In the photo below a still of a video on YouTube which shows Boyztown in 1999 If I compare this with the current buildings most current buildings don't appear to be there. Look at the building where now Boyz Boyz Boyz is and the Ambiance hotel, these appear to be different buildings now. Also at the front far left side you see a brown/black building but I don't recognize its shape at all (compare for example with Google street view). Also if you look good the building where now Panorama bar is, looked totally different and there is a big building at the far end (we only see its top floor) that isn't there anymore at all. When I visited Thailand 15 to 20 years ago, it was rare to see a guy who was heavily tattooed, if at all, and tacky looking blond dyed hair. Now these guys are the norm instead of the exception. What happened? No matter how hard you try, dying black hair blond looks tacky and never truly blond. Oh well, style constantly changes and life goes on. 😊

I am for my once a year trip in Thailand (I used to go three times a year, but other Asian countries are also nice to visit) Has everyone else ever walked from the gay area in Jomtien to Boyztown? I did it and it takes about an hour at slow pace (fast pace is not doable in the heat). I am often bored during morning and early afternoon so I thought let’s kill the time and do this walk. And during the walk I was wondering if I was maybe the first person ever in the history of Pattaya sex tourism who has walked from Jomtien to Boyztown. Any forum member has ever done this walk also?

Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin will inaugurate the “LOVE PRIDE PARADE 2024” and join the longest grand parade in Asia at 6 kilometers, to conclude Pride Month. The parade will march from the National Stadium along Rama 1 Road, passing Pathumwan, Siam, Ratchaprasong, Phloen Chit, Asoke, and Sukhumvit, ending at Benchasiri Park in Bangkok from 4 PM to 6:30 PM. Over 1,000,000 spectators are expected along the route. Chai stated that the Thai government, alongside more than 100 leading private sector organizations, is organizing the LOVE PRIDE PARADE 2024 to celebrate the conclusion of Pride Month, the month of pride for the LGBTQIAN+ community.

On my first visit, I only remember tv channels in Thai. I have seen on several movie theater websites there are movies shown in English. Does anyone know of any English tv channels available? You know, for those resting up times before hitting the go-go bars. Thanks.

Tittle is misleading but was given to this trip by our member bkkmfj who accompanied me to Bangkok during this short, 2 days in Pattaya and 6 in Bangkok trip to Thailand last month. I think only terrorizing part were 3 hotel changes three days in row but I booked those before he decided to join in and to sweeten whole thing , all were walking distance from each other. Day 1 This time I arrived by KLM from Amsterdam and arrival time was great , at 9.30 in the morning. There was no line up to immigration at all, I just walked in to get stamped and had even option of choosing one of three officers. No waiting for luggage as I was with carry on only. Buying…

Will be in Bangkok for 2 weeks starting on Sunday. Thailand being the 3rd leg of my journey through Asia. Not super into the club scene but do like bar/lounges, massages, and callboys. Coming from Vietnam when Grindr is king for finding some fun, and massage places are few and far between. Looking for advice on where to go for twink boys (young but of course legal). Best massage spots, bar recommendations, and preferred tip amounts. For reference I am a top and will be staying at The Quarter Silom by UHG for my first week. I just came back from a two-week trip to Bangkok. I visited all the bars at night. I also discovered some interesting places to go to. I won't be writing a chronological and detailed trip report as I have to get back to work after holiday. Sorry! This will just be a summary broken up into parts.

What really are the predictors of a nice time? We've all, I'm sure, had a quota of duds, and also our quota of surprising successes when expectations were low. I'd appreciate your comments on this. Hey everyone. Visiting Bangkok for the first time for a work trip in late October. Will be staying in Siam area for work - maybe Mercure Bangkok Siam. Will then stay on for 3-4 days of personal pleasure - planning to hit up some of the bars and massage places. As I don't know Bangkok at all, was wondering people's thoughts about whether it was better/easier/more convenient just to stay put in same hotel or better to move closer to the action?
