Saturday of weekend in Bangkok was spent entirely all in Silom.

Breakfast at Foodland Patpong. 84 baht American breakfast.

Massage at 10am at Paradise Massage in Soi 6 with horny gay Chiang Mai guy.

Lunch with two forum members at Foodland Patpong.

After that we went our separate adventures.

I had a bar waiter from Hotmale Beer Bar downstairs now renamed Midnight come over to Hotel Croome for afternoon fun.

Then at 7pm, dinner at G with four other forum members including our distinguished VIP who arrived 10 minutes late and missed 10 minutes of gawking at slim handsome Banana Bar promoter facing our strategic balcony seating.

5 of us had a great time exchanging information and catching up as well (I haven't met distinguished VIP in person the whole of last year 2024!)

Lots of hugs with Guido when we left G and also discretely tipping the Banana Bar waiters and promoters before we went to Patpong 2 to visit the bars.

Under new management, the staff at Midnight Bar (formerly known as Hot Male Beer Bar) appears to have settled on new attire for bar staff of white shirts. Under the predominant blue lighting, they do indeed stand out.

Freshboy, which for a long time utilized a few waiters to act as barkers, now has 2-3 dedicated staff in red polo shirts on the soi, doing the job. And they must be effective because the house was packed Saturday night for the shows. Even some of the benches boys use when not on stage were occupied by customers.

A non member tells me that he went to Atlas Bar Friday. Show started at 10:50 with total of 16 customers. He didn’t see any twinks  and there was no f show. Saw one guy get offed. A member reports that a bodybuilding competition scheduled for next month has been postponed.

My lodging was nowhere as nice as your beautiful stay at the Marriott.  

I instead stayed at the Friends Gay Guesthouse and it was quaint and a lot of fun - foam party on the roof for New Year's Eve.

You will love Danang and the area. I started a 10 day trip 5 years ago just as the airlines were stopping flights due to covid. Hoi An just 30 minutes away is a glorious little town, with lanterns lit up everywhere in the evenings.

There is also at the west end a 15th century Japanese bridge

In the centre of this area is the large city of Danang with its fabulously long beaches

A little further north there is the old Imperial capital of Hue. The French destroyed much of it, espeically the imperial palace,  but it is slowly being restored. This was the scene of a lot of fighting during the Vietnam War.

Sorry we have moved somewhat away from Patpong! Not much gay life in the cities but my app started buzzing even before I was out of arrival at Danang airport.

Re Phu Cuoc I was not there to hook up. I had  been in Ho Chi Minh City just beforehand and did meet a couple of guys there. Both were from the apps. Sadly neither were more than average.
