    I stay in Venue on few occasions. I liked rooms but those facing complex can be noisy indeed. Once it was so noisy that I got upset and went down to bar to have a drink. Waiter who brought it asked concerned ' are you sleeping alone tonight? " to which I answered ' no, with you ", soon we were back in the room and somehow noise did not bother me that much anymore

    +1 indeed one may even get " a look" if it's not bringing any guests and they may think he is spy or something For those really concerned about discretion Raya is unbeatable. Reception is on 5th floor an if your room is on other floor nobody ever will see you nor your guest. Even if it's on 5th floor you can always go with your gust to floor 4 and then climb the stairs in the back 1 floor up. This is what I did on my recent trip I just returned from

    looks far on map but in reality if you use BTS you can be at Saphan Kwai station in 20-25 mins from SalaDaeng which is less than walk to Prince

    looks that era of trouble free travel on short notice we enjoyed in last 30-40 years is coming to an end. Yes , it may be factor in selecting destinations. I personally know people who would not travel to any country requiring visa just as matter of principle.

    no, I travel very light and have habit of doing my laundry by hand as soon as I enter room., Even better recently I discovered super fast drying shirt, week later bought even second, with the same design unfortunately so next trip I may make an impression I'm wearing the same shirt for 3 weeks on, lol

    on my trip just finished I discovered new ( for me ) hotel Silom Convent Garden in soi Phipat, right next door to Sauna Mania . Super good deal with 35$ for small apartment with washing machine inside and no problem with visitors . Only handicap was no safety box in the room. Will post pictures when put myself together after returning home

    Last Sunday I did as promised and I have good news for Hero lovers and misses. It all at Prince as it was before at Hero. 2 dozen of hunks behind glass wall flexing and trying to bring attention to themselves. It comes at cost though. 1.5 hr course if I recall is 1300 and min tip 2000. Not sure though a I'm in transit and my notes are in checked luggage. Definitely place to go for those who are into muscles. Guy I had massage with told me that 95 % of clients are Chinese. It must be as original figure he used was 90 and he upped it to 95 immediately.
