June 6Jun 6 Has anyone stayed there and have comments? Is it ok about joiners? I usually stay in 56 Surawong or Raya but fancy a change.
June 6Jun 6 I had not heard of this hotel so had to look it up on google maps and it only opened quite recently and is well-located. Looks kinda nice!

June 10Jun 10 Currently, rooms start around 60 €/night at Aiden on Agosa, so not that expensive actually.

July 12Jul 12 Popular Post Stayed at the Aiden Surawong recently. It's a newly opened boutique style hotel and part of Best Western Hotel Group. Rooms are very modern and stylish. Pool area is quite nice although it lacked a shaded area. Didn't use the gym. Breakfast was quite nice with several options you order from a menu. Front desk is on a high floor with guest rooms being on lower floors. As such it is no problem to bring joiners as you won't need to pass by front desk. Apparently the building housed a gemstone factory before being converted to the current hotel. As such the layout of the room I stayed was somewhat unusual with an open bathroom. Well, there was a curtain for some privacy at least. Overall I liked the stay and thought it was good value.

Agree , 60 for such location would be kind of bordering on reasonable

July 13Jul 13 The rate was around USD 70 (incl. breakfast) for my stay last month. At current the rates are more like USD 80 plus and this excludes breakfast, which I often skip anyway. Probably there was some introductory pricing as others suggested. I noticed the same at the new Voco hotel nearby which increased its rates quite a bit over the last months. Luckily there are lots of hotel choices near Silom/Sathorn so we can vote with our feet.
July 14Jul 14 These rates for the Aiden Hotel are only for an opening promotion which closes on July 31. The cheapest rate at present is Bt. 2,843 (US$85). But then it jumps dramatically for the high season. Mid-November rate on agoda is US$165. This then jumps to $440 for mid-February. But it comes down to $220 in May.

I wish them luck, long live market economy !
July 15Jul 15 Active Members Maybe after the high season is over, they can use some of that $440 per night profit to install a proper bathroom wall and door to replace the current balcony curtain.
July 15Jul 15 Apologies. That rate of $440 was a result of the date I selected being 10 days after the lunar New Year. By the end of February is has reduced to $230.
August 9Aug 9 Author Thank you everyone for the comments. I may give it a try next time. Hotel prices look low at the moment. The cheapest double room is about $86 at the end of September.
