Someone posted a long list of fishing farms around Bangkok and Pattaya with pictures, on this forum, some months ago.

Well, they just advertise as a bar, so don't go there and expect a brothel. Although with a bit of experience it should be not problem to the one or other boy to go with you. Similar for staff in massage places, you cannot expect them to deliver sexual services, although most will do if you approach this subject the right way. I had the same situation in 2014 (?) in Bangkok (Soi Twilight, Scorpion Bar). I found the boy of my dreams and asked about off-fee: the boy does not go with customers. His English was too poor to talk with him, so I asked two more staff: the boy does not go with customer. That did quite upset me at that time, never had this before, and it still is the only time, that I did not get the boy I wanted in a brothel (you could say that Scorpion just sells drinks, but the entire Soi is a brothel and I have not heard of boys working there not going with customers). I don't understand it either (people going to bars to drink; I can drink water, in my room, for free, no waste of time and money), but there are plenty of people who indeed go to a bar just to drink (whereas I go to look for someone to take home).

Not every boy in host bars is offable. Scorpion bar in Soi Twilight (mainly Vietnamese) has a particular bad reputation (or is it just my own particular bad memory from around 2014 when I found the boy of my dreams there, to find out that he doesn't go with customers?). (In gogo bars, I always got the boy I wanted.)

I communicate either in proper English or in Thai. Sometimes I correct my Thai friends, but usually I learn to understand their idiosyncratic use of English and leave it at that.

I have no problem being the only customer in a bar, and can deal with mamasan. But at only 6 boys on stage, I would have made an excuse and left (unless there is a stunner). I have seen long fingernail on pinkie, but not on two fingers of one hand. Long fingernail is a turn-off for me. It might be a statement of being hi-so, not having to do manual work because that would be impossible such long fingernails. "But once the boy is there, and you both have a drink in front of you, what do you watch?" I do all the watching before I invite a boy. When I invite a boy, it's for a touch and a minute of small talk, and then I off him and we are out, often even without buying a drink for the boy. That is 350 for soft drink and 600 off fee in Classic, makes 950 (without boy drink and before tipping the boy). Online you can get a boy for 1000 to come to your room (and indeed that's what I have been doing this year).

The situation is asymmetric. For a Thai, it is much more beneficial to learn English than it is for a Farang to learn Thai. The Thai can use English all over the year (and all over the world if he can travel) with other Farang in Thailand, the Farang can use Thai only when he is in Thailand for holiday. Assuming the Thai has a job, it will be difficult to find time to attend classes after work and commuting (that can be solved by the Farang paying the Thai a monthly amount so he can spend all his time learning English). But it's already a poor start if the boy's English is poor. Those who are talented and committed can achieve a good level of English from going to school (multiple personal experience, in a group of boys who might have the same teacher, level reaches from some words to fluent small talk). One would have to consider different learning patterns as well. I can learn better in a classroom than online, reading/writing is easier for me than listening/speaking, and I like grammar. For the OP, I suggest try it but don't expect too much. And make sure you know where your money goes (to the school, without a way to for the boy to get a refund).

MHK? Do you mean MBK Maboonkrong shopping center?

Found a note (passed there - Silom Plaza and Arena - to view test of Mahanakorn light show): "28.8.2016 Sun 19:32 The Best Massage many boys eating outside" (ground level of Silom Plaza, right side when coming from Silom)

Thaivisa? Just checked, there is a member beachlover without post, a beachlover1 without posts, and thaibeachlovers with many posts, but "While I have only been married 5 years..." does not fit the beachlover on the gay forums. http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/942640-the-whiners-and-the-silent-majority/?page=5#comment-11153357

As far as I remember, beachlover just disappeared. Some pointed out inconsistencies in his tales, but no proof of him lying. Did I miss something?

Gay Companions and Tour Guides in Thailand
ChristianPFC replied to TotallyOz's topic in Gay Thailand
This year passenger train service between PP and Sihanoukville was introduced (only Fri-Sat-Sun) after many years without passenger trains in Cambodia. There is railway connection from PP to Poipet and over to Aranyaprathet, but only freight or not trains at all. -
If you have to invite many boys in a bar, then buying a bottle is cheaper than individual drinks, I have heard. But that's not my style. I'm just looking for someone to take home. I admit I'm a bore and watch my money in bars, but I appreciate when others start sleaze or engage the boys like in opening an bottle. If you really want to save money, avoid the bars altogether and find people who will hang out with you without the need to buy them drinks and to tip them. But that requires a lot of time and speaking Thai, so for the tourists the bars are the best way to go. Pattaya, not Bangkok! For money saving tips, see my recent article: http://christianpfc.blogspot.de/2016/09/money-saving-tips-collected.html

I found Lumpini park has a particular low density of cute boys. Will check again between sunset and closing to see if I spot anything interesting (I never did before).

Yes I went again on Mon 29.08.2016. Got wet in rain first and then had to wait one hour.

I had some boys like described in the op. I tell them to move over into their half of the bed.

I played camfrog extensively in 2012 when I was living near Paris, to get in contact with Thai boys. Made some good contacts at that time, and am still friends with some of them. But afterwards, the quality went down. The few occasions I looked at camfrog this year and last year, general problem is only few people show their face (statistics somewhere on my blog), which I don't like. With paid version you can open many cams, then it might be worth playing, but with free version, waiting 10 seconds for a video to open, and then noting of interest, is disappointing. Didn't know it's available as app now.

Boys have no secrets anymore for their family?
ChristianPFC replied to abidismaili's topic in Gay Thailand
I sent my parents a link to my blog long ago, but when my mother opened it there was a OMG post and she didn't like it, so I think she never looked again. Maybe better so, than stumbling upon "gay activties of the month" post. -
Porn cinemas too dark, too dirty, customers too old. Details see my blog. Shopping mall cruising - I spend very little time in shopping malls, but when do I see some cute boys, but no cruising. Saunas - there are some that have plenty of customers in the 20 to 30 age range, my current favorites are Farose 2, Phoenix, Macho.

Rob means take with force, which was not the case. But how do you say "became a victim of a theft" in one verb? I have been thiefed? I have been stolen from? -
I have him on gayromeo: OLEO-69 last online Feb 28th, 2016 (so probably abandoned that profile).

Reasonable prices, good location (walking to Sunee or Boyztown or van from/to Bangkok from opposite Tuk Com), quite spacious rooms with everything I need. -
1) What do you think where the disabled beggars come from? 2) What do you think where the old age beggars come from? 3) Think out of the gay bubble. As far as I know, unless you are stupid AND lazy, everyone can get a job in Thailand. And even if you are stupid AND lazy, you can move from one job to the next (until you are fired once your employer finds out you are stupid AND lazy). There is a network of family and friends to support those who are unable to work or have no job. I recently got numbers from a friend, 1/3 of his income goes to support his mother, similar to what we pay in social insurances in the west.

I don't think you have good view from Lumpini park. Many other tall buildings in between. I want to get just a few 100 m away, but without anything obstructing the view (at least I would like to see it from bottom to top). Preferably at an elevated position so I don't have to look up in the sky. Beside Cloud47, Lebua would be a great spot.

Ting Tong may not have a reception, but on ground level is bar, so you have to walk past customers and owner/manager and staff. Baan Dok Mai (now my favorite place to stay in Pattaya) reception is manned only during daytime. Customers get key for door to road, it's locked at night.
