Last week had four days in Bangkok - stayed at Tarntawan - deluxe room was okay but myself being older getting in and out of the tub/shower needed caution - no useful rails. I ventured for old.time sake to Super A on the first night for an hour. About 8 lads there all wearing white shirts. Looked like reasonably new settees along the wall with several tables. Hello all! I just got back from Tokyo a while ago and I’m already planning my next trip and was think Bangkok. Gay massage in Tokyo was pretty different from the USA,at least places I’ve been, the guy undressed with you and washed you in a shower before and after. Hi all, I made my first visit to Bangkok in February for 10 nights and it was fantastic, I am heading back in November for 15 nights. I am now looking for 2025 and as I still work in the UK only have 3 1/2 weeks holiday to take, I prefer November to February so the bank holidays dont help. My question is it better to do two maybe three shorter trips of say seven nights, taking into account the extra air fair, of to go the whole and stay for the 3 1/2 weeks in on go, probably February knowing it will be another 12 months before I can visit again. thoughts and comments appreciated. Hope this is a sensible topic for the forumn.

Well I’m back. After making my first trip to Bangkok in November 2022, I am going back in July. I’ve booked the Raya again. This will be a relaxing break for me. I plan to spend afternoons getting massages and hit the shows/bars at night. I think I can handle the BTS, this time I may try the MRT. I want to revisit the Grand Palace, and this time I want to take one of the fast boats on the river. I may hire a guide from Siam again as that was fun and informative last time. I’d also like to try some different places for dinner. Any recommendations? Can’t wait!

Halfway through a massage at Relax in Silom 8, the masseur stops everything (I hate when they do that) and starts negotiating (which I really hate) and says it will be 500 baht extra tip for him to come.
