as I just commented in another thread, there's no such thing as good or bad food as tastes vary from person to person

I have no idea how accurate this is, but when I was in Bangkok this past Feb/Mar/Apr and went to Sarica someone told me that Happy Beer Garden was owned by the same people.  Perhaps Sarica employees will be able to help out at Happy Beer Garden if that is true.

Tommy from Happy Beer Garden also owns Off Key which is a very fun bar with cute guys.  If you order food at Off Key, it is cooked and delivered by Happy Beer Garden.  Off Key stays open very late

I've had numerous meals at Sarica and thought it good but for me I prefer The Happy Beer Garden, a much better atmosphere there.

As the esteemed @vinapu has said numerous times...tastes vary from person to person.

I thought the food was just ok at Happy Beer Garden and didn't care for the environment.  I preferred Sarica for both quality of food and environment.  We each have different tastes, both in food and in the atmosphere we like.  That's what makes the world so interesting.  Would be a very boring place if we all liked the same things.

Yes it is on Patpong 2 upstairs near Hot Male.  It has a big sign you can see from street level.  Whilst it has karaoke, you can also go in just for a drink

Agree - Sarica has no atmosphere.  Happy Beer Garden is much better albeit not as good as it used to be when on the other side of the street in front of Montien where the building housing the Burger King is now located. I recall a Tuktuk was incorporated into the design in those days and the restaurant spilled out onto the pavement and was indeed a Happy Beer Garden

Looks much better and tastier than "Fried children" , restaurant in Gorakphur, India once had on the menu
