Since I am still fairly new here in Thailand as a recent retiree - I would like to share with you my first Thailand New Year's Eve period to get your feedback. Part ONE - New House Blessing On 29 December and 30 December - a gay couple (Thai + Lao) that I know bought a new flat in the Life City Park over in Bo Win in Rayong. Just in on BBC: the eldest daughter of the Thai king, Princess Bajrakitiyabha, apparently collapsed and has been rushed to hospital. Few details so far, but the BBC correspondent points out the unusual statement describing her to be "stable to a certain extent". Some mention in the report about possible impact on succession, though obviously this is rather premature and speculative.

I saw this new establishment's twitter page. They seemed to focus on the actual "massage" skills. The location is a bit further out from the center. Their selection of masseurs looks pretty okay. If anyone had a chance to try it before, please share your experience?

An acquaintance -fairly new to Bangkok- has asked me for advice re gay drinking places: bars, pubs etc. He has been to Soi 4 and he has a appetite for plenty of booze so he finds the go go bars expensive.
