Sad as it is to learn for those of us who have made the pilgrimage to the grave of Greyfriars Bobby in Edinburgh, Scotland, the legend of his maintaining a vigil at the grave of his deceased owner for 14 years is poppycock. Apparently the story was made up to encourage pilgrims to his grave to visit the hostelry next to the graveyard. Yet the legend lasted some 150 years until now debunked by a Swedish historian, who says the dog did not stick it out through hail, snow, and frost. The historian claims that the story was made up by a pair of men interested in financial gain. They used a stray dog, trained him to stay near the cemetery, and replaced him when he died. This…

U.S. to sue big banks over mortgage securities: report WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The agency that oversees mortgage markets is preparing to file suit against more than a dozen big banks, accusing them of misrepresenting the quality of mortgages they packaged and sold during the housing bubble, The New York Times reported on Thursday. The Federal Housing Finance Agency, which oversees mortgage giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, is expected to file suit against Bank of America, JPMorgan Chase, Goldman Sachs and Deutsche Bank, among other banks, the Times reported, citing three unidentified individuals briefed on the matter. The suits stem from subpoenas the finance agency …

Lucky asked in another thread how a bottom can be bi. It's simple: 1. With guys I like big strong aggressive guys who are all man. If they were willing to take it up the ass from me or suck my cock it would blow my illusion of them as "more masculine than I am" which is what appeals to me about gay sex - submitting to a stronger male. 2. With girls I don't like them strong or muscular. In the same way that if I'm going to be with a man I want him to be all man, if I'm going to be with a girl I want her to be feminine and submissive and all girl. Otherwise, what's the point? And the idea of a girl with a strap on is visually ridiculous to me - so I'd rather just fuck …

At last, some ‘good’ health news. We have known for some time that a glass or two of red wine is good for our health. Now a new study by scientists at Cambridge University has reported that – wait for it! – eating chocolate can also be good for health! As one of the world’s confirmed chocoholics, I am delirious! As the BBC website’s says this morning – .http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-14679497 That does not mean that we should all go out and become binge chocolate eaters, for that can clearly lead to the onset of other illnesses. Nor that those who presently do not eat chocolate should add it to their diets. The British Heart Foundation even says there are bett…

I love Glen Close and Damages and they have gotten some great characters over the years like Martin Short, Ted Danson, etc. This season, John Goodman seems to be one of the core characters. I loved him in the first season of Treme and wish he was still there. I was surprised when I watched Damages last night and John Goodman was there! Welcome back to a great show John! We missed you!

According to Irish Central (a reliable source of Irish news and history) the early Christians in Ireland routinely held gay male marriage ceremonies. They even had specific rites for them. Pretty cool, huh? http://www.irishcentral.com/roots/Bad-romance-10-surprising-facts-about-the-Irish-and-sex-128767353.html

Parking meters have been around for . . . seemingly a very long time. Prostitutes have been around for . . . well, a whole lot longer. And the connection? The City of Bonn, known by some as the former capital of West Germany and by a few as the birthplace of Ludwig van Beethoven, has just installed on its streets . . . prostitute meters! No, I kid you not! And they look just like parking meters! The city has been taxing prostitutes working in brothels for some time, but this is thought to be the first streetwalkers

Elmhurst College put a question on its admissions application that won’t appear on any other school's application. "Would you consider yourself to be a member of the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered) community?” That optional question makes Elmhurst the first school in the country to ask applicants about their sexual orientation or gender identity, the Chicago Sun-Times reports. Full Article So, would you answer that question on a college application? Is it really any of their business?

1. Woman decides to try online dating. 2. Woman meets dude online who is sociable, good looking and rich. 3. Woman goes on a date with said dude and he is friendly and nice. 4. Dude mentions that he likes to play Magic: The Gathering 5. Woman decides not to date him again because she doesn't date "nerds." 6. Woman then writes an entire article about how she can't believe she accidentally went on a date with a nerd - and calls him a loser and names him in the article. Do I need to mention that not only is the guy hot - but he also just won $3.5 million in the World Series Of Poker? Bitches be crazy, yo! http://gizmodo.com/5833787/my-brief-okcupid-affair-with-a-…

Hitoallusa brought up an interesting point in another thread. He finds the entire idea of sex with a woman to be "weird" and could never go through with it. I know a lot of guys feel that way. I also know that I have several friends who identify as gay, but who also fuck girls every so often if the situation is right or they are bored or if they haven't gotten cock lately. They are not bisexual, because they vastly prefer sex with dudes, but just find that girls can get them off in the right context. Yet, I also have other friends who are completely horrified at the idea of dealing with pussy in any way shape or form. So, I'm curious about the guys here - is pussy a take…

I like the guy in the video. So cute. Anyways, it's amazing how things get updated and become more innovative. As long as the US can keep spawning companies like Apple, I think the future of this country is not bad. http://www.apple.com/ios/ios5/gallery.html#video-ios

A library in London makes you tell them your sexual orientation and if you are HIV positive before they will give you a library card. Because, you know, that's really important to know before they lend you a copy of Game of Thrones.

This is fucking scary: "Since 2006, a nurse who worked at various Dean Clinic locations in the state had been misusing instruments used to inject insulin. The nurse had been trained to demonstrate how to use an insulin pen and a finger stick device that tests blood sugar levels, and always changed needles after demonstrating the devices on patients. The problem is that the insulin pens were meant to be used in demonstrations on oranges or pillows, not on patients. Plus, even though the needles were clean, blood could get into the devices and be passed on to other patients who used them." http://jezebel.com/5836052/clinic-may-have-exposed-thousands-of-patients-to-hiv--he…

An alleged cannibal in Russia has been arrested after confessing to stabbing, killing, and then eating a 32-year-old man met using a gay dating service. The 21-year-old man, identified only as Ivan L reportedly confessed to eating the gay man, identified as Roman E, in the city of Murmansk, in the extreme north-west of Russia. The English-language Russian news agency RIA Novosti quotes Murmansk Investigation Committee chief Fyodor Bludenov as saying: “the defendant wanted to try eating at least 10 people in the future. “It wasn’t that he had an extraordinary hatred for those of a different sexual orientation, but he was sure that such people [gay men] would keep a secr…

I am addicted to several shows. I love Survivor and don't miss an episode. I love Big Brother. Some of my other favorites are all the Law and Order series and Dexter. But, a few years back I fell in love with a ShowTime series called Weeds. It is a wild ride to say the least. If you have not watched it, give it a chance. The season opener was great. If left off right where the old season ended. Totally Fucked Up! Anyone else love this wacky show?
