boys on duty, one a sweet lad with a nice figure, not overly toned or muscly. Picked him out for a 90 minute oil massage.

Headed upstairs. Not the nicest looking massage place by a long chalk. The rooms kind of reminded me of the Bangkok room in the film the Beach. Clean enough, just. The showers are separate but the rooms lock so your kit is as safe as anywhere with a lightweight lock and where the management have spare keys

I was impressed with the masseur and the massage. Also, his English was about as good as any masseur I've had in Thailand. He said it was only high school level but to me it was reasonably good and very understandable. He's only been in Pattaya for two weeks having been in Bangkok training in various forms of massage. It showed in his technique. I very much enjoyed both the massage and the afters where he topped in multiple positions. Variety is the spice of life after all.

I was asking how business was and things are very slow at the moment. People keep saying how it should be picking up but I really don't think it's doing so quickly. There do seem to be a lot of Russians in town. Every baht-bus I've been on has been at least half Russian.
