Last time I went to Pattaya /thailand during Xmas was December 2016. It was high season and all I remember was crowds everywhere. I am often very confused by Google maps and how people refer to streets on Line or on this forum. How do streets in Bangkok work? I'll take one example: another thread here talks about Home Massage on intramara(sic) 29. When I search on google, I only find Inthamara (with an h) 29 and it must be right because it is just in the right area according to the rest of the post. Are h and r equivalent transliterations for a Thai sound? If I remember correctly, the first several times I came to Bangkok, the closing time along Silom Soi 4 and Soi 2 was 4 a.m. It used to feel so wonderful moving from a dark nightclub somewhere in the vicinity to an outside table next to a still-open bar on Soi 4, and let the rays of a warm morning sun penetrate and punctuate an intoxicating night out on the town. One of the good things that I found that come out of Covid was the number of hospitals and doctors in Bangkok doing telemedicine. There are some times you need something but don't need to go to the hospital. This happened to me recently and I was able to phone into the hospital and get the information I needed as well as prescriptions delivered to me within 3 hours. It made it really nice.
